REJECTED ONCE, FROZEN FOREVER-Chapter 61: HE IS NOT MY MATE

Ariana turned around and gave her a cold glance.

"Stay away from me!" Was all she said and walked into the cinema room.

"Mommy!" Sophia called her when she saw her and stretching her arms.

Ariana walked towards them and sat down; she took Sophia from Adrian. They were watching a family comedy, they couldn’t watch horror because of Sophia and Isabelle.

The movie finished and they were planning on going to the lake and have a picnic later. Morgan and Ivan were going to go back to the house first to fetch the blood and the alcohol to mix.

They were walking out when they saw Hunter standing there.

"This just doesn’t end." Avery said with annoyance when she saw him.

"I’ll deal with this." Logan said and walked up to Hunter.

"I’ll go as well." Adrian said and followed Logan.

"How can we help you alpha Hunter?" Logan said when he reached him.

"Nothing! Ariana, can we talk?" Hunter said looking past Logan at Ariana.

"We have nothing to talk about." She replied coldly.

"Ariana!" He shouted her name, and she didn’t even spare him a glance.

"I have made myself very clear." She said balancing Sophia.

"Ariana, I am leaving Ava, we can be together." Hunter said trying to approach her, but he was stopped by Adrian and Logan.

"Even if you left Ava, I would not be with you." She said sharply.

"I don’t mind that you are like this. I will treat you better." He said with desperation.

"It seems like you will not listen until being taught a lesson." Ariana said coldly nodding to herself.

"Ariana, can I?" Rosemary asked.

"Go ahead, you need to test your powers anyway." Ariana replied.

Rosemary smirked and looked at Hunter with the same smirk.

"Logan, Adrian step away." Rosemary said approaching them.

"Before you start, I want to say something." Adrian said looking at Rosemary, then he looked at Hunter.

"I was quiet all this time because I thought it’s best, but now you are really testing my patients." Adrian spoke.

"Do you know the state we found her in. She was on her last breath when we got there, and who was responsible for her being like that. You guys treated her like she was not human, at times you would starve her and not feed her anything and at times you guys would torture her. Where were you all the time? You just stood there watching and join in the abuse." Adrian question, Hunter looked down at the accusation.

"You say she should come back, and you’ll treat her well, but all you guys really want is to use her again to build your pack. She is mine now and I swear whoever tries to take her away from me will face my wrath." Adrian warned and turned to Rosemary.

"All yours!" Adrian said and went to Ariana.

Ariana smile when Adrian came over.

"I love you!" She said when he reached her.

Adrian pulled her and his lips met with her, Olivia and the other looked at them and shook their heads.

"Mommy!" Sophia cried out feeling squashed.

"Sorry princess!" Adrian apologized and pulled away, he kissed her one last time and kissed Sophia as well.

"It will only hurt a little, I swear!" Rosemary said and inflicted the pain on him.

"What..." Hunter wanted to ask but then he fell on the ground in pain.

He tried to speak, but he couldn’t. He looked at Ariana as if asking for help, but she watched him coldly.

"Still dare to look at her?" Rosemary asked and increased.

Hunter screamed in pain, his screams brought people’s attention, since this was their pack most of them recognized that it was their alpha that was on the floor. They ran over.

"These vampires are too much, what are they doing to alpha Hunter?" Someone from the crowd asked.

"Isn’t she the girl that left the pack?" Another voice asked pointing in Ariana’s direction.

"So, they are doing all of this because he rejected her and took her sister instead." Another voice said.

"I have always known that these bloodsuckers were all losers." Another said.

"Someone please, stop them!" Another voice cried out for help.

"Ariana what is this?" Her father shouted when he spotted what was going on.

"Is this how you treat your mate?" He asked her again.

"Rosemary!" Ariana called and Rosemary stopped with the torture.

Rosemary stopped and went back, Ariana’s father rushed over and helped Hunter who was panting. Hunter looked at Rosemary with fear in his eyes.

"Point of correction, he is not my mate!" Ariana said looking at her father coldly.

"This is my mate!" She said holding Adrian’s hand.

"Hunter is your mate!" Her father shouted.

"Hunter’s mate is Ava, or have you forgotten he is your beloved daughter’s mate?" She asked and Ava arrived at the scene.

"Dad, what are you saying?" Ava asked in shock looking at her father.

"Ava, what are you doing here?" Her father asked looking at her.

"What did you say?" Ava asked her again.

For as long as she knew, her father always got her what she wanted. It was exactly this behaviour that made Ava feel like she could do anything and treat anyone as she pleased.

Her father always indulged her in whatever she did, he had turned a eye even to the time where Ava would beat Ariana for no reason.

"Great you here!" Ariana said sarcastically.

"Let’s go!" Logan said and in a flash they were gone.

The crowd looked at the place where they were only to see it empty. They had always thought that they were fast, but this showed them who was really fast.

"Dad, do you also think that Hunter should leave me?" Ava asked looking at her father.

"Ava honey, this pack needs for her to come back. We can go back to being the top again, I know you love Hunter, but you have to let him go." Her father replied.

Ava looked at her father in shock, she let out a bitter laugh. This reminded of the words Ariana spoke to her.

"Do you this is a pack someone comes back to; Hunter rejected me for you because I was weak. Now he wants to reject you when he found out that I am stronger than you. This pack made me feel like every day I was in hell, do you think I’ll come back and smile with you guys. Had it not been for this war I would never have returned." Ariana has said.

All the words kept on ringing on her ear. She looked at her father who supported Hunter who looked weak. She had thought that her father supported her, but she didn’t know he would turn around and say this.

"Okay, if I leave him what about my daughter?" She asked, she was carrying her daughter who was fast asleep in the nook of her neck.

"I will support our daughter." Hunter said in assurance.

"Do you really think that she’ll take you back?" Ava asked.

"Yes, she will. I am her true mate after all." Hunter replied.

"Even after what just happened, you think that she will come back to you?" Ava mocked.

"Yes, she will, she is just trying to blow steam." Hunter replied stubbornly.

Ava laughed; she placed herself in this situation.

"Well then, let’s break the bond." She said after a while.

Hunter was happy, he was like someone who won a lottery. Finally, when this bond breaks, he was going to be with Ariana.

"I don’t see a reason why she is fighting so hard for him?" Amelia spoke.

"Me neither!" Ariana replied.

"Let me go fetch the things." Morgan said.

"We can’t let them spoil our mood." Ivan said and went to help his mate.

"Okay, then we’ll go to the lake and wait for you guys there." Logan said and took Amelia’s hand.

"I can’t believe the nerve of these people." Ariana said with a hint of anger.

Everyday either her mother or Hunter came to bother her. Could they not see that she was happy with her new life.

"I am so tired of this place, I wish we could go home already." She spoke.

"Let me!" Adrian said wanting to take Isabelle.

Isabelle felt someone moving her and made a whine noise and opened her sleepy eyes. She saw Adrian and let him take her, she closed her eyes again and went back to sleep.

"I’m going to strike him with lightning the next time I see him." Adrian said.

"Are you not tempted by him. After all I am only your second mate." Adrian said with a hint of jealousy.

"I am not. We were not mates for that long that the bond would be strong. The bond was still fragile when he rejected me the second time. Besides to me, you are the only mate I have in this world." She spoke and looked at him.
