Return of the Mythic Bloodline-Chapter 313: It’s time to return
"She knew it," I murmured, breathing heavily. My whole body was drenched in sweat, and my heart beat like war drums.
"From the very beginning, Nymeria knew my identity. So why..." I muttered, clutching my head with both hands. "Why didn’t she say anything!?"
For the next few minutes, I tried to calm the storm inside me, opening the window of the room and letting the fresh air in. Before the memories of my past could completely overwhelm me, I hastily returned to the hospital room. It took me less than thirty minutes to recall everything that had happened in the past.
Countless questions and regrets struck me one after another, each one dragging me deeper into despair.
Why did Nymeria say she wouldn’t be able to meet me after the two-year time frame?
Did I reincarnate into this world after dying on the Sentinel Line? I wondered, but the thought was quickly dismissed, since the sealed memories were clearly from before the age of five. But then again, in my memories of Earth, I wasn’t an adult as I should have been when I died on the Sentinel Line. Moreover, the color of my hair and eyes was also different.
And most important of all...
What happened to Mother and Father?
As these questions stormed my mind, regrets pierced my heart.
How could I not recognize Nymeria when she appeared before me in the Forest of Gumiho?
Why didn’t I embrace her tightly that night? How could I just let her leave?
But the greatest hammer that struck me harder than anything else was the realization that the man I had assumed to be a monster who attacked us on that hill was none other than Uncle Stormir.
And I... I killed him!
The realization dragged me deeper into despair, yet I didn’t dwell on it as I didn’t have the luxury of time for that.
There was only one way to find these answers... I had to return to the Hundred Sky Mountains.
Taking a deep breath, I murmured, "I have neglected my duties for far too long. It’s time to go home."
I closed the window, moved back to the bed, and ordered as I lay down, "Vivi, activate Avatar’s Log-in."
"Initializing host’s request..."
"Establishing the connection with body on Vyoman..."
After a few minutes.
Ding...
"Connection stabilized!"
"Beginning the transfer of host’s consciousness..."
The vision before me darkened, the noises grew distant, and soon my senses completely vanished. I felt as if I were falling into an endless abyss for the next few minutes before I suddenly collided with something.
I slowly opened my eyes and found myself sitting in a lotus position on a bed inside a grand room adorned with intricate golden patterns.
In rapid succession, multiple notifications flashed before my eyes.
Ding...
"The Host has reached the maximum limit for Blood Manifestation: 25%"
Ding...
"The Host has reached the maximum limit for Bone Manifestation: 25%"
Ding...
"The Host has reached the maximum limit for Skin Manifestation: 25%"
"Congratulations! The Host has unlocked the First Stage of Mythic Transformation!

The Transformation consumes insane amount of Soulforce to maintain."
Although this transformation was undoubtedly amazing, it didn’t surprise me much, as I already had a vague idea of what it actually was. What truly surprised me, however, was the ability written at the bottom that I would obtain after activating it.
"It can increase my control over Divine Soulforce?" I murmured, raising an eyebrow. "But I destroyed my Tree of Divinity, so I shouldn’t even have access to Divine Soulforce to begin with."
My eyes suddenly widened as I realized something. All this time, I had been using Golden Lightning—the lightning of the Sovereign class—which cannot be accessed without the Tree of Divinity.
"Don’t tell me..."
I instantly closed my eyes and entered the Sea of Soulforce. My inner world appeared as usual, a vast golden sea stretching as far as the eye could see, with three gigantic black chains shackling the sun in the sky.
At first, I thought the disappearance of the fourth chain was due to my sacrificing the Tree of Divinity to remove it from the sun. However, I already knew that this had only been a temporary measure to increase my power at that time.
Once my Soulforce was completely consumed, the chain had returned and shackled the sun again.
So the only conclusion behind the chain’s complete disappearance now was...
"Blood of the Fallen," I murmured, realizing the reason.
Vivi had mentioned that it was the first relic I needed to remove the ban from my bloodline. So, to find my true form and remove the remaining chains, I needed three more ancient relics—one of which I already possessed: the Heart of the Fallen.
However, this wasn’t the reason I had entered my Sea of Soulforce.
My golden eyes darted around the area until they fixed on the ocean beneath me, where I noticed something strange.
With a twitch of excitement on my face, I dived into the ocean, reaching the bottom within a few seconds.
There it was, a small plant, only the size of a finger. Its stem was golden, and the only two leaves sprouting from it shone brightly like the stars in the sky.
"So it sprouted again," I murmured, gently touching the petal of the plant. "Don’t worry, little guy. I won’t sacrifice you again."
After gazing at the little plant for a few more seconds, I exited my inner world and returned to reality.
My legs were still crossed. Before I could even move, Vivi had flooded me with messages.
"Vivi, show me the status window."
"Initializing host’s request..."
