Return of the Mythic Bloodline-Chapter 328: Tree of Divinity
While my Soulforce was still expanding and surging, I shifted my focus inward, more precisely into my inner world, toward the Tree of Divinity.
The Tree of Divinity
It was the source that allowed gods to wield divine Soulforce. The mightier a god’s Tree of Divinity, the purer and more powerful the divine Soulforce they could use. Unlike ordinary Soulforce, Divine Soulforce could only be countered or blocked by another Divine Soulforce.
There were two ways for the Tree of Divinity to grow. First, it could grow naturally over time. Second, it could absorb Soulforce from the sea.
Previously, I had allowed my Tree of Divinity to grow naturally, since even a minor increase required an enormous amount of Soulforce which due to my young age I didn’t possess. However, after being damaged and reborn as a small plant, its growth rate had been reduced exponentially.
Now, I possessed Soulforce comparable to that of a High-Tier cultivator, but it was essentially useless. A greater volume of Soulforce did not mean my skills or attacks would become stronger. It simply meant I could use the same attacks more times and would not tire easily.
I lifted the barrier surrounding the small sprout of the Tree of Divinity, allowing my Soulforce to be absorbed into it.
Although the plant was at the bottom of the sea, completely submerged within it, it could not absorb Soulforce without my permission. But now that I had granted it, the sea level began to drop drastically as Soulforce was drawn into the plant and absorbed into it.
Its stem grew thicker and taller, more branches spread along its bark and numerous leaves began sprouting from those branches.
In just a few minutes, the tree had already grown to my height. Shockingly, it absorbed so much Soulforce that my reserves dropped from being comparable to a High-Tier cultivator to that of a late Mid-Tier.
"Just absorb more," I declared inwardly. "I have more than enough."
I only stopped once the tree had grown to the size of a regular mango tree, with numerous branches and countless sparkling leaves that resembled stars.
As for my Soulforce, it had dropped to the level of a True Sage. Still, for a being at the first level of the Transcendent Stage, which I assumed to be comparable to an Awakened Sage, this amount of Soulforce was more than sufficient.
When I opened my eyes, the tribulation clouds had already dispersed, and I was slowly descending toward the ground.
The barrier Ume had erected was gone as well, meaning the three gods would be arriving any moment now.
I quickly retrieved clothes from my inventory and put them on. I had no intention of being seen completely naked when the three of them arrived. Not that I particularly cared if they saw me bare, since Jambavan and Vyaghra were men, and as for Ume, well, she had already seen all of me. Still, I dressed myself because I was not an exhibitionist but a gentleman god.
Ding...
"Congratulations! Your Tree of Divinity has grown from Sprout Stage to Sapling Stage.
Divine Soulforce Purity: 10%
Note: Purity can be increased with the growth of the Tree of Divinity."
"Great!" I exclaimed softly. "The percentage might be low, but with this much, I am confident that no cultivator at the Awakened Sage Realm can pose a threat to me."
While I was at it, I tapped the top of the screen where the notification icon displayed "+2."
The inbox popped open, revealing two titles:
Goddess’ Ring of Engagement (17 hours ago)
Primordial Yin Essence of Gumiho (17 hours ago)
"Seventeen hours ago? That must have been when Ume and I fainted after our intense session," I muttered, tapping the first title.
Ding...
"The Goddess’ Ring of Engagement has evolved.

Conditions to unlock new skills and evolve the ring:

2. The goddess and the Host must release their essence into each other’s bodies. [Completed]
More Conditions: [Locked]"
"That was a wild condition to evolve the ring," I gasped while reading the second requirement. "Still, the new skill is extremely handy. Now we can meet instantly, no matter how far apart we are."
After thoroughly reading the details, I moved on to the second notification, which seemed even more intriguing than the first.
Ding...
"The Host has claimed the Primordial Yin Essence of the Goddess of All Beasts, Gumiho.
Description: Only goddesses blessed with divinity from birth possess Primordial Yin Essence within their nether region. For the growth and stability of a god’s Divine Soulforce, Primordial Yin Essence is the purest and rarest elixir.
Effects Upon Absorption
1. The roots of the Tree of Divinity will be cleansed of all impurities, resulting in purer and more stable Divine Soulforce.
2.Once infused, the Tree of Divinity becomes immune to Soul-based corruption, inner-world intrusion, divine curses, mental contamination, and foreign divine influence.
3. The growth rate and Soulforce conversion efficiency of the Tree of Divinity increase tremendously."
"A-am I reading this correctly!?" I gasped, shock clearly written across my face. "No elixir comes even the slightest bit close to this."
My stunned expression was obvious, given the astonishing effects I would receive upon absorbing Ume’s Pure Yin Essence.
Since gods were exceedingly rare in Vyoman, elixirs and treasures capable of aiding them in cultivation were even rarer. Across an entire continent, there were barely a handful, and even those offered effects so minimal they could be considered almost negligible.
Yet Ume’s Essence not only provided three distinct benefits to my Tree of Divinity, every single one of them was utterly extraordinary.
"Hehe, I must kowtow to Ume for such generosity and reward her properly," I murmured, a playful smile forming on my lips.
My feet touched the surface as I finally landed, where Ume, Vyaghra, and Jambavan were already waiting, proud smiles adorning their faces.
"Jambavan, Vyaghra, Ume," I called out, my voice laced with excitement. "Pack your belongings. We are going to the Mainland."
