Capítulo 1902: Chapter 1807: Opportunity (2)

“He can shut down my company with just a phone call!” Feng Rao was furious, and the bulging veins on his temples were plainly visible.

“Feng Rao, stop yelling at Mom, take a break, think of a solution slowly.” Feng Rao’s wife advised Feng Rao.

“Mr. Song said, if you want to blame someone, blame me for having a good mother. You shut down my company, I’ll come to you, you compensate me for my company!” Feng Rao shouted at the Eldest Uncle’s Wife.

“Oh dear… How could I have that ability? How can I compensate you for a company!” Seeing feigning ignorance couldn’t work, the Eldest Uncle’s Wife immediately changed her tactic, sat on the floor and began to make a scene, tears and snot came right away, almost as if she lost her parents. Her whole body was sprawled on the hotel’s marble floor, one hand slapping the floor making loud “pa pa” noises.

“Oh dear, what kind of mother am I, I did it for your good, am I guilty? Is it easy for me to raise you this big!”

“You little brat, you have no conscience, your company shut down and you blame me!”

“Did I do it on purpose, my son is capable, so what if I brag a bit, I just asked if that car was his own, he got mad, why blame me?”

Chapter 1808: Blame Shifting

“Why blame me, I’m an old woman, I understand nothing, why blame me?”

Seeing this situation, Third Uncle’s Wife and Li Sijie’s mother came to persuade her, only the Second Uncle’s Wife stood aside with a gloomy face, glaring at Feng Shuo’s Wife.

“Enough, Eldest Uncle’s Wife, get up quickly! So many people are watching.” Third Uncle’s Wife kindly pulled the Eldest Uncle’s Wife up.

“Yes, Eldest Sister-in-law, speak after you get up.” Li Sijie’s mother felt sorry and also stepped forward.

“You did well, didn’t say a word, and handled Feng Sheng’s matter, what about me? My son wants me to compensate him for the company, how can I do that? Should I go die, after I die, you won’t blame me!” The Eldest Uncle’s Wife sprawled on the floor refusing to get up, almost suicidal.

“Look at your Li Sijie, she’s capable now, found such an able husband, kept it from us, said she earns a million a year, I offended him, got my son into trouble, I should die, should die…” The Eldest Uncle’s Wife cried so sorrowfully, just like real crying.

“You look down on people because they earn a million? What does it matter to you what kind of car a person drives?” Li Fengrao continued to yell at his mother.

“He could just say he’s capable, why keep it from us? It’s all the fault of your Sijie, not telling us the truth!” Seeing Li Sijie’s mother, the Eldest Uncle’s Wife finally saw someone she could shift blame to.

“Eldest Uncle’s Wife, what are you saying, you’re the one who offended others, what does it have to do with our Sijie?” Li Sijie’s mother retorted to the Eldest Uncle’s Wife.

“Why didn’t you give us a heads-up, if I knew he was so capable, I’d stay far away from him.”

“I didn’t know that talking about a car would anger him!” Li Sijie’s mother spoke harshly too.

“Alright, stop howling, the mess you made, who else can your son blame but you, get up quickly, let’s go find Fourth Brother to discuss.” The Eldest Uncle helped the Eldest Uncle’s Wife get up.

The guests present saw this display, sensed things were amiss, some came up to Li Fengrao saying they wanted to leave, and others just slipped out through the back door.

Soon the hotel was left with only the Li family members.

“I always said that broken mouth of yours should speak less every day, now look, you talked Feng Shuo out of a position!” The Second Uncle’s Wife scolded Feng Shuo’s Wife.

“Why blame me, what’s wrong with my mouth, I wasn’t the one who angered him, it’s your son who spoke in official tones, why don’t you say something about that.” Feng Shuo’s Wife glared at the Second Uncle’s Wife, the two were at loggerheads.

“Alright, stop arguing, ask Jianguo, think of a way.” The Second Uncle’s Wife looked over at Li Jianguo who was sitting quietly.

“President Li, I’ll go now, okay, thank you.” Li Fengsheng, after finishing his call with Li Hongyu, was smiling widely, realizing something was wrong seeing everyone else worried.

“Eldest Sister-in-law, I have something to attend to, I’m leaving first.” Li Fengsheng grabbed his wife and left.

“Oh dear, now he’s clinging to a big tree, his smile reaching up to the sky.” Feng Shuo’s Wife saw Li Fengsheng’s delight, her heart filled with jealousy.

Li Fengsheng was pleased, didn’t bother with Feng Shuo’s Wife, but instead said to his parents, “Dad, Mom, you two better go back too, once I’m done here, you can steam some crabs for me at home.” Li Fengsheng winked at them after speaking.

“Let’s go.” Li Fengsheng pulled his wife and they left.

Third Uncle and Third Uncle’s Wife assessed the situation, came over to Eldest Uncle saying, “You guys carry on, my back hurts, need to go home and apply some ointment.”

Eldest Uncle knew well, didn’t respond.

Third Uncle and Third Uncle’s Wife quietly left as well.

“Younger Brother, what do you think we should do about this, blame it all on your Sijie and Song Xiaodong, relatives chatting together, why did they get mad all of a sudden?” The Eldest Uncle’s Wife tried to shift the blame again.

“How should I know, what were you talking about? How did you anger them?” Li Jianguo replied indifferently.

“You’re the ones who looked down on others, now you’ve provoked them, instead of reflecting properly, you want to keep shifting the blame.” Li Fengrao said to the Eldest Uncle’s Wife with exasperation.

“Why do you keep blaming me, Feng Shuo and his wife spoke to him too, why are you only focused on me!” The Eldest Uncle’s Wife looked about to make a scene again.

“Feng Shuo didn’t ruin my company!” Li Fengrao’s tone was not at all polite.

“Anyway, we offended them, should apologize and make amends then.” Li Sijie’s mother suggested.

“Why should I, my son’s company was shut down, and I still have to apologize to him!” The Eldest Uncle’s Wife flared up at once.
