Chapter 156: Sweet drama in the morning

Early in the morning, Damian woke up and saw Valerie still sleeping, her arm wrapped around his chest and her head resting on his arm. He smiled, gently brushing the hair from her forehead and kissing her cheek. π˜§π“‡β„―π‘’π“Œπ‘’π‘π“ƒπ˜°π˜·π˜¦π˜.𝒸ℴ𝓂

"Mmm... I’m still sleepy," Valerie murmured with her eyes still closed.

"Yeah, you can go back to sleep," Damian replied softly. "But I’m going to get up now. I’ll make breakfast for you," he continued.

Valerie smiled faintly.

"You’re going to make breakfast for me... That sounds strange."

"Why? Do you doubt my abilities?"

Valerie stretched, then lazily opened her eyes and glanced at Damian, who looked handsome with his messy hair. She hugged him again, letting their naked bodies touch, creating a warm sensation.

"I know you’re not very good at cooking, so just stay here," she said, closing her eyes again.

"But I want to try," Damian replied with a smile, looking at Valerie’s beautiful face. "Today, I’ll be your servant. I’ll do anything you ask, starting with making breakfast for you," he continued.

"Really?"

"Yeah... Now I’m Valerie Trierweiler McCourtney’s servant!"

Valerie chuckled, opening her eyes again as Damian kissed her lips, then released his embrace and sat up. But she immediately grabbed his wrist, not letting him leave the bed.

"I don’t want to let you go!" she pouted.

"Why?" Damian asked.

"Because I love you."

"I love you more... But I want to pamper you, I want to show that I can do anything, including cooking."

Valerie sighed, trying to open her eyes wide and looking at Damian, who was adorable with his lack of morning alertness, making her smile.

"What?" Damian asked.

"Your... The bird looks cute," Valerie answered, reaching out to touch Damian’s manhood. "Oh my God, it’s so cute and soft. So different from when it’s about to pierce me!" she continued, laughing.

Damian smiled shyly, quickly moving Valerie’s hand away from his groin.

"Don’t do this, you might wake him up."

"What if I want to wake him up?" Valerie grabbed Damian’s groin again. "He’s your greatness, he’s the only sword that can penetrate me... And he’s the one who can make me instantly happy, then fall asleep soundly... Isn’t that magical, huh?"

"Yeah..." Damian nodded uncomfortably, as Valerie’s touch began to arouse him. "But I don’t want..." He moved his wife’s hand away again and got out of bed.

"I don’t want you to get tired. Okay? Now I’ll make breakfast." He quickly put on underwear and blue shorts, then headed to the bathroom. "Just tell me what you want. I’ll go to the toilet first."

Valerie sighed heavily, lying back and staring at the dimly lit room’s ceiling with red lights, casting heart and "I love you" shadows.

’Is it already comfortable here? Does it mean that the person who sent Fanny or Fanny herself is not dangerous to us? But what if she wakes up from a coma? What if she says that she has a master who ordered her to harm me?’

She wondered, unable to stop thinking about Fanny, who was indeed identified as the perpetrator who put toy marbles on the stairs according to fingerprint evidence, but after that, the case stopped being handled.

"What do you want for breakfast?"

Her attention was drawn to Damian, who returned wearing a thin white undershirt, and his hair slightly wet, looking fresh.

"Do you want a sandwich, lasagna, steak, roasted chicken...?" Damian approached the bed again, then put his hands on his hips, looking at Valerie who was still lazy. "Come on, Baby... Tell me what you want!"

"Um... I think I want fries, nuggets, bacon, and... Strawberries," Valerie answered, thinking.

"Don’t you want chicken leg? Or... Egg, or spaghetti?"

"No... I don’t want that, it’ll make me too full."

"Okay, wait here. I’ll prepare your food," Damian said, kissing Valerie’s cheek before leaving the room.

...

Arriving in the kitchen, Damian saw Hannah helping Viviane prepare breakfast.

"Sir," Viviane greeted.

"Hey..." Damian glanced at the pantry table still filled with ingredients to be cooked. "What are you preparing for breakfast?"

"Um, I’m going to make soup, pancakes, spicy fried chicken, and a little rice," Viviane answered somewhat nervously. "Do you want any other menu?"

"No... I don’t want..." Damian shook his head. "But I want you to leave the kitchen for a moment."

"What?" Viviane furrowed her brows, looking at Damian in surprise.

Hannah was also confused but didn’t dare to speak, as she was still somewhat awkward around Damian.

"I want to cook for my wife, so I’ll borrow the kitchen for a moment," Damian explained, then walked towards the fridge. "But... I think I need your help for a moment."

"Okay..." Viviane approached Damian.

"Please get the strawberries... Bacon, then..." Damian furrowed his brows, thinking about what Valerie wanted. "Potatoes... Nuggets..."

Viviane quickly grabbed what Damian mentioned and placed them on the pantry table, while Hannah moved other ingredients that they would cook for the mansion staff’s breakfast aside.

"Um..." Damian suddenly felt overwhelmed seeing so many food ingredients there. "I think that’s enough. You can leave now."

"Are you sure?" Viviane was unsure.

"Yes..." Damian nodded. "I can cook by myself."

With some doubt about letting Damian cook, Viviane still left the kitchen and went to do other tasks like cleaning the rooms, while Hannah went back to her room because helping Viviane tidy up would make Valerie angry since she was never referred to as a maid again.

...

Damian started peeling potatoes very carefully with a knife, there were three large potatoes in total, then he cut them into dice shapes, washed them, and seasoned them with available flavorings and salt in small containers.

"After this, where can I fry them?"

He looked around until he opened the cabinet under the pantry table and took out a large frying pan, then placed it on the electric stove and turned it on.

"This isn’t too difficult," he said with a faint smile, then poured oil into it, nearly a whole large bottle filling the pan.

"Honey..."

The voice startled him, and he turned to see Valerie entering the kitchen with a surprised look.

"Are you serious? You’re only going to fry 3 potatoes but why use this much oil?" Valerie wondered and immediately turned off the stove.

"I didn’t know, I thought I was doing it right," Damian replied with his innocent gaze. "I know frying requires oil... And frying potatoes also requires a lot of oil so that they’re completely submerged and can cook perfectly... I’ve seen a video like that on YouTube or somewhere, I forget," he continued with a shrug.

Valerie laughed as she took out the basket from the air fryer and brought it to the pantry table again.

"You can fry using an air fryer so you don’t need much oil, making it healthier," she said, then laughed while looking at the potatoes. "What the fuck is this? Have you ever seen fries shaped like this?" she wondered, taking a large dice-shaped potato and staring at Damian.

Damian smiled shyly.

"I thought it wouldn’t be a problem... The dice shape is better," he said.

"Well, it’s nice but this shape won’t make the fries crunchy," Valerie replied with a laugh. "And you cut them so big."

"I don’t know... I just..."

"Enough..." Valerie continued to laugh and grabbed a cutting board and knife. "You don’t have to cook for me... It’s not your skill!"

"I thought I could... I wanted to spoil you," Damian said, looking disappointed.

"It’s Okay, Honey... you don’t have to do it, it’s not your skill, and you can buy or ask the maid to cook for me," Valerie replied, busy cutting potatoes. "It seems you’ve put too much seasoning. It’s not good for our health."

"I don’t know."

"Yeah, you don’t know about the kitchen... Even to make tasty fries, you need onions, flour... Not just adding seasoning and salt."

"Umm... okay, I won’t cook anymore." Damian hugged Valerie right below her belly, then slowly lifted her.

"Oh..." Valerie immediately smiled, resting her head on Damian’s shoulder. "This feels so relieving... I feel like I’m not carrying a burden in my belly."

Damian chuckled, then kissed her cheek while gazing at her fresh and fragrant face.

"Please, don’t let go," Valerie requested.

"That means you need rest..." Damian released his embrace gently. "We should just rest... Let Viviane cook."

"But..."

"Come on..." Damian grabbed Valerie’s hand, then directed her to the sink and washed it. "Instead of cooking, it’s better to lie down because I know your back hurts. But actually, it’s also good to walk around the mansion barefoot in the morning."

"That’s a good idea, or maybe we could go to the city park?"

"But then you won’t rest."

"It’s Okay!" Valerie exclaimed, then looked at Damian wiping his hands with a tissue. "I want us to go to the park... I remember there’s a food truck there selling crunchy bread with a soft filling..."

"So, now we want bread?"

"Yes... I want bread and then a green bean milkshake!"

Damian smiled, seeing Valerie now craving different food, even though she initially wanted to sleep all day in her room, but now she wanted to go to the park.

"Come on, I suddenly feel hungry!" Valerie exclaimed, hugging Damian’s arm.

"You’re not hungry, you’re craving!" Damian immediately kissed Valerie’s pouting lips.

"I don’t know, I want to eat bread in the park!"

"Okay, let’s go to the park now."
