Revenge Deal With The Devil-Chapter 140: COME OVER FOR LUNCH

Asis went silent as he stared at his reflection on the water deep in thought.

He thought maybe meeting his sister it would be easy for him to trap her and get her to lead him to their parents.

But now that it turned out to be Adara as his sister, he was still battling deep within him whether or not to do it and then again his promise to Silva would ring out loud in his head. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

It was like a game in which the teams of both sides are equally skilled and are neck on neck with each other struggling to win, but each time the opposing team scored a goal the home team was quick to score a goal to equalise the match so no matter what they did the match was a standstill game.

Noticing Asis silence, Adara wanted the to speak when a loud tummy growl made noise.

Asis looked at Adara hoping that she had not heard it but she was looking at him with amusement on her face, the tips of his ears went red as he was filled with embarrassment.

Finding his reaction cute, Adara burst into laughter only making the red shade go deeper than it was before.

"I’m sure my mom would love to have one more belly for lunch, so why don’t you come over?" Adara tilted her head asking Asis.

Amelia managed to learn how to cook after years of many and deadly kitchen accidents and now, she could cook decent meals for everyone.

Asis eyes widened as he felt much more at ease, he did not even had to offer but she invited him of her own will, did she trust him that much? Asis wondered taking a peek at his sister, she resembled their mother a bit the only difference was their eyes, he wondered if she got it from their father.

"If you insist." Asis beamed as he accepted the offer, but soon his mood went down realizing that what if his parents did not recognise him when they saw him.

Oh right, there was the background story that Silva told him, although he was not quite comfortable with the story he still decided to go on with it, that was his saving grace if he ended up not being recognised.

"Okay then let’s go feed that growling stomach of yours." Adara said with a sweet smile outstretching her hands towards him in which Asis held with a flushed face.

He could not believe he was being teased by his sister in such a manner, Demons rarely ate much but he had not yet fully unlocked his powers so he was still in a way weak and needed food to survive.

Adara hummed happily as they walked in the forests back to the castle where she lived, all of a sudden, men wearing black from above to below appeared out of nowhere.

They bared their fangs at Asis and Adara looking like they would eat them up and any moment, "Drop all your jewels and money and we would let you leave in one piece." A guy who seemed like their leader stepped forward.

Adara frowned as she felt displeased that such a perfect reunion day was spoilt by the bandits.

"Scram." She said in a cold voice as her bright sunny aura changed shocking even Asis.

He stared at Adara in shock unable to believe the bright young girl from few moments back had already changed so quickly.

Asis quickly snapped back to reality when a man’s groan was heard as he knelt on the ground holding his balls and kept on cursing in pain, it looked like Adara had just hit him in the balls leading to his painful scenerio at the moment.

"Attack them, and make sure to grab hold of the lady, I would show her how precious the jewel she kicked are." The man said looking at Adara with a lust filled face and seeing that something within Asis snapped.

The men rushed forward to carry out their boss’s order all of them rushing to Asis and Adara’s direction.

The two turned to look at each other before nodding in sync and smoothly, Asis raised Adara up and she gave each men in the first line that sent them flying far away, it seemed that she had the strength of a demon, well that was pretty much expected.

Letting go of Adara, Asis punched the men and would occasionally throw kicks, when he was done with the men before him he turned to check on Adara then he saw the man who had been kicked in the nuts earlier sneaking up behind her while holding something that looked like a syringe.

Asis was at least 100% sure that the syringe contained a sedative, the man planned to use his subordinates as a cover so while he and Adara were busy fighting, he would just sneak up behind her, drug her and drag her away from that area and by the time he Asis would be done, he would have already dragged Adara far away.

The thought of this alone made Asis blood boil to the extreme, without much thoughts, he launched a punch at the man’s face hitting him with all he had and the man did a spin before falling to the ground his mouth open as drool started dripping down slowly.

Adara noticed it due to the man’s pain when Asis fists connected with his face.

"Are you alright?" Adara asked Asis concerned when she was already done with her own half mean while the boss on the floor still stood there unmoving.

"I’m fine." Asis said with no expression on his face as his eyes was as cold as ice.

"Thank you for saving me." Adara decided to show him gratitude after noticing his bad attitude.

"Mhm." Was Asis reply with his expression still as cold as ever.

"What’s wrong with you though?" Adara asked as they continued their journey leaving the unconscious men laying there on the ground not bothered about what could happen to them.

"Nothing is wrong with me." Asis said simply as he was now back to normal, when he had hit that man the memory of Silva hitting him in such a way to came to this mind making him sad temporarily till he remembered that Silva was a changed man and he only did those things because he was stressed by Amelia and Damon and he was their child.

"Hmmmm, okay." Adara decided to push the topic back since the person in question was already back to his usual self.

"Anyways, welcome to my home." Adara said as she pushed a tree branch that stood in their way aside and lo and behold was a magnificent castle standing before them.

Asis looked at the castle in awe not able to believe this was were his parents were leaving when he had to share a room with Sean, he secretly shook his head with melancholy, what did he expect, the devil living in a shabby shack.

"Mom I’m home and I brought a friend for lunch." Adara announced when they entered into the castle and in few seconds lot of footsteps sounded with people rushing in.

By the time everyone showed out of the corridor and reached the sitting area, the people who had come to see the friend in which Adara had brought home, Giselle, Duane, Mika, Amelia, Damon, Max and Leviton were all there.

Asis felt suffocated as he was standing in front of his blood relatives and not only the nuclear family were here but it seems that the extended too was present.

Asis bowed to greet everyone hoping in his heart that his real motive would not be found out.

Giselle, Amelia and Mika smiled seeing the boy while Max, Damon and Duane all glared at him, Leviton looked calm and unbothered at was going on but only squinted his eyes at Asis.

"Welcome!" Amelia greeted warmly and maybe over enthusiastically because Asis looked beyond shocked.

"Wait you are the boy from the other day?!" Amelia exclaimed as she finally recognised Asis to be the one that she helped after he was ambushed on the road by bandits.

Hearing his mate’s words, Damon’s glare intensified the more as he kept on scrunitizing Asis without holding back.

"Can you all stop staring like that, it’s not what you think, he is just a friend." Adara clarified not able to take in her godmother weird looks and her aunty’s sheepish smile.

"We understand you honey." Amelia rubbed her daughter hair with a soft smile before turning to look at Asis with the same smile, "Let’s go for lunch then." Amelia announced as she hurriedly went to the kitchen to bring in the foods which they would eat.

As she left, Giselle and Mika followed behind to assist her while the males sat down round the dining table, Adara wanted to seat beside Asis but the seat was taken by Max and Duane sat on the other one making her sigh and seat next to Max.

"Adara go help your mother in the kitchen." Damon ordered, "But." She wanted to protest but was cut off by the look that came from Damon, "No buts, go now!" He said sternly and Adara grumbled as she left.
