Revenge Deal With The Devil-Chapter 89: IT WAS DAMON
"Where is who?" The three men looked at each other confused at what was going on.
"Hey mister, don’t come look for trouble here, just because we were beaten up by a woman does not mean you can come In here to insult us." The boss said feeling insulted by Silva’s grand entrance.
The two lackeys looked at each other wondering if this was just a sham, this was not the first time in the last two months they have been asked or stopped like this.
"I said I would only ask once, so you better answer me before I get crossed with you." Silva tucked his hands into his pockets waiting for their response but all the men wondered what was going on and whether Silva was insane or not.
"Since you decided to be dumb, let me refresh your memories, two months ago in the alley, what happened to that girl." Silva asked taking a step forward towards the men.
The three men suddenly felt shivers in their spines seeing him looking at them with that cold gaze coupled with the fear of Damon instilled in their hearts at the mere recollection of the incident.
"You must have heard the news going around, we were beaten black and blue by that darn woman." One of the lackeys cleared his throat, he would rather destroy their dignity than face that freaking demon again.
"Don’t you dare curse at her!" Silva roared glaring at the man who had just spoken and slowly without him even chanting any spells the man who spoke started to get surrounded by ice, he looked at his feet on horror as he felt the ice crawling from beneath him.
His eyes widened in horror as the cold quickly seeped deep into his bones, "We will just stop it already!" The man yelled as the ice has already reached his waist.
The boss and the buff man looked at him wondering what was up with him, they could not see the ice, they only saw him staring down at himself with his eyes widened in horror.
They looked back at the smirking Silva at the entrance having a gut feeling he had something to do with it.
"You said you would talk yet I ain’t hearing anything?" Silva questioned tilting his head in a scary manner.
The boss gulped, this man looked like he was ready to kill them, while there is no possibility of the man who they faced that night ever finding out that they told him neither did he have any chance if finding them.
And the chance of dying now was high so it was best that they told this creepy man what happened that night.
"It’s okay, stop whatever you are doing, I will talk." The boss resigned to his faith, Silva smiled and gestured for him to talk as the ice surrounding the man began to dissolve gradually.
"We were giving a job to kill a woman and then we followed her to an alley so that we can finish the job easily with no eyes watching but surprisingly the woman was very good with martial arts and defeated us in combat so we carried our injured bodies and ran away from the alley, that was all that happened." The boss narrated feeling sweaty in his palms as he hoped Silva would just leave after this and never come back.
"Are you sure that was all that happened?" Silva stepped closee to the boss with a murderous glint in his eyes, with swift movement he grabbed the boss’s neck like he would snap it off any moment.
"I would advice you to start talking before your neck snaps into two." Silva threatened coldly as he gaze looked dead serious, the boss tried to claw his way out of Silva’s grip but it was effortless as his hold on him was strong and tight.
"Okay fine I give up, there was this man." The boss managed to say, "continue." Silva said lazily as he dropped his hands from his neck folding his arms waiting for the boss to continue.
If his intuition was right, the man that was being talked about was Damon, no other person would go save her, but why would he do it, Silva thought that Damon believed that the Ophelia by his side was the real one, then why would he go out of his way to rescue Amelia.
"The man, he came out of nowhere and hit us, before ordering us to go tell the person that hired us that the girl has been killed, and then they disappeared, that is it I swear." The boss sweated fearing that Silva might not believe his story.
"It’s okay, I believe you." Silva patted the boss shoulder before turning around wanting to leave but he paused his footsteps, "No one should know of this visit." He continued before walking out not sparing the men another glance.
He knew it right from the start, Amelia was not dead and Damon definitely knew where she was but getting it out of him was going to be difficult.
The three men seeing Silva turning his back to leave suddenly broke into tears of relief as they hugged each other comforting themselves, the scare was not an easy one.
"Let’s leave this town." The boos cried out, it was best if they disappeared from the town completely so that no crazy fellows would come here looking for them again.
It was all because of that darn job, and all it left them was loss, if they could turn the hands of time they would go back and reject that kill offer because it was the curse of their problems.
"Yes boss, let’s do that, let’s go start a new life in a new city where no one knows us." The lackeys supported their boss more than ever on this, and say that as if practiced each men separated from the hug and cleaned their tears going to pack their own luggages.
