Rise of the Crusader-Chapter 252 Death Of The Beast
"Ahhhhhhhh!!!"
As the flame gun and cold gun hit its target, he was enveloped by both elements quickly and his voice reverberated throughout the entire surrounding.
Though the damage had been done, there was still a neutral expression on Raphael's face as he looked ahead. The blast had obstructed his way, making him unable to see what state the beast was left in after the attack.
He continued to stare at that area, and as the flames went off and the cold vanished, Raphael slowly placed his hand on both gun triggers. Just the slightest bit of odd action, and he was going to pull the trigger once more.
"I will rip you to shreds, Raphael Queen!" A familiar voice soon rang out.
Followed by that voice was the half-wolf-half-human appearing before Raphael. His body was painted in blood, while the majority of his furs were burnt and his bones could be seen.
He was in a disoriented state that it was barely up a few seconds after he appeared in front of Raphael, and the place he was standing on was covered in blood.
"All Hail Raphael Queen!!"
"He is invincible." 𝙗𝙚𝒅𝒏𝒐𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝙘𝒐𝒎
The students in the surrounding soon began to praise Raphael as he put the beast in his place. The majority of them had been bullied by the beasts during these past few days, and they wished death could come sooner.
So getting to see one of the beasts in so much pain brought a smile to their faces. Now, if they were to die, a smile would hang on their faces.
"Shut up!" The half wolf-half-human yelled. He was angered by the smile and the delighted expression on the faces of the humans in front of him.
"Hahaha! A dead man wants me to shut the hell up! Why don't you come shut it up yourself, you son a bitch!" That's right, I called you a bitch!"
The person who spoke was one of the students who had suffered at the hands of the beasts. A day ago, he would have cowered in the face of the beast, but as Raphael stood close to him, he was confident that no harm would befall him regardless of what he said.
His belief was the beast wouldn't be able to hurt him with Raphael around. As for their future plan, he already intended to follow Raphael wherever he went after this fight.
When Raphael heard the youth, he raised an eyebrow and turned towards him. He didn't know whether to find the youth courageous or just stupid.
The half-wolf-half-human was naturally stunned when he heard youth from a young age they had not been anyone who dare speak to him that way, yet a mere human insulted him. He bared his fangs and killing intent flashed through his eyes.
He had only taken his eyes off Raphael when a burst of flames enveloped his body. "Arghhh!!" The anguished voice of the beast increased as after pulling the trigger of the flames gun, Raphael did the same to the cold gun.
Both guns continued to wreak havoc on his body, but after a few minutes, his voice quietened and the flames and cold vanished.
"Was the wary feeling you felt from him because of his indestructible?" Gus asked with its eyes glued to the beast in front.
Despite the attack caused by both guns, the beast was still standing on his two feet. And apart from the blood that continued to increase, there was no other significant damage that was done by the guns.
"That's not it," Raphael replied.
"There is still something I'm yet to realize about him." He added.
The onlookers were in absolute delight as they watched the beast's body covered in blood, some had even begun to celebrate as it was only a matter of time before the beast would perish.
Among the onlookers, it was only a handful of them who begin to realize that the battle wasn't what it seemed to be. Judging from their state, it clearly seemed like Raphael was the one who had the upper hand, but being observant made them know that none of the attacks that were delivered to the beast dealt serious damage to him.
Sure enough, there were screams and blood around his body,, That was all. The beast was perfectly fine.
"You can't kill me, Raphael!" The beast said in a confident voice.
"You're quite foolish, don't you think, if your power is unable to leave a scratch on my body, what makes you think those pesky guns will do any better."
Raphael remained silent, hearing the beast. His silence caused a change in the expression of the people in the surrounding, they stared at one another, hoping someone would clarify them on what was going on.
"The beast is right, none of Raphael's attack has really harmed him."
"What about the blood and the screams?" Someone asked.
"He still feels pain, but I believe that's all. Do not let the blood full you, he is perfectly alright."
Those who had begun to celebrate Raphael's victory paused, likewise, the one who had been insulting the beast. They were beads of sweat all over their back and as they made eye contact with the beast they lowered their heads.
"Hahaha!" The beast burst into laughter when he saw the look on their faces. "You've lost hope in your hero or what is it you humans call it, but that's only natural when you encounter someone like yours truly."
"And as for you, Raphael, why don't we put an end to these shenanigans? I have a woman to feast on and twelve bodies to scourge." The beast said with excitement in his tone.
As the battle took a turn, the people in the surrounding began to leave. They lowered their heads and cowardly ran before the beast would descend on them.
Only a few people were left in the surrounding.
"You're right," Raphael said calmly, "Let's put an end to these shenanigans."
"Good! Now how would like to die? Should I rip your throats out, drain you of every blood until you're left with nothing, or should I rip your heart along with every intestine in your body?" The beast placed his hand on his chin, pondering about which way he would go about Raphael's demise.
"You know what, I chose three of them." He announced.
A smirk soon formed on his face, and followed by a pass of a breath, he moved. Raphael steadied himself and as the beast launched forward, he dashed towards him.
With the beast clenching his hand into a tight fist, he struck out a force punch. Sensing the power that was contained in that blow, the hair on Raphael's body stood on the end. He clenched his hand into a tight fist and sent forward a punch.
When compared to the beast's punch, Raphael's blow was rather light, but the extent of its power was unfathomable.
"Arrrrrggghhhhhhhh!!!" Followed by the multiple sounds of bone cracks, the painful voice of the beast rang out. His hand which collided with Raphael's was bent, and he spat a mouthful of blood soon after.
Staggering several steps backward, there was fear visibly according to the beast. While the previous attack had dealt no significant damage, this was massive.
"H-How can this be possible?" He muttered, seeing the deterioration that occurred briefly after the attack. It was first his hand that turned into ashes, then soon enough every part of his body began to break down.
It didn't even take a blink of an eye for his heart and the rest of his existence to be wiped off. Even the ashes of his body were no longer visible.
Raphael stared at the previous place the beast was, "Shit. Now I can never know what was wrong with him." He placed his hand on his face and then shook his head in disappointment.
"I need to learn how to control this power if I want some answer." He said in a soft voice.
Then, ignoring the looks of the people in the surrounding, he slowly walked into the building.
"The whole fighting has made me hungry, you should cook some buffalo wings for me once we get in. I already have enough wings preserved, so just do your thing, while I wait."
"And please be fast, don't keep me waiting for too long," Gus said as they opened the door to the building.
Meanwhile, once Raphael stepped into the building, the four who stayed behind stumbled to the ground. They stared at one another with, seemingly frightened by what they had just witnessed.
With one punch, Raphael completely erased someone from the world. His ashes weren't even left.
"Do not offend Raphael, Queen." The four of them arrived at that conclusion instantly.
