The Guardian of the Gates of Nielfheim is amazing in all aspects except his intelligence, and Kaizen might not be a player with many levels, at least not yet, but what he did have was the deductive ability and intelligence that most players lacked.

A fight between these two extremes was unpredictable and, at the same time, totally predictable.

When the Lord began to run towards the Library, where Kaizen was positioned, the Psyker was not dashing.

'I think the time has finally come to use that.' Kaizen said to himself, looking at the Dagger of Obsession icon in his inventory. 'Therkara, lend me some of your strength.' He thought and equipped the Dagger of Obsession.

[Item: Dagger of Obsession [Masterpiece].

This weapon had been forged by building the most powerful link for a blacksmith: the link between a master and an apprentice.

In order to fulfill his master's last wish, a young blacksmith devoted all of himself to building this dagger, and so this young man became the last in a long line of legendary blacksmiths.

Rank: Mutant.

Item Level: 1 of 2

Attack: 75

Defense: 30

Fitness Level needed: 35.

(Warning: This is a Mutant level weapon and only users above level 25 can use it.)]

Enjoying this magnificent item in his hand, Kaizen heaved a sigh of relief. He was very eager to finally have the opportunity and the level needed to be able to use this weapon. It seemed like an eternity had passed since he had obtained it.

The Dagger of Obsession was masterful, and for Kaizen it was a little hard to believe that he had made such an item himself. The blade still had details of the various tempers, and its base was like a bow, which twitched. Not to mention, the bright red stone on the handle.

Facing the Lord with the dagger in hand, Kaizen smiled encouragingly and then looked at the far lower right corner of his screen to check the time. It was 6:07 p.m. Since Kaizen had agreed with Jayaa that he would arrive at 7:00 p.m. at his new apartment to make the curry he promised, he knew he had a time limit.

"Ten minutes of my time. That's the most you'll get." Kaizen declared, pointing the tip of his blade at Sigurd. Soon after, Kaizen jumped down from the library's pediment and landed in front of the building's staircase. "Let's get started." He said.

Upon hearing this, Sigurd was furious. He had never been challenged in this way before, and as such, he felt insulted. To him, this was a challenge to his honor.

"You will... pay for... that."

"You are not the first to say that and you won't be the last." Kaizen replied, shaking his head.

Hearing this, the Lord became angrier. He couldn't believe that a person could be so impertinent.

When the Lorde was about five meters away, Kaizen leaned forward and started running as fast as he could. As soon as the Psyker got close enough, Sigurd attacked him with his giant claws. For a moment, Kaizen saw a scenario where he was torn in half by this attack, but somehow the Psyker managed to narrowly dodge it and attacked with the Dagger of Obsession subsequently. The blade slashed toward Sigurd's chest and wounded him only slightly.

'Shit. That was pretty shallow.' Kaizen thought as he saw how much it cut.

Immediately, Kaizen jumped to the side, dodging another attack from the Lord's claws, and then attacked again with the Dagger of Obsession, only this time the target of the attack was not Sigurd's chest, but rather his right arm which almost hit Kaizen.

"Agh!" Sigurd cried out in pain

'If I want to beat him, I can try his head somehow. Perhaps, the best way to accomplish this is by slowing his movements.'

Kaizen knew that there were several primary factors that gave the Lord an advantage in this battle.

Chief among these factors were the difference in attributes between the two fighters and their height. After all, although Kaizen was taller than most people, he was not a giant over ten feet tall like the Lord.

Deciding to slow Sigurd down, Kaizen's attacks began to be focused on his enemy's joints. Using <Sword Art> combined with <Deep Cut>, his movements were precise and effective, not giving his opponent many chances. However, a good player does not live by hits alone. Many times during the attacks, Kaizen underestimated the Lord's speed and was hit by very powerful punches.

Each of the Lord's blows caused Psyker to be stunned for a second, and during a fight, a second is always a lot. Thus Kaizen found himself at the mercy of the Lord, who attacked him with a torrential rain of blows.

Kaizen's MP reserve was low, as always, but now he had a card up his sleeves.

'I'll use <Apograph of Abilities>!' Kaizen thought.

[~Copy Condition~

The Guardian of the Gates of Nielfheim is a hidden deity of mythology. Make him kneel before you].

'I have to make this guy kneel? That's going to be hard this time.'

Kaizen didn't expect to have an easy copy condition to be able to copy a Sigurd skill like he had with Dathan, but he also dreamed it would be something not so difficult. In any case, Kaizen was more than willing to risk anything to be able to copy a Lord's skill, since he couldn't copy a skill of the yellow-eyed man a few minutes ago. f𝘳e𝒆w𝗲𝐛𝘯𝐨νe𝚕.co𝓶

In order to get rid of the pressure of Sigurd's consecutive blows, Kaizen used <Telekinesis> as an invisible barrier to slow down the speed of the giant fists and move a little away.

"You... are... running away?" The Lord, who had skin as gray as that of a zombie, uttered. "You are... weak."

"Of course I'm weak, you idiot. I started playing this game a week ago." Kaizen sneered with a tone of irony, but internally he was thinking, 'I'm under 60 HP. Shit, having low HP is so boring.'

"There's no use... making excuses... now. I won't... have... pity on you."

In Sigurd's hands, a sword with a yellowish blade and black handle, which emanated black particles of smoke, began to form.

"I see you are beginning to take it seriously." Kaizen said, and suddenly dozens of shadows, which looked like copies of his silhouette, began to rise in his rear, where there was the burning library tower. "I think I'm going to start taking that a little seriously too."
