As the day turned to night, Arthur did not plan to go out to enjoy the city, he planned to stay in his bedroom while improving his third TP talent, Clone Manipulation.

The man had yet to try out the sub talents of Clone Manipulation, although the title of the sub talent was clearly written on the panel and Arthur could guess what it was used for. Still, it was good to try and see the sub talent of Clone Manipulation firsthand.

[Additional Talent]

[Additional Talent: Clone Manipulation]

[Sub Talent:]

[1. Passive Clone] [35000 MP]

[2. Combat Clone [50000 MP]

[3. ShapeShift Clone] [75000 MP]

[4. Explosive Clone] [80000 MP]

[5. Origin Clone] [100000 MP]

[Rank: SS]

[Stage: Early]

[Talent Point: 0/299999 TP]

[Efficiency: 200-300tp/hour]

The third talent panel appeared after Arthur pressed his system watch. From it, he could see the amount of TP needed to ascend to the second or intermediate stage.

Although it was only clone manipulation, Arthur could confirm that the power of the Rank SS Talent was much stronger than Rank S.

’Should I change my second talent? With the Venerable Sage ability, I don’t need the Neutral Gravity Steps sub talent anymore,’ Arthur said, remembering his secondary talent.

He would think about the second talent another time. For now, it was better for him to start focusing on increasing the TP in the third talent, so that he could make a simultaneous ascension at the city cathedral.

Arthur retrieved the TP Elixir items from his storage. He had three different TP Elixir levels at least, ranging from level 3, level 4, and level 5.

The amount of TP Elixir level 3 was the highest - a loot on the 10th floor. The total amount of TP Elixir level 3 was 1760. One TP Elixir level 3 can provide as much as 10000 TP.

If the TP Elixir in the third talent requires about 300000 to get Ascension, then Arthur must use at least 30 TP Elixir level 3. That way, the amount of TP will be met and Arthur can immediately make Ascension.

[Description: Useful for increasing the amount of TP on one’s talent. Level three TP Elixir adds 10000 TP/item].

The man nodded, his guess in line with the explanation stated in the item details panel that appeared before him. TP Elixir level 3 was indeed able to increase the amount of TP by 10000 per item.

Arthur swung his hand and let 1760 pieces of TP Elixir level 3 float freely in his bedroom space. By manipulating his purple magic, Arthur opened 30 bottles of TP Elixir and let the liquid inside enter through Arthur’s mouth.

Arthur immediately pressed the third option menu, the Clone Manipulation talent. Suddenly the TP stock that had been obtained began to be allocated to increase the amount of TP in Arthur’s third talent.

[Additional Talent: Clone Manipulation]

[Talent Point: 300000/299999 TP] [Ascension!]

[DING! Congratulation on getting a new title]

[25. Ascension one night]

[One gains Ascension talent in one night from zero TP]

[Warning!]

[Immediately perform Ascension Talent]

The man smiled with satisfaction, his body glowing bright purple as his third talent resonated with Arthur’s elemental magic.

With such a large number of items, Arthur didn’t have to worry about the TP of each talent.

KNOCK!

The door to the bedroom was knocked softly, making Arthur’s attention focused. He immediately canceled his magic and put all the TP Elixir level 3 items back into storage.

As Arthur remembered, he had never asked the innkeeper for anything, so who was knocking on his bedroom door at this time?

Keeping his eyes open, the man stepped slowly towards the door. He peered through the small hole in the door, seeing a woman with an unfamiliar face standing right outside his room.

"Who are you? I didn’t order room service."

"I’m your next-door neighbor. Can I come in? I have something to discuss with you," said the woman.

’What does she want?" asked Arthur, suspiciously.

"Just talk here, I don’t need to open the door for you," replied Arthur, reluctant to let a stranger into his room, even if it was a bellboy.

The woman was silent for a moment, her eyes kept scrolling to the side as if she was staring at something.

Arthur had expected it, she had come and knocked on his door to trap him. Beside her, a man was probably preparing to thrust his weapon to Arthur.

’I lowered my guard because I thought it was a safe city, but crime is always there,’ Arthur explained.

Because of this, Arthur could not detect the man’s presence near her. Now, his awareness was high and his aura sensitivity had increased.

There were a total of seven people staying on the second floor of this inn, two of whom were standing outside Arthur’s room.

"Please... if you don’t help me, someone will kill me," the woman replied.

"Go away. I don’t want to get involved in your problems," Arthur said indifferently and returned to the couch in the living room.

THUMP!

Arthur squinted his eyes as he watched his room transform into a forest setting with sludge under his feet, sucking up his body.

Damn! One of the two had the forest persona ability and was planning to use it on Arthur.

’This is probably their last chance to rob me,’ Arthur said, not feeling threatened.

The sludge continued to suck on Arthur’s body in the middle of the swampy forest full of giant insects and snakes. For them, they were satisfied that they had trapped Arthur in their persona.

But, as a Venerable Sage, it was easy for him to disrupt a weak persona like this.

FLICK!

Slowly, the sucking mud dissipated and vanished into tiny particles. Trees sprouted and disappeared, insects and snakes turned into ashes.

Arthur’s anti-persona ability had managed to destroy the forest personas of the two thieves.

Feeling his forest persona shattered, the man who activated the magic was pushed far enough away with vomiting blood.

The woman who was none other than his lover stepped closer to the man, trying to confirm his condition.

CREAK!

The door to Arthur’s room opened inward, revealing the figure of Arthur in a black shirt suit with purple patterns, his hair black with violet pupils.

He glanced sharply and sarcastically at the two people, the ones who had threatened Arthur with their forest personas.

"That kind of magic doesn’t work on me," Arthur said, casting a violet light over his palms.

The two watched and felt the immense power of the purple light that appeared in Arthur’s palm, stronger than anything they had ever seen before. If Arthur unleashed that attack on them, they would die.

"S-Sorry, sir. We didn’t know you were a high-tier mage," the woman said, sitting down and bowing in surrender.

The man followed along. Rather than arrogance, they still wanted to save their lives. They admitted their actions.

They admitted that they were wrong for manipulating Arthur’s mind. They promised not to do it again.

Feeling that there was no point in Arthur killing them, they were allowed to leave this place. However, Arthur threatened again that if they ever did anything like that to him, he would not hesitate to kill them.

"Go and do not show your faces to me again."
