“Why wouldn’t I try to prevent my girlfriends from being attacked?” Adam asked angrily.

Adam froze as he heard what Rowena said and considered her words carefully before he said, “If she never gets attacked, your relationship with her will never become strained, leading you to leave Darah Five and causing her to eventually run away and arrive on Palaxia, where I met her.”

“Exactly,” Rowena replied in relief that Adam finally understood her meaning.

“Well, your hair and eye colour. You're from a prestigious family, so no one will suspect your Rowena Nosferatu if we change your hair and eye colour to make it seem you're a different race. Also, we could do the Clark Kent effect.”

“The what effect?” Rowena asked.

“It’s the phenomenon where adding or removing glasses can make it difficult for people to recognise a face, even a familiar one, due to how visual information is processed,” Adam explained.

“You mean that if I wear glasses, people won’t recognise me?” Rowena asked in a disbelieving voice.

“That's the scope of it, plus if we change your hair and eye colour, it will make it even harder for people to recognise you,” Adam stated.

“I’m not sure if this will work, but we can try it,” Rowena replied before asking, “Do you even have hair colour tech? And what about the eyes?”

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): Hair colour tech? Is that tech that allows someone to change their hair colour?]

[Tessisdabest (Imperial Down): Correct.]

“Spector?” Adam asked.

“I do indeed carry tech capable of changing both the hair and eye colour,” Spector replied.

“Great,” Adam replied with a smile before saying, “Please provide us with the tech and also some suitable glasses for Rowena.”

“Affirmative.”

“Hang on, I’m not sure the glasses are a good idea,” Rowena remarked.

“Why?” Adam asked curiously.

“Nobody wears them, remember.”

“Oh, you're right,” Adam replied as he was suddenly reminded of that before saying, “Forget the glasses, Spector.”

“Affirmative,” Spector replied again and a few seconds later, they saw Spector Android walk into the mess hall before depositing a small object that looked like an earring on the table and then leaving again.

“How does it work?” Adam asked as he stared at the small earring.

“Rowena just needs to clip it onto her ear like a normal earring and then say what colour she wants her hair or eyes to be,” Spector explained.

“It’s that easy?” Rowena replied with surprise.

“Why are you surprised?” Adam asked.

“The hair colour tech I know needs a person to wash their hair with a special shampoo filled with nanobots at least once every three months. The person then controls the colour change using their uniband that they sync to the nanobots,” Rowena explained as she picked up the earring and studied it for a moment before clipping it on her ear.

“Let's see,” Rowena said as she thought for a moment before adding, “I have always loved Lorelie’s hair colour, so let's go with that.”

As she finished speaking, she saw Adams' mouth open in surprise.

“Affirmative,” Spector replied before a holographic screen showing a Rowena who now had the same turquoise coloured hair as Lorelie.
