Chapter 670: Taste if your own medicine

Qie Xieling’s brow creased as he glanced down at the comments under his picture with his father that he had uploaded.

There were comments like Zaddy, Daddy I need some sugar and I can bend him back to a straight man filling the screen.

Qie Xieling’s lips twitched. Who would have thought a picture of his father smiling would rouse the vultures? He immediately deleted it for his dad’s sake.

He glanced at his father who seemed oblivious to it all. "What? Was that your dad?" he asked his hands still moving meticulously.

"Yep," said Qie Xieling unwilling to let his father know that the picture he posted invited trouble.

"Does he want us back home? Let him know that we will leave soon," he said and Qie Xieling nodded his head. He messaged his dad before setting his phone down.

After eating to their fullest, the pair of father and son headed home completely unaware of the storm brewing.

They entered the house with so many shopping bags in their hands. The driver and butler followed behind with even more bags. It was as though they had bought the entire mall.

"Where is XiXi?" asked Qie Ranzhe and his mother who was looking at the wedding decorations pointed up the stairs.

"He went upstairs. He is probably mad about something," she replied and his brows furrowed a little confused.

He quickly went upstairs skipping two or three steps each time. Qie Xieling already had an idea of what his dad was mad about. It seemed his father would get a taste of his own medicine.

Qie Xieling sat down near his grandma and hugged her while complementing the decorations. "They look pretty."

"Very pretty. Wait until you see your wedding attire. Your dad has an extremely good eye," she said feeling quite proud.

"I wonder how it will look on me. I want to look handsome," he said and his nana pinched his cheek before saying,

"You will look like a pretty princess."

Qie Xieling, "..."

Meanwhile, Qie Ranzhe had reached their bedroom his heart a little unsettled. He didn’t know what made his man upset or who made him mad. When he found out who it was he would make sure to make them regret it.

When he entered the room the lights were dim with the only source of light seeping through the bottom of the bathroom door. He tossed his suit jacket onto the bed and made his way over to the door, tugging at his tie as he walked over.

He knocked softly before pushing the door open, peering inside to see his sweetheart reclining in the bathtub. The soft light of the room cast a gentle glow over everything, highlighting the curves of his husband’s slender stretched-out leg resting at the edge of the bathtub.

For a moment, Qie Ranzhe couldn’t stop staring at him his heart swelling with love and desire. He could never get enough of Wen Qinxi. Even after all these years together, he still found himself captivated by every inch of his body.

With a soft smile on his lips, he approached the bath, his eyes never leaving his husband’s naked frame. He stepped closer until he was standing directly in front of the tub, gazing down at his beloved with a look that was all too familiar.

It was only when he felt the tension emanating from his husband did his expression change.

Wen Qinxi just glanced at him obviously sulking. It was then he realised he might be the cause. With a soft sigh, he moved to kneel beside the bathtub, his heart heavy.

"Babe," he whispered, reaching out to run his fingers over his lover’s knee. "Talk to me, my love. What upset you?"

Wen Qinxi who knew he was being childish snorted coldly before saying, "You are such a vixen. You stirred up trouble online and yet you dare ask me that," he said, his voice with a hint of coquetry.

Qie Ranzhe, "..."

When did he stir up trouble? He was just having dinner with his son so when did he have time to start fires? It suddenly hit him. It had to do with the picture he took. He rarely took pictures and if he was in any they were for business purposes. In those pictures, he was always serious but this time for his son’s sake he smiled.

"Such a beautiful smile. Do you want to start a harem?" said Wen Qinxi sounding so bitter making his husband’s heart ache.

He leaned in to press a soft kiss against Wen Qinxi’s knee. "I will have Lin Lin delete it... You know you are more than enough for me, my love," he murmured, reaching up to caress his cheek. "You are the only person I want, the only person who can ever satisfy me. Now don’t be upset anymore, okay?"

Wen Qinxi’s heart melted from his sweet words. He knew it already but he wanted his man to say it. It wouldn’t be far-fetched to call him spoilt.

"Did you miss me?" Qie Ranzhe asked softly, running a hand through Wen Qinxi’s hair.

Wen Qinxi finally smiled up at him, his eyes filled with an expression that spoke volumes. "I missed you but it seems you didn’t miss me," he replied, reaching out to take his husband’s hand in his own.

"Says the person who didn’t reply to my messages," complained Qie Ranzhe and Wen Qinxi chuckled softly. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

"That’s because I was busy with Lin Lin’s matters. Besides, how does one respond to ’send me words of encouragement so I don’t murder our future son-in-law’ hahaha? What did he do now," he said finding this quite amusing.

"He met up with Lin Lin and brought him food. By the time I picked him up, he had already eaten. I was forced to skip lunch," he complained and Wen Qinxi found his husband cute while acting this way.

"I am sorry Ran-ge. Come here and I will make you feel better," he said and Qie Ranzhe obediently leaned over. Who could resist such charm? He kissed Wen Qinxi deeply on the lips with the water rippling with their movements. The gentle splashing sounds of the bath water paired with the sound of kissing sounds filled the room further fuelling the passion between them. Qie Ranzhe’s hands began to wander across Wen Qinxi’s body, caressing his skin with a slow, teasing touch. He trailed his fingers over his lover’s chest, marvelling at the warmth and smoothness of his skin.
