School Hunk or Childhood Sweetheart?-Chapter 398 - 399: Do you prefer boys or girls?
Shen Weiyi felt so awkward she could have used her toes to dig out a three-bedroom apartment.
She had just finished her bath, and her skin was like flawless, bright white jade, glowing all over.
Right now, from her heels to her hair, she was tinged with a faint pink hue.
Exceptionally tempting.
Sheng Ting caught a glimpse of those violet bruises on her body, and his eyes deepened as he said, "Sorry!"
"Huh?"
Shen Weiyi followed his gaze and in the next second, she reached out to cover his eyes, her face turning so red it seemed ready to bleed, "Don’t look anymore."
"Okay, I won’t look," Sheng Ting obediently closed his eyes.
"Turn around," Shen Weiyi still wasn’t at ease.
A low chuckle escaped from Sheng Ting’s thinly pursed lips as he compliantly turned his back.
Shen Weiyi watched his back, let out a sigh of relief, quickly changed into her clothes, checked them over again, and then said, "Alright, you can turn back now."
Sheng Ting turned around, saw that she had changed her clothes, and once again scooped her up horizontally in his arms.
Shen Weiyi wanted to say she could walk by herself, but she swallowed the words before they reached her lips, let it be! If he liked to carry her, then carry her!
Sheng Ting carried her to the sofa in the living room and brought some cooked porridge to her, "You’ve just woken up. Have some porridge first. I’ll go out to buy groceries later and make a feast for you tonight."
The porridge must have cooked for a long time, looking very thick. Kept warm in the pot, its temperature was just right.
Shen Weiyi felt like a child in front of him at this moment.
Suddenly, it occurred to her that he would probably be a great father, just like Shen Juanzhi.
Seeing her holding the spoon and zoning out, Sheng Ting asked, "Don’t like it?"
Shen Weiyi came back to her senses, lifted her head to look at him and asked, "Do you prefer boys or girls?"
Sheng Ting paused for a moment, his gaze then fell on her abdomen. Though it was probably too early to tell, one-hit wonders weren’t out of the question.
"I like both," he said.
"What if you had to choose one?" Shen Weiyi pressed on.
Gazing at her tenderly, Sheng Ting said, "Then, a girl, one just like you." He would surely spoil their daughter into a princess, just like his father-in-law.
Shen Weiyi imagined what their daughter might look like, wondering whether she would resemble her more or Sheng Ting.
She should... probably be very cute and pretty!
If it was a son, that wouldn’t be bad either, hopefully as smart as him.
Wait, what was she thinking about?
Shen Weiyi, you’re about to go to the branch office. Focusing on your career is what you should be doing now.
As for children, that’s something to consider in the future.
Shen Weiyi gathered her thoughts and finished the porridge Sheng Ting had prepared for her, "It’s delicious, thank you!"
"As long as you like it."
Sheng Ting took the bowl to the kitchen and then brought her a plate of washed and cut fruit.
Eating the sweet fruit, Shen Weiyi felt even more like a child in his eyes. Looking at him, she sighed, "You’re really going to spoil me like this."
Sheng Ting reached out to pull her into his embrace, smiling gently, "You’re my wife now. Who else should I spoil if not you?" Spoiling her now, and spoiling her and their children in the future.
Nestled in his arms, Shen Weiyi lifted her head, her eyes directly meeting his, clearly reflecting her own image in his pupils.
It was as if his eyes held only her.
It seemed like growing old slowly like this, a lifetime, was quite nice.
