School Hunk or Childhood Sweetheart?-Chapter 433 - 434: Why Are You So Stupid?
"Sheng Ye, you’re sleeping in class again," a roaring voice came from the podium as Sheng Ye dozed off.
Sheng Ye was startled awake, rubbed his eyes, and sat up straight. Glancing at the blackboard, he said, "Teacher, I already know everything you’re teaching."
The teacher, with a darkened face, said, "You’re so brilliant, you might as well not attend school. Since you don’t want to listen to my lecture, get out."
Sheng Ting glanced at him, said nothing, and walked straight out.
The door closed, cutting off the old man’s noisy voice. Sheng Ting leaned against the wall behind him and closed his eyes.
Without the disturbing noise, he slept even more peacefully.
"Ding-a-ling—"
He didn’t know how much time had passed when the bell for the end of class rang. Sheng Ting yawned and straightened his crooked body.
As soon as he opened his eyes, he was met with a magnified face.
He jumped, and his drowsiness instantly halved. Instinctively leaning backward, his head went "thud" against the wall.
"Are you okay?" The person opposite moved a bit closer upon seeing this.
Sheng Ye frowned and pushed the intruding head away with one hand. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
Tang An’an widened her clear, black-and-white eyes, looking at him curiously, "Were you asleep just now? You’re incredible; you can even sleep while standing up."
Sheng Ye ignored her and walked around her back to the classroom.
But she followed, her chattering voice continuing,
"What were you doing last night? Didn’t you sleep well?"
"Teacher looked really angry, will he punish you?"
"Aren’t you scared at all?"
"..."
"You’re so noisy!" Like a quacking duck!
Sheng Ye stopped walking, his face wearing an impatient frown.
The girl immediately covered her mouth, leaving only her large eyes darting around.
Seeing him turn around, she then took her hand off her mouth. Just as she was about to follow him again, she heard Sheng Ye’s impatient voice, "Why are you following me?"
Blinking her big eyes, Tang An’an said, "You helped me last time, or I wouldn’t have known what to do. I haven’t properly thanked you yet. Let me buy you ice cream after school?"
"No need," Sheng Ye refused and continued walking.
Tang An’an unconsciously tried to follow him but accidentally slipped on a pebble. As her knee hit the ground, pain made her cry out, and tears immediately welled up in her eyes.
"Why are you so clumsy?" A voice of disdain sounded above her head.
A hand was extended toward her.
Tang An’an looked up, seeing Sheng Ye who had come back, swallowed her tears, and grabbed his hand to stand up, "Thank you!"
Sheng Ye let go of her hand and continued walking forward.
Tang An’an paused then quickly followed him, "I heard the teacher calling you Sheng Ye earlier? Can I call you Xiao Ye? Do you remember my name? I’m Tang An’an, you can call me An’an."
"Xiao Ye, you missed the class; let me lend you my notes?"
"No need. And stop following me," Sheng Ye said coldly.
"Okay!" Tang An’an stopped walking, disappointed.
He seemed to be very reserved and didn’t seem to like her much.
But remembering they were in the same class and would meet often, she quickly cheered up.
After all, he had helped her, and mom said one must be grateful in life.
Since he had helped her, he was her friend.
