Before Galatea could retort, a gust of wind rushed past as Kara grabbed his mother midair, landing gently on the ground. She steadied her, concern in her voice.
"Are you okay?"
Miss Blackwynd blinked rapidly, her mind struggling to process the blonde-haired superhuman standing in front of her. She studied Kara's face, then let out a slow breath.
"I suppose you're Kara... and not her.."
Kara offered a reassuring smile. "Yeah, I am."
A sharp sound of shifting debris cut through their moment as Galatea stood up from the crater Arthur had just sent her into. She rolled her shoulders, cracking her neck, her piercing gaze locking onto the white-haired young man who had dared to land a hit on her.
A smirk curled at the edges of her lips.
"Ohhh, so it's you." Her tone was casual, but there was an underlying challenge in it. "You're that Arthur."
Arthur's glowing blue eyes didn't waver. "I'm not gonna ask why you're here, but considering you were after my family... this naturally has to do with me."
Galatea scoffed, placing a hand on her hip. "Yes, Captain Obvious."
And then she moved.
A blur of speed.
Before Arthur could react, her fist smashed into his raised forearms, barely giving him time to form a cross-block. The impact sent a shockwave rippling through the air.
Then...BOOM.
Arthur was launched like a bullet, crashing through the Blackwynd estate's outer walls and vanishing into the distance.
Kara's eyes widened slightly. "Arthur!"
Galatea dusted off her knuckles, a smug grin forming. "Huh. Thought he'd be tougher."
Kara's head snapped toward her, her expression shifting from concern to steely determination.
"You just attacked an innocent family."
Galatea rolled her eyes. "Oh, please. Save the self-righteous speech. I didn't kill anyone."
Before the tension could snap, the rubble from Arthur's crash site shook.
A deep rumble echoed as a figure emerged.
Arthur stepped out of the wreckage, dust rolling off his shoulders. His jaw was clenched, his body straightening.
"Damn." He flexed his fingers, rolling his wrists. "She's really not holding back."
His glowing blue eyes sharpened "Come out", his shadow stretched and from it two figures emerged, Kaisel and Blade.
The Elite knight knelt slightly, awaiting orders.
Arthur didn't hesitate. "Take my mother and brother on Kaisel's back, wherever they want. Just get them away from here."
Blade simply nodded. Then, in an instant, they went into motion, already on their task.
Arthur turned back, his gaze locking onto Galatea. who is far away right now his hands curled into fists.

Kara stepped forward, her blue eyes narrowing. "What the hell are you doing here, Galatea?"
Galatea let out a low chuckle, brushing some debris off her shoulder as if the fight hadn't even phased her. "Oh, you know... sightseeing. Checking out the local architecture. Smashing through it." Her smirk widened. "And, of course, dealing with unfinished business."
Kara's gaze darkened. "Cadmus sent you, didn't they?"
Galatea tilted her head mockingly. "Not quite, but not wrong" She clasped her hands together in fake excitement. "You really should've joined a detective agency, Kara. You're almost as sharp as your human pets."
Kara's fists clenched. "What does Cadmus want with this family?"
Galatea gave her a lazy shrug. "Oh, you know how it is. They see something unique, something powerful, and they just have to poke at it. Study it. Maybe even control it." She leaned in slightly, her smirk turning wicked. "Kinda like how they made me... better than you."
Kara crossed her arms, glaring. "Better? That's funny."
Galatea laughed. "Oh, that's adorable. You think this is about morality, don't you?" She took a step closer, her eyes gleaming. "Let me ask you something, Kara, what have you really accomplished? You spend your days playing hero, saving people who wouldn't last a second without you, while I... I was made for something greater."
Kara's jaw tightened. "You were made to be a weapon."
Galatea grinned. "Exactly. And I embraced it." She tilted her head mockingly. "Meanwhile, you're still pretending to be normal. Trying to fit in. Like some lost little orphan girl desperate for a home."

Kara didn't flinch. "I have a home. I have a life. And I made my own choices."
Galatea's smile twisted. "A life? Or a lie?" She leaned in, her voice dropping slightly. "You fake being human. I surpass them. That's the difference between us."
Kara exhaled slowly, her stance firm. "No, the difference is, I choose who I am. You let them decide for you."
For the briefest second, something flickered in Galatea's eyes. But then, just as quickly, it was gone. Her smirk returned. "Cute speech. Too bad it won't change anything."
And then she moved.
A sonic boom split the air as Galatea rocketed forward, her fist colliding with Kara's guard like a warhammer. The impact sent a shockwave through the air, rattling the ruined Blackwynd estate below. Kara's feet dug trenches into the dirt, her arms straining as she absorbed the force.
Galatea didn't stop.
She twisted, her elbow smashing into Kara's ribs then a brutal knee to the gut, doubling her over.
"Sloppy." Galatea grabbed Kara by the collar of her suit and launched her like a missile through the trees.
Kara twisted in mid-air, slamming her hands into the dirt, flipping herself upright just as Galatea was on her again. Another punch, Kara blocked Galatea followed up with a spinning kick to the side of her head.
Kara crashed through a massive oak tree, splinters flying like shrapnel. She barely had time to recover before Galatea appeared in front of her, floating just above the ground, arms crossed.
"C'mon, Kara. You're making this too easy. I thought we were supposed to be evenly matched?"
Kara wiped a streak of blood from her lip.
She charged.
Faster than a bullet, Kara feinted left, then slammed an uppercut into Galatea's jaw, sending her skyward. The ground beneath them cratered from the sheer force. Kara shot up after her, breaking the sound barrier as she tackled Galatea mid-air.
They spun like a tornado, exchanging brutal punches mid-flight each strike like thunderclaps shaking the sky.
Galatea grinned through the onslaught.
"Finally showing some bite? Too bad it's not enough."
She caught Kara's next punch, then twisted her wrist, flipping her over, and plummeted down, slamming Kara into the earth like a meteor. The shockwave ripped trees from their roots, the ground fracturing like glass beneath them.
Before Kara could move, Galatea pressed her boot against her chest, pinning her.
"See?" she said smugly, leaning down. "No matter how much you fight it, I was made to be better than you."
Kara gritted her teeth, her blue eyes blazing.
"You keep saying that..." Her hand shot up grabbing Galatea's ankle. "...but I'm still the original."
Galatea's smirk faltered. Only for a second.
And then
A CRACK OF AIR.
A fist covered in jagged, bone-like gauntlets smashed into her ribs, sending her careening through the sky like a broken missile. The world blurred around her before she crashed into the earth, carving a trench through stone and soil. The shockwave alone sent debris flying in all directions.
She barely had time to process the pain before a massive shadow loomed over her.
A second impact. A monstrous fist as large as a car drove into her stomach, embedding her deeper into the rubble.
Doom had arrived.
Arthur landed with the force of a meteor, standing over her. His ashen-white hair flickered in the wind, his blue eyes glowing with an unnatural light.
"You didn't think I was done after one punch, did you?"
Galatea barely had time to snarl before Arthur was on her.
He moved with precision, efficient, brutal. A lightning-fast elbow to her jaw. A bone-gauntleted uppercut that launched her into the air. She tried to right herself mid-flight, but Arthur appeared above her instantly, his foot driving down onto her back.
CRASH.
She slammed into the ground so hard the terrain caved in.
Doom wasn't far behind.
As Galatea groaned, struggling to push herself up, a titanic foot met her side, launching her across the battlefield.
Arthur was already waiting.
He caught her mid-air with Ruler's Authority, suspending her for a fraction of a second, just long enough to drive a devastating knee into her spine.
She gasped. For the first time, actual pain flashed across her face.
"Not so smug now, are you?" Arthur muttered, grabbing her by the arm.
With a flick of his wrist, he hurled her towards Doom.
Doom caught her with a thunderous punch, one that echoed across the entire Blackwynd estate.
Galatea hit the dirt, coughing, blood on her lip.
Before she could react, massive clawed hands grabbed her wrists.
Doom held her down, his monstrous strength pressing her into the fractured ground.
Arthur stepped forward, his Demon king longsword materializing in his grip. The air hummed with electricity as lightning crackled along its edges.
His expression. Cold and absolute.
He raised the sword the tip hovering just above her throat.
"You would be a fine addition to my legion."
Galatea's breathing was heavy. She didn't respond immediately. But then
Her eyes started glowing red.
Arthur didn't flinch he just stood there, sword in hand, watching her.
Because he knew exactly what she was about to do.
And he didn't care.
