Shattered by Fate, Restored by Truth-Chapter 1114: Fu Shihan: It’s Not That I Want a Monopoly, They’re Just Not Up to It
The car drove through the gate, and before it even stopped, Su Wanxin saw Fu Shihan’s car parked at the front door.
He came back early again?
Su Wanxin was startled, opened the door to get out of the car, and indeed saw the shoes at the entrance once she was inside.
"Is Brother Han back?" 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
Lin Rui followed inside quickly, looked around, wanting to report the recent events to Fu Shihan.
"Mom!"
Yangyang was just coming down the stairs, saw Su Wanxin and the others, and quickly ran over, hugging Su Wanxin’s arm and whispered with furrowed brows.
"Uncle Jiang got hurt!"
Uncle Jiang... Jiang Cheng?
Su Wanxin quickly thought it over, exchanging a glance with Lin Rui.
Lin Rui’s face changed as he rushed upstairs. Su Wanxin looked down at Yangyang, listening as he continued. "There was a lot of blood!"
Su Wanxin frowned deeply, held his hand and sat down on the sofa, holding him as she asked, "Didn’t Dad take him to the hospital?"
"No, but a doctor uncle came to the house, and Dad said Uncle Jiang is fine, told me not to worry!"
Jiang Cheng, someone so clever, yet got injured.
Did he go to Canada with Fu Shihan? What on earth happened? If he got hurt, what about Fu Shihan?
Su Wanxin’s heart was caught in suspense, until Fu Shihan came down, she scrutinized him up and down, feeling relieved only when she saw he seemed unharmed.
"Something happened at the doorstep?" Su Wanxin asked bluntly.
Jiang Cheng was still bleeding when he got home, which meant it couldn’t have happened in Canada, and it was unlikely to have happened at the airport, as going to the hospital directly would have been more convenient.
Fu Shihan nodded with a somber face, "It was someone he ran into while buying cigarettes at the supermarket."
"Who sent the person?"
"Not sure yet. But if I’m guessing correctly... it’s Cheng Yao."
Fu Shihan’s words made Su Wanxin’s body stiffen abruptly: "You saw her in Canada?"
"No, but Jiang Cheng ran into her. According to Jiang Cheng, Cheng Yao really wants to see me."
To guard against Cheng Yao, Fu Shihan had deliberately changed his flight last minute.
They were cautious all the way at the airport, considering that Cheng Yao might have sent people to block them there. But who would have thought, returning safely to relax on their own turf, they’d be ambushed instead.
"What does she want to see you for?"
"Who knows." Fu Shihan laughed, "Probably wants to sleep with me."
He spoke without thinking, only realizing after that his son was nearby.
Fu Shihan glanced at Yangyang, then looked at Su Wanxin, and got down to business.
"Just got off the plane and received a call from the company saying what data you wanted?"
"That’s right." Su Wanxin nodded. "While you were away these few days, someone wanted to sue your company for market monopoly and something about abusing market dominance... If I remember correctly, that’s what they accused you of."
Fu Shihan scoffed after hearing it, "It’s not that I want to monopolize the market, it’s that they’re incompetent, even when given the opportunity they can’t manage."
Su Wanxin rolled her eyes and added, "And on my end, I’ve also received reports from others. Suspecting some data released by your company is problematic, and they sent me dozens of pages of material that have my head spinning."
"They sure know how to complain." Fu Shihan mused, "It’s not good to go public with this, and even worse if you don’t."
He quickly figured out the other party’s intent.
"So please, President Fu, quickly agree to have your staff send me all the data files, so I can find the loophole in that fake data as quickly as possible, OK?"
