She Chose to Be Strong After Her Rebirth and Won Everything Back-Chapter 270 - Pissed Off
270 Pissed Off
Little Gu was a little surprised.
However, he still got out of the car and opened the door for the two of them with a smile, “Aiya, it’s true. You really look like President Liang.”
Liang Jie’s smugness came up, “That’s right. I raised your Boss when he was wearing diapers. I was only four or five years old at that time!”
“Oh, oh, that’s amazing. This is what it means elder brother like a father and elder sister like a mother!” Little Gu continued.
Liang Wen booked the restaurant at the best farmhouse in Jiang City. Although it didn’t look luxurious, the people who came in were the bosses who were tired of eating big fish and meat and came in to clean their tastebuds.
The shop was ordinary, and the price was not close to the people.
“Oh, why did we come to a restaurant?” Liang Jie felt a little regretful. She wanted to have a meal at Liang Wen’s house. If anything happened, it would be easier to talk about it at home than outside.
Moreover, this restaurant was not much different from the local restaurants in Su City. The decoration was neither grand nor flamboyant. It was different from the luxurious Su City she had imagined.
Liang Jie felt depressed. Did Liang Wen borrow a loan again?
Her heart tightened. If that was the case, then what happened next would not be easy.
Liang Wen had called to order. He was afraid that Liang Jie would be reluctant to spend money when she saw the high price. Soon, the waiter began to serve tea.
Liang Jie waited for a long time for the menu. When she saw the waiter was still slowly serving tea, she was furious. She couldn’t help but mutter in a low voice, “What lousy place? There’s no menu!”
Little Gu heard it and knew that Liang Jie was unhappy, so he explained to Liang Jie in a friendly manner, “President Liang has arranged everything for us! It won’t be bad, don’t worry.”
It was an unintentional word of comfort, but it became a fire medicine primer to Liang Jie.
Liang Jie almost jumped up from the table, “What?! Do you think I haven’t eaten anything good before? Although I’m a country bumpkin, my brother is a big boss in Jiang City!”
She pointed at Little Gu’s nose and said, “You’re fired tomorrow!”
Little Gu felt both helpless and amused. Seeing the customers beside him were looking over, he did not want to attract too much attention, so he smiled apologetically, “Okay, okay. Since Sister Liang said so, I’ll be fired, okay?”
Liang Jie glared at him. This kind of person who worked for a living was really shameless.
Liang Wen was really busy at the construction site. He had been working since the morning, but he still had not made any progress. The work was pressing down on him, and he really could not get away. He called Qu Zhi and told her to eat first. He would be a little late.
Qu Zhi’s company was not far away. Although she was busy, she still had time for a meal.
As soon as she arrived, she saw that the atmosphere was very awkward. Qu Zhi’s gaze was on Liang Jie’s table.
Liang Jie’s neck was still stretched as she looked out of the window. Little Gu’s ears were red, but he was still smiling. He was busy talking to Xiao Yi and making the child happy.
“Sister, long time no see.” Qu Zhi felt a headache coming on.
Why did she have to give up all her work to come over for this meal?
“Oh.” Liang Jie placed one hand on the table and stared out of the window.
It was as if she was the boss.
“Aunt Qu Zhi!” Xiao Yi called her sweetly. Liang Jie glared at her and she fell silent again.
“Hello, Xiao Yi. Are you hungry? Auntie will get them to serve the dishes.”
“What? My Brother isn’t here yet!” Liang Jie’s voice was too loud. Almost at the same time, the atmosphere became stiff again.
“Madam, please lower your voice.” The waiter reminded her softly and turned to ask Qu Zhi, “Are you ready to serve the dishes?”
“Serve what dishes!” Liang Jie roared and turned to Qu Zhi, “If my brother doesn’t come, I won’t eat a single bite!”
“There’s one more person coming later. You can serve the dishes now.” Qu Zhi acted as if she did not hear anything and spoke gently to the waiter.
“Xiao Yi, are you here to buy clothes in Jiang City this time?” Qu Zhi smiled as she stroked Xiao Yi’s ponytail.
The child didn’t dare to make a sound. She just nodded and shook her head slightly.
“Auntie will go with you, okay?” Qu Zhi knew that things weren’t as simple as they seemed.
“None of your business.” Liang Jie rolled her eyes.
“Sis,” Qu Zhi smiled, “The hospital is far from here. Don’t make your eyes sick by rolling it too much.”
