She Has Three Little Treasures: Fake Heiress, Yet Captures The Tycoon's Heart-Chapter 951: The Pleasure of Being Above Others Is Simply Wonderful
"Ridiculous! Useless! Trash!" Uncle Coleman reprimanded angrily, his fury manifesting in the way he paced around the room. "Our own young lady has been kidnapped, what’s the use of these people? They’re so useless they might as well cut their own throats to stop wasting air!"
The man, hearing this, lowered his head even more, a flash of ice and rage passing through his eyes.
He thought this old fool must have forgotten that he himself, compared to him and to those servants who were captured and interrogated, wasn’t of any significantly higher status!
Clearly, the old fool had forgotten.
Ever since Nameless ascended as the master of The Dark Tower and respectfully regarded him for the favor of previous care, Uncle Coleman gradually transformed from a cautious servant to a man of assumed authority like a lord.
He had already forgotten his once careful demeanor, forgotten the difficulties of the past. Being called Old Master Coleman so often, he truly began to believe himself a lord, a senior to the master.
Otherwise, how would he dare interfere in the master’s marital affairs, even going so far as to stir the young lady’s heart?
If not for this, the young lady wouldn’t have lost her mind, forcing them to clash with the Reed Family, nor would she have exposed both The Hades Clan and The Dark Tower, leaving not a single survivor among his brothers, except him.
What hurt him more was that his family, and the families of those brothers, were still under the control of Insect Venom, and it was approaching the time to take Suppressing Pills again.
After his tirade, Uncle Coleman, noticing that the man remained obediently kneeling without a hint of dissatisfaction, felt somewhat soothed.
No wonder everyone strives for power; this feeling of being on top is so good that once you’re there, you never want to come down.
If he wanted to remain in authority, Claire Lowell was the opportunity he must seize, and only a naive and uninformed lady like her could be easily controlled.
Uncle Coleman looked down at the man from his pedestal: "Go find the young lady’s whereabouts now. If you can’t find her, don’t bother coming back."
The man remained kneeling on the ground.
Seeing this, Uncle Coleman furrowed his brows in displeasure: "What are you waiting for? Get going!"
The man kept his head down with an expression of deference: "Lord Coleman, I have a vague suspicion about who took the young lady."
"Who?"
"The only person capable of freely entering and exiting The Dark Tower Headquarters, and taking Miss Lowell away without alarming anyone else, can only be one person."
Uncle Coleman was momentarily stunned, then responded: "You mean the master."
"Ever since the young lady disappeared, after thinking it over, only the master’s men could have such capabilities."
Hearing this, Uncle Coleman nodded approvingly: "Well said." He looked at the man with a newfound satisfaction: "At least you have some loyalty to your young lady."
The man lowered his eyelids: "It’s what I should do. Lord Coleman, what should we do next? Rescuing the young lady from the master’s hands won’t be easy. Furthermore, rescuing Miss Lowell isn’t even the hardest part."
Instinctively, Uncle Coleman asked: "Then what is the hardest part?"
"Getting the master to marry the young lady," the man said softly. "Since the master had someone quietly take away the young lady, it shows he has no intention of marrying Miss Lowell."
Uncle Coleman nodded: "You put it well. Nevertheless, the young lady must be rescued. However, I need to make some other arrangements so that the marriage agreement set by the old master will count."
The man wasn’t surprised by Uncle Coleman’s words.
If Uncle Coleman were willing to give up so easily, he wouldn’t have caused so much trouble.
The master’s respect for him, and the flattery from others, had long made Uncle Coleman forget his original intentions and duties. Involving himself in the master’s marital affairs, Uncle Coleman naturally would not give up.
