Kai didn't understand why he had started to crack, especially when his skin was never dry or ashy. Of course, this meant that his existence was being erased, and that scared the shit out of him.

However, Leo didn't appear and save the day, so this told Kai that everything that was happening to him wasn't something that was going to kill him.

Even after coming to that realization, Kai didn't like the feeling of his existence being 'erased' because he didn't feel as if he were evolving or getting stronger.

So, he fell asleep. He turned off his mind and let the process happen. He would wake up when everything was done.

'Hmm? Is it done now?' Kai wondered. He could feel himself existing again, so he assumed his body came back into existence. However, this wasn't the case.

"Holy shit! I'm in my spirit form right now. Hmm, or would this actually be my true form since Deities' physical forms are just shells for their true selves? Whatever, I'm a spirit right now."

Kai didn't know how or why he was a spirit at the moment, but when he saw himself sitting down, he understood why.

"My body is being rebuilt! I finally understand it! Haha! Epic. Hmm. It's actually pretty weird seeing myself like this. I mean, a clone is one thing, but this is like me going from being a caterpillar to a butterfly. I'm fucking cocooning or something."

Piece by piece, Kai watched his body get put back into place, stronger than before. He could feel his own soul getting more powerful as well during the process.

Soon, Kai's entire body was rebuilt, and his soul was sucked back into his body.

"Whoa! Jeez! That felt weird. Holy shit! This power! I can feel the Progenitor Decay as a part of my being, not just an energy I can use! I've never felt so powerful before. And my primordial abilities have been significantly strengthened. Heh, I can even beat up my sisters now, I think."

Kai got up, took a step, and fell out of the pocket dimension as his existence was so powerful that simply taking a step shattered the reality of the pocket dimension.

"Oh. Let's get a hang of this power first."

---

"So you save them but not your sons, huh? Favortism at its finest." Aion chuckled as he felt Leo's presence rescue Andromeda and Medea to ensure that they didn't die.

Aion turned his attention back to the pocket dimension where his mother was, but noticed that it was gone. But this only made him chuckle. Aion grabbed the void that was space, then rotated the entire universe, making the space where the pocket dimension was appear right in front of him.

Just like last time, he broke through the dimension and entered the place.

"Greetings, family! I'm Aion, Kai's older brother. This means that I'm your brother-in-law. Ohhh! We have little ones here. Hello, I'm your uncle." Aion said with a happy expression.

"More like Dick-in-law." Gwen frowned

"So rude. But I like your energy." Aion winked

"Ew."

"What do you want?" Cassie asked, standing in front of Kai's entire family.

"Wha do you mean? I'm here to see my family. I can't do that?"

Cassie frowned and raised her hand to attack. But right as she did, Aion rushed forward to grab it, then headbutted her out of the way.

All of Kai's wives took a defensive position and attacked Aion with their power, but he brushed it off with ease.

"Ohh! Nice. Too bad that did nothing." His kind expression shifted to that of a demon, and he attempted to behead all of them there.

Thankfully, Cassie reacted in time, blocking the attack, then kicking Aion out of the pocket dimension again. This time, she followed him outside.

"Mother, go back. You're not going to do anything to me as a clone."

"You're a disgrace!"

"You raised me to be this way."

"I never raised you to kill your siblings."

"Meh, casualties of war."

"A war that YOU started."

"Does that matter?"

"I can't believe someone like you is my son!"

"Oh, don't be like that, mother. Once I'm done, all of your children, except me, will be dead. Then, we can celebrate me becoming an only child."

"You're sick."

"Thanks. I think I'm pretty cool as well."

Cassie clapped her hands, blowing everything around them into space dust. Planets crumbled, stars exploded, asteroids were vaporized, and Aion was still perfectly fine. A golden barrier prevented him from being affected by her power.

"What?!"

"Oh, check this out. The lion locket that Dad gave me is merged into my being now. This means that I have a bit of his power within me. So, do your worst, mother."

Cassie frowned. She had more than enough power to wipe out Aion, but she knew that he would be able to come back. So, she opted on subduing him until Kai came, but little did she know that her youngest son was already here.

"Hey, Mom." Kai greeted Cassie.

"Kai?!"

"In the flesh."

"Haha! Kai! It's so nice of you to make it! Welcome."

"How's everything?" Kai ignored Aion and continued to speak to his mother.

"Aion nearly killed your family. I saved them, of course. You're welcome."

"Thanks. Such a reliable mother. Oh man, how amazing it is to have your family to rely on. I wouldn't dare kill my siblings or parents."

Aion didn't like that jab Kai threw at him, but he allowed it, smirking instead of getting angry.

"Son, be careful. Your brother is stronger than he seems. He's way more powerful than he was billions of years ago."

"Heh, don't worry. I wont lose."

"Are you sure?" Aion asked with a grin.

"Pretty sure," Kai responded, flying over to his brother.

"Let's chat." Aion snapped his fingers and relocated Kai and himself to the opposite end of the universe.

"We could have spoken where we were. No need to show off." Kai frowned

"I wanted us to be alone."

"Sorry, but I'm not into you that way."

"Shut up or I will slit your throat right now."

"Alright. I'll listen to your nonsense for a bit."

"Do you know about the universal reset?"
