"And Rose? How is she?" That was the first thing that I asked as soon as they came out.

They were caught off guard by my question, but they quickly reassured me.

"Both the mother and child are fine. There are no problems at all with them."

It was only then that I let out a sigh of relief.

The prime minister and chancellor came forward as if they wanted to congratulate me, but I just ignored them as I went forward to enter the birthing room.

But once again, Rose's subordinates stopped me.

"What is the meaning of this?" I asked in a cold voice while looking at them with narrowed eyes.

Both of them couldn't help taking a step back when they heard this, but then they said, "Please wait a moment before going in. Her majesty needs some time to recover before seeing you and the child needs to be checked carefully before we can let it see you."

I narrowed my eyes even more when I heard this, but what they said next stopped me. "It's for their own health."

I couldn't argue with this just to satisfy my own curiosities.

If it was necessary, then I would wait.

It was better to be safe than sorry after all.

But that didn't mean that I would back down that easily as I stood there in front of the door and said, "Tell me the moment that they're done and I can go in."

I stood there as if I wouldn't back down no matter what.

Eventually, the two of them had no choice but to nod in agreement and they went back inside to check on the situation.

During this time, the prime minister and the chancellor said a few things to me while patting me on the shoulder, but I just didn't hear anything that they said. All of my attention was on the room in front of me since I wanted to see my wife and child as soon as possible.

I didn't know how to react when I heard this, but then I suddenly gritted my teeth and said, "What is the current situation? How are they right now?"

The two messengers that came over were surprised and caught off guard by how fierce my words were before slowly stuttering, "Both of them are fine right now. They're currently just in the beginning part of their labour."

I gave a nod before turning around to bang on the door in front of me.

Rose's two subordinates immediately came out when they heard this and glared at me as if they were unhappy with this, but I didn't care as I said, "Call out the priestesses immediately."

They were skilled subordinates that had been carefully raised by Rose, so they were able to recognize that something was off. Once they saw the two messengers that were behind me, they didn't hesitate to run in to call the priestesses out.

Once they were out, I had the two messengers lead the way.

Haley and Cecilia were both in their own birthing ward, so we had to divide the priestesses in half so that both sides could get some.

I didn't know where to go first, but eventually I decided to go see Haley first.

It wasn't that I was partial towards her, it was that I was more assured in Cecilia because she was a powerful knight. Her body should be more than strong enough to protect her during this.

That was why I was more worried about Haley since she wasn't as strong as Cecilia.

It took several hours of checking on both the mothers and the children, but I was finally able to see them.

All three of them gave birth to healthy children and I could see the resemblance that they had to their mothers. It was the shape of their faces, their eyes, their noses, and their lips.
