Yet no matter what, the Academy’s atmosphere was tense as ever. The day following this night that was sleepless for many would be the Court Case held by the Eternal Court to finally expose who was killing the various students in the Academy, and how they did it.

Yet, in the midst of this tension, an unnerving sight could be found.

The [ Origin Demonic Prison Pagoda ] was quiet, almost too quiet. Nothing could be heard as one walked the dark, eerie hallway. Even the scariest horror movies could not replicate the aura in the surrounding area.

Deep, deep inside the Prison Pagoda held a secret room. Outside of the room were Pangu, Columbia Sylvia and Blaze, silently and patiently standing outside as they awaited the door to open.

However, once someone entered that room they would see an unnerving sight. Splatters of blood and chunks of internal organs were splashed all across the room, from the ground, to the walls, to dripping from the ceiling. Limbs and bones could be seen everywhere, and at the center of it all was a men in a tragic condition, obviously from torture.

"ARGGGGHHH!" The man let out a blood-curling, nerve wracking scream that could terrifying even the most horrifying of monsters. A deep primal fear in his eyes as he looked at the person opposite him, Damon.

Damon had been torturing every piece of information he could’ve gotten out of this man for the last couple hours ever since he was brought here after Damon "kidnapped" him from that secret meeting.

"Are you sure that’s all you know about the conspiracy against Demons." Damon said, his voice chilling unlike his usually calm but confident tone. This tone of voice was laced with a bone-chilling killing intent that washed over the prisoner, sending shivers down their spine.

"ARRGGGHH! Yes~Yes I promise that’s everything I know....Please no more." The man spoke in-between his horrific screams of pain and despair as he looked into Damon’s eyes.

The methods of torture inflicted onto him were so cruel and horrifying, some of which he had never seen or heard of before in his life. It truly sent a fear deep into his bones of Damon and his abilities.

"Hmm, well I guess I can finish everything up." Damon said, snapping his fingers. A green, glow filled with vitality washed across the room and poured into the prisoner’s body, healing all of his wounds, recreating his destroyed limbs and more until he was back at full health.

’Thankfully, the Prison Pagoda is enchanted with Celestial Healing Spells!’ Damon thought in his mind as he looked at the fully healed prisoner.

Then, Damon clapped his hands, and a pale, white and black ghastly flame appeared in his hands.

The man had stopped screaming, instead staring terrifying at the flame that appeared in Damon’s hands. He felt a deep, primal fear of the flame not just in his bones and blood, but deep into his very Soul. He could sense his soul terrifyingly shivering in fear and trepidation after the aura of that flame appeared in the room.

"Tsk, this is the [ Archaic Flame of Despair ]. It won’t hurt your physical body, but only targets your soul. The flame entraps your soul and burns it tyrannically. The burning prison of destruction turns into a hellscape where creatures beyond our reality would torture your soul, breaking and restoring your sanity with retaining your memories and knowledge in an endless torment until I remove the flame and summon you. The time ratio is 1:100,000, so good luck." Damon said.

Then Damon tossed the [ Archaic Flame of Despair ] on the prisoner’s body, sending him to that despair filled hellscape and walking out of the room, meeting Pangu, Sylvia, Blaze and Columbia waiting on him.

"Well, what information did you get." Pangu said, his eyes filled with a horrifying rage that threatened to annihilate anyone who dared to get into his bad graces.

Damon chuckled and responded, "Everything....I got everything!"

The Eternal Court, a powerful organization in the world, yet one with very little desire for power.

The Eternal Court was formed with cooperation with numerous of the most influential Families, Academies, Clans and Races. The Court was formed after multitudes of incident with regards to powerful races and clans engaging in war.

To put it simply, War was costly. Millions or Billions of lives would be directly or indirectly lost every time 2 Kingdoms, Empires, Races, Families or more go to war, and many natural and non-renewable resources will be depleted. Not only that, due to war, many exceptional geniuses who can aid in the battle against the Abyss will be lost, leading to a weakened overall combat power.

Thus, the various powers at play came up with the idea of establishing The Eternal Court, pooling together their resources to establish a Court whose mission was to maintain order in the continent as a fair and impartial party.

Thus The Eternal Court was established to mediate and judge conflicts within the continent that could result in large scale war, death and destruction and all members of the coalition were subject to its ruling irrespective of their ranks. To ensure fairness, the members of the courts would only come from small families or unranked families who have little to no authority or even orphans.

Of course, smaller cases were ignored. Only cases that could result in large scale death and loss of meaningful combat power or geniuses were considered, such as the one at the Academy regarding the Demon Conspiracy.

Of course, The Eternal Court’s presence wasn’t absolute. No matter what, absolute power is absolute, and even if you add every single member of The Eternal Court together, their combat power still couldn’t match the depth and wealth of strength and particularly, the DemiGods the various powers had.

Thus, if push really came to shove, war could still happen, especially due to such a large scale conspiracy involving multiple powers such as the one currently happening at the Academy.

Yet even with that knowledge, The Eternal Court has managed to mediate most conflicts due to other races keeping others in check.

Yet, Damon knew that if Demons were found guilty of the deaths, even if it was false. The Eternal Court would not be able to stop the wrath of the various powers whom he lost valuable younger generational members due to death involving this scheme, thus he needed a surefire plan to secure victory.

The darkness of nighttime had swiftly changed to daytime, and now the entire surrounding city was filled to the brim with persons entering to go and watch the trial of The Eternal Court.

Meanwhile, the courtroom was nice and quiet. A sleek layout with comfortable chairs for everyone to be seated was present. Although from the outside, it looked like a medium sized building, using spacial arrays, every courtoom was the size of a Football Field, with tens of thousands of persons in possible attendance, and many more watching the live stream.

Pangu and Columbia could be seen in the crowd, alongside the various family members of everyone who had one of their family or friends killed by the Nether Dream Abyssal Emperor.

The Judges were seated, emitting a powerful aura at the ArchMage Realm. Although no-where near the peak of existence, it was still very admirable.

Blaze and Sylvia sat in the seats of the prosecutors, with many documents ready as they awaited the court case to begin, ready to expose whom had conducted all of these senseless killings.

After 30 minutes of waiting and everyone settling down, a serene silence filled the room as all of the jury had arrived, and finally, the Judge said,

"~Knock~Knock-- I know announce, The Eternal Court Case regarding the deaths of various geniuses over the past couple hundred years in Austonia Academy will now,

BEGIN!"
