SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS-Chapter 833 - 831: GETTING TESTED 2
Chapter 833: Chapter 831: GETTING TESTED 2
"Hehe, you might find this a bit funny, but it really happened. You know, I have recently started working here. I studied in Srad to become a nurse and graduated last year. However, I was failing to get a job," the nurse who went by the name Claire emotionally said, recalling how tough it was for her back then.
She was born into an ordinary family, and she relied on scholarships to finish high school. Thankfully, she was studious. Although she wasn’t the best student but her grades were much better compared to others.
After graduating from the nursing school. She thought that she would get a position at the affiliated hospital that the nursing school associated with, but little did she know that in life without connection you are nothing.
Claire was desperate for a job, and yet the job didn’t seem to favor her at all. She dropped her CVs everywhere in Srad city and yet she got rejected.
After so many rejections, she lost all hope and dragged her ass back home – Frin City.
Upon arrival, she dropped her CVs at every hospital and clinic she could find. However, months passed without any news from the places she applied for.
In the end, she simply gave up hope and started working part-time at a convenience store.
It was around that time when she came across short videos of Diamond. She was intrigued that there was such a woman in Frin City who was living that large. In fact, she was very envious and felt sour upon seeing the way Diamond lived.
Trying to find some flaws she could complain about, she started following Diamond and then one day she heard Diamond talking about how a person should always stand up for himself or herself. In life, no one would do that for you.
Before you get the final rejection, it means that there is hope. It was an inspiring session and looking back at herself and how she easily gave up, Claire felt ashamed of herself.
So, two months ago, she mustered her courage despite knowing that she might not make it. She printed her CVs once again and dropped them off at the hospitals, including Elsher Private Hospital where she was working.
Of course, it was her wishful thinking when she applied there. After all, the hospital employed the best. She only had experience gained during the interning period. How could she be picked?
But heavens weren’t blind as two weeks later, she received a call from the hospital asking her to come for an interview.
That night, she didn’t sleep well, as she was very excited. Although an interview didn’t guarantee getting employed, it was still a good thing for her. After all, previously she didn’t even receive a call, only rejections. How could she not feel that way?
So, she went for an interview and truthfully answered every question they asked her. When she left the hospital, honestly, she felt like she had busted the interview and that she wasn’t going to be accepted, but two days later, she received the good news.
After getting a temporary contract signed, she was assigned to the department she was at. It’s been around six weeks and yet she was now manning the table by herself. Compared to before, when she had to assist other nurses, Claire was now a veteran.
As long as she continued her job wholeheartedly and without messing around. It was guaranteed that when three months came to an end, she would be signing long-term. How wasn’t that good news?
Ten minutes later, Diamond exclaimed in wonder after listening to all that. She finally understood why Claire said that it was thanks to her.
Who would have known that her endless chatter and nagging would encourage someone deeply like that?
Suddenly, she felt motivated and even wanted Claire to snatch this job and pursue her dream even further, and she knew how to help her.
"Claire!" she called out to her and the other beamed at her shyly, answering, "Yes!"
Diamond smiled at her as she asked, "Is it possible for me to do a broadcast here?"
"Huh!" Claire was confused when she heard that. She blinked puzzlingly at Diamond.
Diamond, upon seeing that, elaborated further. "I just feel like this place is a bit deserted. So, I wanted to broadcast and spread awareness. If you don’t know, can you ask whoever is in charge? You can just tell them that I want to do it."
When Claire heard that, her eyes sparkled as she connected the dots and she hurriedly stood to her feet.
"I will be back in a moment!" she excitedly said before dashing away.
Diamond chuckled as she watched Claire in a white uniform flying away, making others curious why she was like that.
After Claire left, she was the only person remaining there. She picked up the pamphlets and started reading. While she was doing so, Gael finished his examination and when he came out, he spotted Diamond at the table.
He didn’t go to her but found a chair to sit where he could see her properly.
After that, he took out his phone and started taking photos of her.
While that was happening, Claire reached the Head Nurse’s office. Thankfully, the head nurse wasn’t busy at that moment, so she managed to see the other.
"I hope you have a good reason why you aren’t at your table!" the nurse coldly said, upon seeing the newbie.
Claire wryly smiled when she heard that, but didn’t let it get to her head. She hurriedly answered and explained why she was there.
When the head nurse heard that. Her eyes lit up. She took out her phone and searched for news related to Diamond and when she saw who the other person was. She was excited.
She hurriedly called her superiors and, upon explaining what was happening, the other party told her to wait.
Once that was done, the two of them left the office and headed to where Diamond was. When they got there, Diamond was in the middle of chatting with a few girls and she wasn’t wearing the mask anymore. Her face was clear for all to see.
"It might seem embarrassing to go for testing, but girls, you hold your lives in your hands. So, what if you are embarrassed? When you get sick and have to line up every month to get pills and injections, wouldn’t that hurt more than sparing a short moment to get your blood drawn?
Moreover, even if you are found sick. As long as you start treatment early, you can still live. When it comes to death, it doesn’t select. The old, the young, the rich and the poor. We are all subjected to illness.
So rather than waiting until you are nearly dying, better to prevent it early. You ....."
Diamond was so engrossed in spreading awareness to the group of girls whom she knew weren’t even on the floor to get tested, but rather they were her fans who were in the hospital.
As she was busy with them, the doctor whom the head nurse had called also arrived, and it so happened that he overheard Diamond convincing others to get tested.
Honestly, it wasn’t easy for people to voluntarily get tested. There was that fear of the unknown that just grapples people. Even as doctors, it’s never an easy task to be tested as well. After all, the mind is always having these wild thoughts.
What if I am found sick? Then what?
What would others think about me?
People are always concerned about others, and that’s not something that would easily go away. It was surprising to find that such a famous influencer would openly and boldly talk about such topics while exposing the fact that she had come for testing.
She was truly bold. He couldn’t help but like her.
He came down to check and observe her before calling the higher-ups. However, after seeing her in action, he no longer hesitated but made several calls straightaway.
An hour later, Diamond found herself sitting across a good-looking woman with a stern expression. She was stoic, and Diamond could tell that she wasn’t cold-hearted. That’s just how she was. After all, other people can be bubbly. So, what was wrong with people like this lady?
While Diamond was observing the woman, the woman was observing Diamond as well.
She was busy with her work when she received an urgent call from her nephew, who told her that Diamond was at the hospital. It wasn’t like she didn’t know who the other party was.
In fact, everyone in the family knew about her. Just like how in every big family, they were clamoring to find ways of befriending her and getting to know what her deal was exactly. Her family wasn’t excluded. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
To think that the target brought herself to their family’s hospital. How could she not come in person?
As the person in charge of the hospital, this huge pie piece fell on her and she could already picture how the elders in the family would react.
After sizing each other for a while, words were finally spoken.
Diamond learnt that this woman was the CEO of the hospital, named Anaya Elsher. She was Waylon’s aunt. The sister of his father. Anyway, through their chat, Anaya asked about her intentions regarding what she had suggested, and Diamond was very truthful about it.
"It’s not about money. Just consider this me doing a favor to my fans!" besides, she heard from Andrea that there were photos of her already trending and it was now known what she was doing at the hospital.
Of course, she couldn’t blame those who shared the photos or the hospital. It wasn’t like they were monitoring everyone all the time.
That would be too immoral, right?
