SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS-Chapter 846 - 844: EVELYN MIRAE
Chapter 846: Chapter 844: EVELYN MIRAE
After the brief meeting with Donald, Diamond returned to the hall, but before she could meet with the girls, she was called by the auction house staff.
Diamond didn’t fear any man, especially in such a place. She had so many tricks to protect herself.
She followed the staff who brought her to an office where she met with Evelyn.
"Hello, Ms. Diamond. I am Evelyn Mirae, the owner of the Mirae auction house. I am sorry for calling you abruptly like this," Evelyn said as she greeted Diamond.
Diamond shook hands with Evelyn, a smile on her face. Wondering what the other was up to.
"It’s nothing to be stressed about. I am pleased to meet you as well."
Evelyn smiled when she heard that and offered Diamond a seat.
Diamond sat down comfortably and looked at the other party, waiting for her to speak her mind.
"I have an invitation here to one of the biggest auctions in Dielas City. I was wondering if you would like it?" Evelyn didn’t disappoint her as she went straight to the point.
’How come these auctions are like vegetables on the market now?’
Otherwise, why was she hearing about auctions this and that in just a month?
However, she was interested. After all, it was an auction in the capital city. It was a place where there were hidden big shots and powerhouses. Who didn’t like going there?
Diamond didn’t bush around the bush as well but responded, "I will be honored to receive the invitation but what do you want from me?"
Evelyn chuckled when she got such a direct response but she liked it. It was tiring speaking to foxy people.
"Just consider this as me making a friend. I hope that you won’t mind, Ms. Diamond," Evelyn responded, earnest in her words.
After all, she might seem like the one with an upper hand but she knew a lot that other people didn’t know and she wanted to gain an early advantage.
Diamond’s lips curled upwards when she heard that. She was reminded about how Evelyn might know about her OASIS membership.
’What a clever woman!’
Fortunately for Evelyn, she was someone who liked making friends. As long as no harm was done to her, she could make millions of friends.
"Sure. Sure. I love the sound of this. How about you call me Diamond and I call you Eve? You wouldn’t mind that between friends, right?"
Since she had decided, Diamond adjusted her mindset and readily accepted this offer.
Evelyn sighed with relief when she heard that. A smile involuntarily appeared on her face.
"Haha, that’s great. This had been a good day!"
"Haha, indeed. A pleasing one and one that I won’t easily forget!"
The two spoke cheerfully, exchanging praises, but didn’t go any deeper. They exchanged numbers. After all, how could they be friends without contacting each other?
After their chat, Evelyn escorted Diamond to where the girls were waiting for her. Diamond cheerfully bade the other goodbye before taking the girls with her to find the adults.
By the time they found the adults, they were also waiting for them and ready to leave.
Portia left with her father reluctantly, while Diamond joined the Ace family in the limousine before being driven home.
On the way to the villa, the limousine was filled with animated laughter. Diamond and the girls were busy checking online news. Reading posts and comments was very funny. They were all in a great mood. The trip back to the villa wasn’t boring at all.
However, for some, it wasn’t that pleasing at all.
For example, Donald by the time he got to the hotel. He didn’t bother to glance at his seductive secretary, who was his mistress.
After Alaine got pregnant, she was a bit difficult to handle. The pregnancy was a tough one. She was also getting closer to giving birth. Where would he vent his needs?
He happened to have a greedy and vain assistant. Seeing her so beautiful, he promoted her, and she became his mistress. She knew her place despite her vainness.
However, he wasn’t in the mood to fool around with her. After fleeing from Diamond, he received an email he wished he hadn’t received, but he got it.
It was a warning and one that came with evidence he didn’t know still existed. That proved how omnipotent Diamond was. No matter how much he hides, as long as she wants, she could end him.
It was a good thing that he apologized and didn’t do anything else after that.
However, the fear that she instilled in him was so big. He didn’t think that he would see her ever again. Otherwise, his secrets would be exposed to his father. After coming to terms that what he has was important, he no longer wanted to sabotage that.
Now he was very anxious. He wanted to fly back home as soon as possible and deal with any remnant evidence he didn’t deal with. Who knows when someone else would come across it?

In another hotel room, Kian was in the middle of looking at posts about Diamond, still forcing his mind to remember where he had seen her.
The more he looked at her, the more he was certain that he knew her. He just needed to dig out the memories, and he was willing to do so even if it hurt him.
As he was busy tormenting himself, Kian didn’t notice that a hazy figure suddenly appeared behind him. While scrolling through the posts, the figure touched his head, and Kian suddenly groaned in pain.
He let go of the mouse and pressed his temples in an attempt to kill the pain, but that didn’t work as the pain intensified.
"Ah!" he cried out as he felt a sharp pain hit him before he slumped on the desk. His face hit the laptop, and several pages popped up on the screen, flashing.
The figure didn’t remain hazy but manifested physically forming into a familiar entity. It was the fairy sister who rarely leave the Golden Space.
"Tsk. Tsk. You have a stubborn consciousness, right? Let’s see if you will continue thinking about what you shouldn’t after this!" Her sarcastic voice sounded in the room as she placed her hands on top of his head, and a white mist formed before disappearing into his head.
After a while, the fairy sister smiled in triumph and then moved quickly to the laptop and waved her hand. After doing so, she vanished as if she weren’t there.
Moments later, Kian woke up from his deep sleep with a confused expression.
"How did I fall asleep?" he mumbled, feeling like he had missed something.
However, after racking his brains for an answer and finding none, he only sighed as he reached for the mouse.
"I need to rest properly. I haven’t been resting lately." Thinking about how hard he had been working in trying to search for the person who massacred his mercenary group and stole all the money.
Unknown to him, the memories he had been trying to remember were completely erased. And as for when he would get them again. That would be left to fate.

Back at the auction house, Evelyn didn’t leave for home but remained in the office, grinning like an idiot, looking at the money transaction that had been reported.
To think that at some point, a few years ago, having a million in her account was a blessing, and yet now, she was a billionaire. It wasn’t easy for her to reach this stage.
At some point, she felt like giving up, but when she thought about how other people were making it big and yet she was struggling, she vowed that at whatever cost, she was going to make it. Thankfully, her perseverance paid off.
Not only did she become a billionaire, but she also got invited by a secret club. How could she not be excited?
She even met and talked to someone of a higher rank from the club. How could she remain still?
She simply wished that the future would remain this good. Even if it doesn’t work out the way that she wants. At least let her not fall from grace and be humiliated. She wanted to love in richness without returning to the life of a pauper. freewebnσvel.cøm
When she thought about how she once lived in the slums, attending these public schools where teachers didn’t even bother to teach well but simply attended for the sake of marking the register.
How she had to beg, do all kinds of jobs to have food on the table? The many times she endured humiliation for the sake of earning a penny?
The times she got spat on and had these rich ladies look at her as if she were rubbish, just because their sons were interested in her. It wasn’t easy for her to be honest.
Evelyn comforted herself.
She wasn’t doing anything wrong. She was right, and as long as she continues to maintain her lifestyle, she isn’t going to stop. After all, it took a lot of courage for her to walk on that path.
Without it, could she be the person that these people fawn over?
Besides, if she could reach where she was today with what she had done. Then what about the likes of Diamond? What kind of shady things did she do to get where she was without attracting the law enforcement?
She could already imagine, and the thought of it made her shudder with terror.
