Chapter 155: The Tale Of The First Magical Vampire {3}

Young Nicklaus was back to the Castle before he could even know it, back within his room unseen, he turned to the view of Rome now covered in snow, he bit his bottom lip, he went too far for there was no going back now. Great! His mood was instantly out of control after he heard what that seer said, she was able to read his fortune which was first in history and not just that, her mention of him being able to reach the Holy Library. The Holy Library, it was nothing but history for he has always heard of it. And he knew she wasn’t lying.

His door instantly barged open and he whirled, his caretaker walked in and the look she had on and he knew, they found out what happened, the weather gave him out. She cleared the path as a very elderly man walked in, standing upright in spite of how old he was. He looked stable and coordinated.

Seeing the elder vampire, Nicklaus knew his secret was out.

"Brother, did you really sneak out into mortal society last night?" Celeste asked for the tenth time and he wasn’t about to answer her, she was always bothersome, he just needed to focus on the scroll he helped himself with.

"I heard what you did with the weather last night... you ruin the festival for the Mortals, interesting" Alaric intoned, drawing a scroll out of the shelf.

"I rather not talk about it... this is study time let it remain so" Nicklaus said sternly, he got his mind clouded already.

"The elder scolded you didn’t he, I always hated the geezer, he’s always strict" Alaric said, picking up an apple on the tray and chewing on it before taking a seat beside Nicklaus.

"Tell me Nicklaus, were there any beautiful maidens out there? I’m curious to what the mortal ladies look like, for I only see elderly women here, they never let the other vampire in us due to their so called scared law"

"As usual interested in things you shouldn’t at your age" Nicklaus snapped.

"Come on now brother we maybe 5 but we’re certainly not stupid like a mortal 5 year old, our brain is older"

"I took a peak once too, zoomed in to be exact and saw children our age playing some game like a jump rope or something?" Celeste said tilting her head to the side in a mystery, she certainly did not understand why they would do such a thing. "... seems like what they do only is play at our age, weird isn’t it?"

"Of course sister, mortals are strange" Alaric with a smile on his lips.

"Seems I’m not the only one curious about mortals" Nicklaus remarked his burning gaze on the scroll he held.

"Whatever are you reading that got your mind covered" Alaric said observing the scroll, the times they have been here, he was engrossed with that particular scroll, curious he read the heading. "The Holy library?"

"The Holy library is said to be the base of knowledge?" Celeste said, raising an eyebrow. "Why read about that brother? We have been taught about that already, why go back to something we have learnt?"

Nicklaus sighed deeply, these two were obviously not gonna let him be in peace. "You wanna hear it fine!" he said practically growling. He knew he was chewing on nails by not telling them anything, they were all curious about him, all this was because they spend all the time together without engaging in other things, they were always self aware about themselves.

"Careful brother you might make it snow again with that weird sense of yours" Alaric intoned, he wasn’t sure Rome would appreciate yet another snow without consulting some fake witch who would give them non existent superstition to pry on, Mortals were always like that.

"I met a sprite" he announced, sighing in defeat, there was no going back now.

"A sprite? Here in the Mortal realm?" Celeste said, startled, seating up. They were always in their Realm so how come.

"Yes, she claimed she came to enjoy the festival and then she told me there was something about me that she might just be able to read my fortune"

"That’s not possible," Alaric said with wide eyes. "She must have deceived you"

"Hope she did not know who you were or else rumors will spread" Celeste said.

"No and No she didn’t and I could tell she was telling the truth. She saw something in my path, the Holy Library, the first and the last, she said"

They froze, their eyes wide, see? They were just as shocked as he was.

"I have tried to find any meaning to it through all this scroll but I can’t find a thing so I will ask..."

"The elder vampires", they finished for him.

"Even if you did, they might not be able to locate the library too. I mean none of them have ever seen it" Celeste said. "No one has"

"The border of all Realms could get you there" Alaric intoned.

They faced him. "If it was that easy Alaric then everyone would have gone to the border in hopes of finding it like a fish to a hook" Nicklaus noted.

"No brother think about it, she said you will be the first and last to get there.... think about it... the Border of the Realm is like the edge of the world, the most spiritual place in all the Realms, the one with the stronger connection, I think you might have the chance of getting there, if you are meant to find the Holy Library then I believe you will at that path, you might just be able to reach it"

Nicklaus’ eyes trembled at his words, he rarely supported him in anything and then now he does. And what he said made sense.

"Alaric is right, Nicklaus," Celeste said.

Alaric shrugged. "You got your fortune read, it will be stupid not to follow it"

"The elders won’t allow me set my foot out of this Castle, they will claim another thing with their stupid sacred law"

Celeste smirks. "That’s why you have siblings"

"It was with the help of my siblings I was able to get to the Holy Library" Nicklaus said with a smile against his lips.

I just listened eagerly to his tale, it was really interesting, I got to know him as just Nicklaus before he became the god of the vampire, Magnus. I couldn’t believe that was how they lived their youth, locked away because they had the grace of their ancestors and not allowed to set their foot outside the castle, it must have been really lonely even though he didn’t mention it. The elder Vampires were really strict, it seems like it was a good thing they were no longer around.

I pulled my knees to my chest. "And?" I argued, I was eager to know more. We were both now seated under one of the white trees, like we were having a picnic, my curiosity was getting wider and wider and I was eager to find out what the library was actually like.

"You truly want to know everything don’t you" Nicklaus mused staring down at me with those eyes of his, he was leaning against the tree branch, one of his knee up and his arm resting on it, in this position he seemed more godly than ever, I resist the urge to shift more close to him and kiss him wildly for that was all I could think about. But hearing more about his tale was more important.

"Yes husband now tell me everything"

Nicklaus chuckled. "Surely I did not come here to tell tales, I came here to spend time with my wife", he raised an eyebrow, gods not now! 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

"And you’re and I’m requesting you go on, I’m eager husband"

A sweet smile found his lips. "I know you’re," he said huskily.

"Ahem! well yes I’m but you know what I mean" I said with flushed cheeks, Nicklaus always had the way of bringing the shyness in me.

He made a hmm sound. "I will not continue not until you come close to me"

"What? I’m close!" I protested.

"Come here" he ordered with a finger moving as an action for me to come to him.

I hesitated, because if I did, it would end up in runs of pleasure and I won’t get to hear his tale any longer.

His eyes remained on me, daring me not to come, I gulped wondering what would happen if i didn’t, it might just end in another run of pleasure, I bit my bottom lip, my mind hammering in thoughts. His gaze remained on me, he was patient but I pondered for how long.

Sighing in defeat I moved to him, smuggling to his body, he wrapped his arm around me keeping me close, my head rested on his chest.

"Do not worry my love, I will try to remain as focus as I can"
