I seized up sharply as an agonizing jolt of pain erupted across my head, my left eye erupting as blood spurted out of my nostrils.

"Again, <Mana Pulse>. <Mana Pulse>, <Mana Pulse>, <MANA PULSE>, <MANA PULSE>, <MANA-...>!!!"

"<D-Demonic Art: Rewind>!" I sputtered frantically, wracked with excruciating pain...before turning back time by five seconds.

I spun around with a snarl as the pain disappeared, Kaivel Intrix coming to a halt before zipping across to his right as I unleashed a blast of Disintegration at him, shaving off a layer of flesh off his left side, before I let out a slow exhale to compose myself as he got some distance away from me.

Damn it...!

Just like Pause, Rewind can only be used once a day and consumes a large amount of Mana. It allows me to rewind time by five seconds, but I did not think I would be pushed into a position where I’d be forced to use it.

That Mana Pulse Skill, I cannot let him hit me with it again. The way it disrupted the flow of my Mana, I would not have been able to cast my Demonic Arts or other Skills if I hadn’t used Rewind.

I’ve used up a tremendous amount of my Mana, but the remainder is still fairly substantial, about a third of my full capacity.

More pressingly, I...I feel tired. Out of breath. It has been centuries since I’ve felt this way.

Having had to regenerate so much and so drastically in such quick succession, my physical energy has been drained significantly.

And it has not even been fifteen minutes since this battle started, I believe only about twelve minutes have passed.

Still, while I may not be at my best, I still outclass them by a significant margin, and their numbers have grown smaller.

The power boosts being used by Kaivel Intrix, Ariella Velle and Cleo Nova have time limits, and once those boosts wear off, they will pose far less of a threat.

Furthermore, I am not the only one who has been sapped of Mana and stamina. The same goes for all of them, as well.

While each of them have had more of a chance to catch their breaths since they’re fighting as a group and only a handful of them attack at the same time, presumably to avoid getting in each other’s way, while I’ve been fighting constantly, the tension and intensity of the battle has clearly worn them out more that they otherwise would be.

Now, then...it looks like they’re getting ready to attack again.

I shot across the air as a barrage of explosive projectiles came shooting towards me, before zipping down as Cleo Nova unleashed a sonic screech towards me, evading the blast of sound before whipping my weapons across as a swirling, intense blast of Negative Energy and crimson flames came shooting at me.

The blast dissipated and dispersed as I swung my weapons across it, killing its momentum, before I fired out a wide wave of Disintegration at Ariella Velle.

She shot higher up into the air with a pressurized burst of Negative Energy from her feet, zipping up and above my attack, before I flew away as Kaivel Intrix shot towards me, firing out a barrage of piercing Negative Energy projectiles.

I weaved through the air to evade them, before activating Reflection as he began to close in, several of his projectiles shooting back towards him.

He swiftly manifested a pair of white, misty jaws of energy, the Skill he calls Drain, swallowing up the projectiles as Raixel and the Dark Elf slipped behind me.

I unleashed a burst of Negative Energy around myself to blow them away before they could attack, before whipping my tail across and firing a slashing wave of Negative Energy towards Kaivel Intrix, who quickly flew away to evade it.

I spun around and shot towards Raixel and the Dark Elf, swerving across as Raixel spun around and whipped his tail towards me, evading it before grabbing the end of his tail, spinning him around before hurling him down towards the ground.

A deafening crash rang out as he slammed onto the ground, before I swung Dimension Breaker across as the Dark Elf unleashed a rapid blast of Ether at me, batting it away before lifting my gaze as he shot up higher and swooped down towards me, forming a blade of Ether and swinging it across at my head.

I swiftly thrust my spear forward, slicing through his blade and piercing into his hand. As the blade of my spear drove into his forearm, he unleashing a rapid, piercing beam of Ether at my head.

The beam grazed my right cheek as I tilted my head across, before I unleashed a concentrated blast of Negative Energy at his torso from my tail, blowing him away.

I veered back as explosive projectiles came shooting towards me, evading them before veering across the air as petrifying beams came shooting towards me, missing me and hitting the ceiling.

The two former Sentinels now fighting under Kaivel Intrix’s command may be powerful, but so long as I stay airborne, Medusa’s Petrification is my only concern.

She has no other ranged attacked and cannot fly, and Kanine’s flames have no effect on me, so she’s all but useless against a flying opponent.

As Cleo Nova unleashed a sonic screech from behind me, I swiftly flew up, before spinning and unleashing a shredding blast of Negative Energy as she fired a sticky spider net at me, my blast tearing it apart, before my gaze darted across to either side as Kaivel Intrix and Ariella Velle came charging in.

I zipped down as they both unleashed Negative Energy blasts in unison, their attacks colliding and canceling out.

As they began to veer down and chase after me, I started to take aim at them, before my eyes widened in surprise as they suddenly came to a halt and flew away, getting some distance, right as an explosive projectile hit my back and erupted, sending me hurtling across the air.

I gritted my teeth before sharply spreading out my wings to bring myself to a halt, unleashing a burst of Negative Energy around myself, before turning my attention to Ciel Campbell below with a growl.

Very well, then. She dies next.
