Skill Creation in the Fantasy World-Chapter 181: Dive into Danger.
Felix's shout echoed through the tunnel, grabbing everyone's attention, including the group that was returning to the base.
"Felix? What happened?", Keliot frowned and asked in confusion.
As Paul turned and walked back towards them to inquire if there was a problem, everyone heard Felix shout out loud in a hurry.
"We got enemies at our rear! Quick! Get ready to engage in battle!!"
He yelled at the top of his lungs and dashed towards the back of their group, his eyes widening at the sight of numerous silhouettes at the end of the tunnel from where his group of 10 including the traitor's group had arrived at the intersection.
Keliot, Roven, Morris, Selena and the others stood behind Felix, watching unfamiliar faces slowly appear before them.
"It's them.... They're from the Six Guilds.", Nicole muttered, his expression turning serious.
Keliot was quick to respond as he turned towards the rest of the group and commanded.
"Get ready to engage in battle!", he glanced at Paul and nodded his head. "Take the injured ones and go! We'll hold them back!"
Paul hesitated, glancing between the ones preparing for combat and the wounded people by his side.
He gritted his teeth and turned around, muttering in a whisper.
"... I must save these people first."
Without wasting another second, he led the people by his side deeper into the tunnel, moving towards the Two Guilds' base.
Meanwhile, Felix counted the number of enemies arriving towards them and looked for any others that were hidden elsewhere.
'They have exactly 143 people on their side. I don't know how many among them are at the Rank 3, but it shouldn't be less than 10.'
He glanced behind him at his people, and couldn't help but frown at the huge disparity of their numbers.
'And we only got a dozen of us here. Keliot, Morris and Nicole are the only ones at the Rank 3, but they're too exhausted to even be compared with the enemy's Rank 3s.'
His face turned darker when he glanced over his teammates, which reminded him of the earlier deaths of his comrades.
'Shit! What should I do!'
Felix clenched his fist hard, his eyes watching the figures of their enemies getting closer, his heartbeat beating faster and faster.
He took a deep breath and let it out slowly, before finally deciding as he turned his head to face the others.
"Guys! I'll hold them off using my skills. You all stay here and attack them with long-range attacks!"
"What-?!"
Before some of them could figure out what he was saying, Felix's body moved into the earth and disappeared in seconds.
"Felix!?", Keliot who was nearby heard his words loud and clear as he yelled out in anger and worry.
"WAIT- FELIX!!"
Roven and the others frowned as they looked around for Felix, but Steve twitched his lips as he muttered with a dumbfounded chuckle.
"He's gone.... to face them all alone... That idiot...."
Everyone widened their eyes in disbelief, not expecting Felix to just rush towards the enemy.
They didn't know if he was being brave and daring or just plain stupid and careless.
"Is he out of his mind?", Selena muttered under her breath, her pupils trembling.
Keliot gritted his teeth and turned to Nicole and Morris, his expression turning grim.
"We have to go help Felix, only the three of us. The rest of you stay here and carry out your long range attacks!"
"Wait! You shouldn't go!", Roven called out to them before the three could chase behind Felix.
Everyone turned to look at Roven, wondering why being the team leader of Felix, he didn't want them to go help him.
"Are you out of your mind, Roven?! We have to go help that idiot Felix!" Steve shouted, completely ignoring that he was supposed to stay behind here.
"I agree, we must help the kid.", Morris mumbled.
Keliot was too preoccupied to notice the underlying tone of Steve as he questioned Roven similarly in confusion and hurry.
"What do you mean, Roven?!"
Roven glanced at the end of the tunnel where their enemies were coming from, his eyes narrowing.
The figure of a silver-haired boy wreaking chaos appeared in his mind, fighting numerous monsters and saving his teammates, all while a calm smirk hanged at the corner of his lips.
"Felix wouldn't have gone if he wasn't confident in himself... That guy...", he paused, sweeping his gaze over the others. "He's way stronger than any of us, so if it's him, then..."
Roven looked back towards the tunnel, making the others follow his gaze.
"...maybe we'll survive."

Within the ground of the tunnel where a procession of people were marching in, Felix was busy planning a strategy.
'I need to take away their attention from the people at the intersection, even if it means I've to act as a bait....'
There was a simple way for him to take on this group of enemies, which was to harass them with long ranged attacks while he remained hidden in the ground or the walls of the tunnel.
But that would also mean the others at the intersection could become their target if they decided to divide their forces.
It seemed he needed to do something that would gain all their attention.
Felix checked with his map and swam towards the rear of the mob as quickly as possible.
'Here goes nothing! Earth Spikes!'
As he raced towards the rear, he started spamming earth spikes without a stop.
The ground beneath the group started reacting violently as sharp spikes emerged randomly all over the place.
This caught them off gaurd, and considering their tight formation, they found themselves crashing into each other to evade the sudden attack, especially the people at the rear.
Shouts and curses flew around the place as everyone looked for the culprit, making a disturbance in their previously quiet march.
"Hmm? What's happening over there?", Kaine frowned as he looked behind.
Ragnar, who was waking beside him with a bored expression paused, his lips slowly turning up at the corner.
"Finally.... It seems we've found our prey."
At the rear-end of the long line of hundreds of battle-ready people, Felix slowly emerged out from the ground.
The space around him turned darker, his body leaning forward in a position ready to dash.
'Corrosion Domain... Agility Burst!'
Felix kicked off the ground, tightly grasping his sword as he ran towards the enemies who noticed his appearance.
The distance between them reached closer and closer, both of the sides ready to face the other as their battle began.
'Battlefield Awareness! Dust Blast! Here I come!'
With his superhuman physique that reached the Rank 3, Felix crashed into the group of people, bringing along with him dust and corrosion.
And so it began: with that single, furious plunge into the fray, the moment that would later earn Felix the legendary title of One-Man Army.
