Slowly Falling into His Love Trap-Chapter 127:
The horizon began to show a pale white light. Evelyn went to bed early and woke up early. She had been tangled up over Finn Lewis’s affairs last night and unexpectedly fell asleep.
The first person she saw upon waking was Caden Lockwood, and she wasn’t surprised at all.
However, the distance between them seemed a bit too close.
Why was she sleeping in his arms?
Even though they slept on the same bed every day, there were two sets of bedding!
"Caden Lockwood!" Evelyn shouted furiously, "You! You..."
She hurriedly shrank back, but a hand wrapped around her waist at that moment, pulling her into that warm embrace once again. Caden Lockwood opened his eyes, a bit lazy, a bit intoxicated, making him even more handsome.
"Last night when you threw yourself into my arms, you didn’t react like this." He slowly uttered a sentence that made her feel like she was being choked.
She was speechless. From the sound of it, it seemed she had burrowed into his covers last night?
"Impossible!" she completely disagreed, "I’m very well-behaved when I sleep, I hardly move at all, there’s no way I did anything to you!"
"Would I deliberately pull you into my arms?" He aggressively questioned her, meeting her gaze.
The corners of her lips awkwardly twitched, her pretty face was tinged with redness.
Could it be that just because he’s handsome, wealthy, smart, and capable, he can speak so confidently?
Feeling a bit weak, she thought it was better not to argue too much with him.
After all, they hadn’t done anything unnecessary.
"Really wish we could get divorced sooner!" she murmured discontentedly, "How much longer do I have to endure this tormenting life?"
Seeing his face darken, she quickly escaped from his arms, got up, and ran to the bathroom as if a mouse had seen a cat, closing the door and gasping for air.
Staring at herself in the mirror, her cheeks were red, and her big eyes were shimmering with distraction,
then... just now... didn’t Caden Lockwood see it all?
She hurriedly covered her mouth to prevent herself from screaming.
Her eyes widened as her mind suddenly exploded with a buzzing sound.
Oh heavens!
She had a premonition that if she continued like this with Caden Lockwood, something major was bound to happen sooner or later!
Without having breakfast at home, Evelyn practically hid her face with her backpack as she ran away from the villa.
Caden Lockwood sat at the dining table, watching Evelyn’s timid back, a mischievous smile formed on his lips.
Evelyn, annoyed, took the bus to school. She had to guard against Caden Lockwood, who was a complete scoundrel, while also trying to prove her innocence, which was giving her a headache.
But Cecilia Lynch was busy making money recently and had no time to listen to her about these matters.
"Evelyn!" A voice that made her furious sounded in her ear.
She looked up, and not far away, Finn Lewis stood there with a teasing smile.
Evelyn walked over to Finn Lewis, questioning angrily, "Senior! What on earth are you trying to do? What’s the benefit to you for saying those slanderous things about me?"
