"Looks like you and your husband had a big fight?" Finn Lewis asked with a smile.

"Looks like you really hope we did?" Evelyn Morgan sneered, wary of Finn’s appearance, "People like you really embarrass men!"

"Me?" Finn pointed at himself and shrugged nonchalantly, "Society doesn’t care how many good or bad things you’ve done. As long as you have money, there’s always someone trying to cozy up to you. Calculating against you is just seeking some security for myself."

"Seeking security?" Evelyn laughed as though she had heard a joke, "Your idea of security is to frame me?"

"I really don’t want to do such a damaging thing." Finn looked Evelyn up and down, then said, "Just spend a night with me, let me vent this resentment, and I’ll let this go. Otherwise..."

Finn curled his lips, "Otherwise, more unexpected things will happen next!"

Looking at Finn, Evelyn now felt whatever he did or said seemed normal.

However, his baseness still refreshed her worldview.

"It’s just one night, it’s not like you would lose out. Women usually enjoy this sort of thing," Finn’s gaze grew deeper, "You must have done it with him many times, right?"

Her face went pale and then reddened with anger, Evelyn trembled slightly, almost wanting to throw Finn into outer space.

Suddenly, she remembered this was like Caden Lockwood’s style.

Had she stayed with him so long that her behavior also took after his?

Unconsciously, her mood improved, and she didn’t even understand why.

"My husband is handsome, rich, and incredibly good; he always makes me extremely happy and satisfied!" Evelyn pitched her voice higher, "As for you, you don’t even make me want to be near you."

"Do whatever you want next; in my eyes, you’re just a horrible beast!"

He really did like her.

After she rejected him, resentment grew, and now he heard her insulting him like this.

Facing Evelyn’s stubborn and aloof gaze, Finn clenched his fist and slowly lowered his hand.

He wasn’t here to escalate conflicts; if he messed things up, Eleanor Keaton definitely wouldn’t let him off.

"Don’t want to spend the night with me? Fine." Finn smiled deeply, "I’ll give you three days to prepare ten million; then this matter will be settled. Otherwise, I have a series of lies that will ruin things between you and your husband, and you can forget about staying as a Young Madam in The Lockwood Family!"

"Fine!" Evelyn answered, "Don’t worry, I won’t give you a dime! If you can get me out of being Mrs. Lockwood, I’ll thank you!"

Saying that, she turned and prepared to leave.

"What do you mean?" Finn quickly grabbed Evelyn’s hand, "You don’t want to be Mrs. Lockwood?"

Evelyn was startled; the words she had unconsciously said were now being used against her by Finn?

Caden Lockwood had warned her not to let anyone know about their secret marriage agreement.

Otherwise, it would lead to big trouble.

She didn’t want to cause trouble for him, nor for herself; she just wanted to get out of this mess quickly.

But did Finn notice something after all?

"Let go of me!" Evelyn raised her voice, "Finn, if you keep pestering me, I’ll call the police!"

Flinging Finn’s hand away, a trace of panic flashed in Evelyn’s eyes as she hurried into the school.
