Slowly Falling into His Love Trap-Chapter 198: You’re Clearly the One Who Wants a Divorce
A gust of cold wind hit her, as if trying to push her down, and Evelyn instinctively closed her eyes tightly, her pretty little face filled with panic and fear.
"You want to be with him? Ha! What to do? As long as I’m here for one more day, that wish of yours will never come true!" Caden Lockwood spoke each word with ferocity and dominance.
"From today on, if you take one call from him, he will not be able to communicate with anyone else. If you see him once, he will never see anyone else again! I warned you, right? If he touches a single finger of yours, I will cripple one of his hands. You’re leaning on his chest now, so, what should I do to him?" Caden Lockwood spat out this cruel question.
Evelyn suddenly opened her eyes, meeting Caden Lockwood’s dark and terrifying face.
He was serious, absolutely not joking.
She cried out in fright, "Uncle!"
When did she ever lean on Logan Shaw’s chest?
"You want to challenge my capabilities? Then open your eyes wide and watch carefully, I will make sure you are satisfied!"
Saying that, he stepped away.
"No!" Evelyn immediately grabbed Caden Lockwood, "Are you crazy? There’s nothing between Logan and me! He didn’t touch me!"
"Whether he touched you or not is not up to you to decide." Caden Lockwood narrowed his eyes, emitting a cold and icy glare.
"Please, no." Evelyn shook her head, "Logan and I don’t have that kind of relationship you’re thinking of! I beg you, don’t hurt him! I won’t see him ever again! Please, let him go! You can do whatever you want to me!"
Seeing Evelyn’s urgent and worried expression, Caden Lockwood’s heart felt as if something was cutting it back and forth.
Pain.
Unbearable pain.
His large palm clenched into a fist; his teeth grinding with a "grinding" sound, and the images of two small versions of her reflected in his eyes drove him mad.
"I have lost all interest in you." Caden Lockwood’s voice was cold and unfeeling.
His gaze fell on Evelyn’s hand on his arm, and he pushed her away harshly, his expression unchanging and resolute.
Evelyn, unable to keep her balance, fell to the ground, with a tearing pain shooting from her ankle.
On reflex, Caden Lockwood reached out to pull Evelyn up, but then clamped his hands into fists, placing them behind his back.
His jet-black eyes were filled with intense anger as he stared at her, then removed the ring from his hand and picked up her ring, glancing at it, his face showing a deep sense of mockery.
These rings, which he had specially instructed a designer to make, were now mocking him for his foolishness.
As she observed Caden Lockwood’s mockingly smiling expression, Evelyn’s eyes shattered into pieces.
She didn’t know what she had done wrong, but she knew she had truly made a mistake.
After all, he had never lost his temper at her like this before.
"You want a divorce? Then divorce we shall!" With that, Caden Lockwood threw the pair of rings out the window, turned around, and walked away without any hesitation.
Watching Caden Lockwood’s back, Evelyn burst into tears.
She wanted to catch up with him, to question why he was treating her this way, but as soon as she stood up, the pain in her ankle became unbearable.
"Stop right there for me!" She shouted with all her might, "Caden Lockwood, come back to me!"
"Waaah — you’re clearly the one who wants the divorce!"
Yet all she heard was the sound of the car gradually fading away.
The coldness in the room gradually faded along with Caden Lockwood’s departure. Evelyn sat on the ground, enduring the pain, stood up, and walked outside the villa, where Caden Lockwood was nowhere to be seen.
[PS: Don’t worry, dear ones, big moves are happening for Evelyn soon!]
