Slowly Falling into His Love Trap-Chapter 202: She Must Find Him
Hearing Shannon Dunn’s voice, Evelyn Morgan’s expression changed.
Looking at Shannon Dunn who appeared in front of her, she couldn’t help but tighten her grip on the medication, unwilling to hand it over.
"Why?" Shannon Dunn gave Evelyn a faint smile, "Do you have to personally deliver the medication to Caden?"
Facing Shannon Dunn’s gaze, Evelyn felt guilty.
After all, Shannon Dunn was now Caden Lockwood’s legitimate wife!
What right did she have to personally take the medication to Caden Lockwood?
"Don’t delay." Shannon Dunn urged, "Evelyn, you don’t want anything to happen to Caden, do you?"
Evelyn immediately shook her head, biting her lips tightly, and could only hand the medication to Shannon Dunn.
Taking the medication, Shannon laughed, "Thank you for personally bringing the medication, I’ll go take care of Caden now. You don’t need to come with me, after all, I think... it’s better if you don’t meet."
"I just want to see him." Evelyn whispered, "I won’t do anything else!"
"What’s the point?" Shannon still smiled, but the sense of authority around her was very strong.
Slightly parting her lips, she said something that made Evelyn feel like she was being choked: "Just one look, and you think you won’t divorce?"
Upon hearing this, Evelyn’s legs went weak, pain in her ankle suddenly struck, feeling as if her bones were breaking, causing her to gasp.
Watching Shannon Dunn’s departing back, Evelyn’s nose tingled, sniffed, and tears were held back from falling.
It seemed she had no right to care about Caden Lockwood anymore.
But, she... can’t even have a single glance at him?
The air was suffocatingly oppressive, Evelyn couldn’t stand it anymore, turned around, and jogged out.
As she was about to exit the company building, Evelyn stopped again.
Since she’s already here, not seeing him just makes her feel... uneasy.
She didn’t know why she felt uneasy, maybe she just wanted to see Caden Lockwood one more time!
To see him well with her own eyes, that would be enough!
Turning back, looking at the rows of dark offices, everyone had already finished work, only two security guards stood at the entrance.
Evelyn tightened her fists, deeply anxious inside.
She was able to enter the company earlier because Julian Keaton was there, so the security let her pass.
Now, if she rashly asked where Caden Lockwood’s office was, they might throw her out.
Why didn’t Julian Keaton follow her?
She didn’t have his phone number either!
Hesitating for a moment, Evelyn entered the elevator, deciding to start from the top floor and search the president’s office room by room.
After all, it seems that the higher the status, the higher the office floor.
Each floor was spacious, Evelyn limped, searching corridor by corridor.
Such a big place, dark except for street lamps, was eerie.
Yet Evelyn was not scared at all.
She had only one belief in her heart—she must find Caden Lockwood to confirm he’s alright.
After searching the top floor, Evelyn was physically exhausted.
Limping was truly exhausting.
Leaning against the wall, she rested for a while before going down a floor, continuing her search.
"Boss’s wife?" Sean Ashton exclaimed in astonishment, "What... what are you doing here?"
"Sean!" Evelyn was overjoyed, as if she found a savior, she laughed aloud.
"Wonderful!" she choked, "Wonderful!"
Finally, she could see Caden Lockwood!
"Could you... take me to see your... boss?" Evelyn quietly asked, "Don’t worry! I won’t disturb him! I just want to see him!"
