[Amerisa.]

Erika stood in the city's central square, her posture composed, yet a subtle undercurrent of grief etched itself upon her features. The once vibrant metropolis, teeming with millions of souls, now lay eerily silent. The bustling streets, the cozy homes, even the verdant public parks were devoid of life, a chilling testament to the city's forced isolation.

"Love… wherever you are, we're waiting… Please, we can't do this alone," she whispered, her voice barely audible, her eyes closing as if seeking solace in the darkness behind her eyelids.

"Erika."

Erika's eyes snapped open, and she turned her head, her gaze meeting Jennifer's.

"What happened? Are the gates…?" Erika asked, her voice laced with a mixture of hope and dread.

"Yes."

Jennifer approached Erika, her steps measured, and stood beside her, her gaze mirroring the desolate cityscape.

"Luncheon has fallen… Caroton, Valeria, and Casmia have also fallen… The rest are being overrun… Amerisa is the last standing city," Jennifer exhaled deeply, the weight of their situation heavy in the air.

Erika surveyed the empty city, a soft, almost melancholic chuckle escaping her lips.

"What happened? Why are you laughing?" Jennifer asked, her voice filled with mild confusion.

"You know, if someone had told me this would happen to our world, I might not have believed it, thinking we had powerful and millions of players… But now, I see how naive I was. We have millions of players, but very few fighters." Erika said, her voice laced with a bitter realization.

"True, we only have tens of thousands of players who are at least Diamond to Sovereign medal holders. But even a Sovereign medal holder won't be able to defeat the weakest commander from the enemy side… Yeah, we're at a huge disadvantage." Jennifer sighed, her voice mirroring Erika's disillusionment.

"So what do you suggest? How can we get through this?" Erika asked, her voice laced with a desperate hope.

Jennifer took a deep breath, and exhaled slowly. She looked up at the night sky, its vast expanse a stark contrast to their dwindling world, and opened her mouth.

"Together." she said, her voice firm, resolute.

Erika sighed, the weight of their impending doom settling upon her shoulders.

"Thirty minutes more… this war will decide the fate of our world."

Whizzed!

The two women looked up as a shimmering, white transparent shield materialized above the city, slowly encompassing the entirety of Amerisa, a fragile barrier against the encroaching darkness.

[GODS' REALM.]

Michael blinked a few times, his mind struggling to process the abrupt shift in his reality. He slowly rose from the ground, his body feeling strangely unfamiliar. He attempted to activate the system interface, to call upon his myriad skills and abilities, but nothing happened.

'The system… gone?' He thought, his mind reeling with shock.

"Does that mean…?" He muttered, his voice barely a whisper.

Michael opened his palm, his gaze falling upon his hand, and realized he couldn't access his powerful bloodlines. The Void, Blood, Shadow, Psychic, and Space bloodlines, the very essence of his power, were gone, leaving only his elemental bloodlines intact.

'My Void, Blood, Shadow, Psychic, and Space bloodlines are all gone? Even my cheats?' he thought, his expression bewildered.

With a hesitant motion, he stretched forth his hand, and to his immense relief, Starvil materialized in his grasp.

"Thank goodness you're with me." he said, his voice filled with a mixture of relief and gratitude.

'I will forever be with my master.' Starvil replied telepathically, its voice resonating in his mind.

Michael nodded with a small smile, and looked up at the towering tree before him.

"Uh?"

He muttered, his eyes widening in surprise as he saw the sword still engraved on the tree, now glowing with a faint golden light.

'Without my powerful skills, bloodlines, and blessings, I need to think of a way to protect my race!' He thought, his mind racing.

Michael quickly turned around, his gaze falling upon the Gods, who were slowly descending before him, their faces mirroring his surprise and shock.

"Ruler Michael, your powers?" Goddess Hestia asked, her voice filled with concern.

"I know, Goddess Hestia… I need your help." Michael said, his voice firm, resolute.

"Tell us, we'll help you in any way we can." Zeus said, his voice filled with unwavering support.

"I need…" Michael began, and proceeded to explain his plan in detail, his voice filled with urgency. After five minutes, he was finished.

"It will be done." Zeus nodded, his expression resolute. He turned to the Gods and Goddesses behind him. "You heard Ruler Michael, get on with it."

They all nodded in agreement, but Hera hesitated, her expression filled with apprehension.

"Husband, what he is planning will surely obliterate the Gods' Realm… Taking powers from the Realm Core will damage not only the realm, but also him." she said, her voice laced with fear.

Zeus nodded, his gaze turning to Michael. "I made my decision…"

"But Mr. Michael, you might die…" Primordial god, Erebus said, his voice filled with concern.

Michael smiled, a hint of reassurance in his eyes. "No, Primordial Erebus… Don't forget who we are. We can't be killed, and if we die by chance, our souls survive."

"You don't get it, Mr. Michael." Nyx sighed, her voice filled with a somber understanding.

"The Core is more powerful than even a Sage… Only a Supreme can go ahead with this plan and walk out alive… The Core's energy is just too powerful for a Sage as yourself."

Michael looked at the Gods, a little confused by their concern, but he sighed, his expression resolute.

"This is the only way to go, you guys should leave this realm… I have a feeling Typhon is coming here, he can't miss the show." He said, his voice filled with a quiet determination.

The Gods stared at Michael, their expressions a mixture of disbelief and admiration. Using such energy would surely result in death, even the soul wouldn't survive… But Michael had made his decision, and they could only nod their heads in acceptance.

"Go now… leave this place." Michael said, his voice firm.

Nemesis walked towards him and gave him a warm hug. "If you survive this, you're getting me another ice cream." she said, stepping backward, a hint of a smile playing on her lips.

"I promised." Michael replied, his voice filled with a gentle reassurance.

She nodded with a sad smile, and disappeared from the realm.

Zeus respectfully nodded at Michael. "I will never forget you, human." he said, and also disappeared into a trail of light.

Nyx, Erebus, and the rest of the Gods bowed at Michael. "We will never forget you." They said in unison, their voices filled with a solemn respect.

Michael silently watched as the Gods disappeared one by one… and in less than thirty seconds, he was the only God remaining in the realm.

"Now, Starvil." He looked down at his sword. "Let's get to work."

Michael shot into the air, and flew towards the Pantheon building.

____

Michael landed on the golden entrance, and walked inside.

"The Hall." He muttered, his voice echoing through the empty building.

He walked inside the hall, his gaze sweeping across the empty Gods' seats.

"Now, show yourself." He said, his voice resonating through the hall.

He snapped his fingers, and the center of the hall split open…

Michael watched as the artifact rose from the ground, and stood before him.

"Eris." He called, his voice filled with authority.

Whoosh!!!

A gateway opened, and Eris, her face pale, her body trembling from the horrors she had witnessed in the catacombs, fell out.

Michael turned around and raised an eyebrow, seeing her state.

"I don't know if you can still hear me… but change of plans." He said, his voice firm.

Eris looked up at him, her face filled with dread.

"I need you to do something very important." He said.

Before Eris could respond, a flash of light moved past her eyes, and she collapsed on the ground, dead.

"I need your help as a walker." He added.

Michael stretched out his hand towards her dead body, and commanded:

"Rise."

BOOM!

Dark smoke burst out from the body, but quickly dissipated.

"What?"

Michael muttered, his voice filled with surprise.

"I can't rise Eris? Are my powers fading?" He thought, his eyes widening in horror.

"No, I need her." he said, his voice filled with a desperate urgency.

He channeled all his remaining energies into one, the sword tattoo on his cheek started glowing.

"RISE!!" he yelled.

With a powerful surge, the smoke burst out from Eris's body, and formed a Walker… her black obsidian armor shimmering under the lighting in the room, while

Michael sighed in relief, and lowered his hand.

"Go to Amerisa, help my family and tell them the news of my death, and..."

"**.....**"

Hearing the task given to her, Eris looked up at him, her face a canvas of bewildered confusion.

"Don't ask anything, just go."

She nodded, a silent acknowledgment, and vanished like smoke in a breeze.

Michael exhaled, a weary sound that echoed in the vast hall. "Destroyers!"

BOOOM!!

The fabric of space behind him ruptured, a jagged tear through, forming a gateway; which Destroyers emerged, their three heads scanning the hall, a collective expression of perplexed inquiry.

"**Master!**"

"There is something I need to do, Destroyers... And it might result in my death, for real."

"**What?!**"

The word boomed, a chorus of disbelief.

"I know it sounds rash, perhaps even foolish... But I have to do this... And if I die, all my Walkers and Blades will cease to exist... I need you to go and aid Havoc... Be swift, time is a luxury we no longer possess."

"**That means, we will also vanish.**" Yers said, her voice laced with incredulous shock.

"Yes."

The three heads exchanged silent, weighty glances, then turned back to Michael, their eyes locking onto his.

"**Ok, Ruler... We are with you.**"

Michael nodded, a silent wave of gratitude washing over him, and then, Destroyers dissipated, disappearing from the hall.

Michael sighed, and turned his gaze towards the artifact, the gem pulsing with colourful lights.

"Now, it's your turn." He said, his voice resolute, and stretched his hand towards the luminescent gem.
