Solo Leveling: I Am The Only Supreme With the Cheating System-Chapter 524: Multi Realm
Whoosh!!
Jennifer stumbled out from the shimmering gateway, her breath catching in her throat as she took in the sight before her. Darren, Leo, Drakon, Aaron, Shenras, and Havoc stood a few feet away, their expressions a mixture of surprise and mild confusion.
"Why are you here?!" Drakon's voice boomed, tinged with shock.
"This..." Jennifer turned back towards the gateway, her eyes widening in mild surprise as the swirling portal winked out of existence. "It carried me here... I thought you guys needed help!"
Darren sighed. "Well... We can't send her back or do anything about it..."
He turned to Jennifer, a hint of resignation in his voice. "Welcome to the Multi-Realm."
Jennifer slowly pivoted, her gaze sweeping across the strange landscape. The sky was a familiar clear blue, yet the ground beneath her feet felt strangely cold, even through the soles of her shoes. A subtle, unsettling vibration emanated from the earth.
"You aren't standing on earth, but on the corpses of fallen gods and angels," Aaron explained, his voice low, observing her bewildered expression.
"EH??!!" Jennifer exclaimed, a wave of mild horror washing over her.
"The Multi-Realm is a battlefield created by the Supreme Queen herself..." Darren elaborated, his gaze distant. "In this battlefield, even supremes could use their full strength without restraint... Which means they can go all out."
He lifted his head, his eyes fixed on the vast expanse above. "When the first war occurred, the gods and titans fought it on this very land... The gods won, and with the help of the Queen, trapped the titans into the Abyssal."
"Titans? What do that have to do with us?" Jennifer asked, her brow furrowed in mild confusion.
"Typhon isn't a threat to me, but the titans are..." Darren's voice grew grave.
"The Titans are Typhon's elder siblings, with unparalleled powers, with one being a Supreme... One alone is enough to destroy the realms. But now, we'll be facing seven, plus Typhon, Gaea, Hades, and Poseidon... Making ten."
"Ten! We're only seven, we are outnumbered," Leo stated calmly, his usual jovial demeanor replaced by a serious edge.
"Not quite."
A faint smile played on Darren's lips, his gaze still unwavering towards the sky.
BOOOM!
The six and Jennifer instinctively raised their heads, watching in astonishment as the sky above them seemed to split open with a deafening crack. Before their very eyes, more than ten shimmering gateways manifested, swirling with celestial energy.
Jennifer watched in mild shock, her mind reeling as figures began to emerge from the luminous portals. They were the beings of myth, the deities she had only ever read about in ancient texts, now descending towards them like armored stars.
"Zeus, Hera, Nyx, Erebus, Hestia, Hemara, Aphrodite, Demeter, Apollo, Eros, Nemesis, Athena, Artemis, Dionysus, and Moros," Jennifer murmured, reciting each of the gods' names as she stared at the magnificent, clad figures descending.
"What about now? Twenty-two against ten." Aphrodite landed gracefully in front of Jennifer, her pink armor radiating a soft glow in the sunlight.
"Aphrodite, the goddess of love... It's an honor meeting you," Jennifer stammered, a touch of awe in her voice.
"Forget all that! We are one in battle, so there's no need to be so polite," Aphrodite replied with a warm smile.
"Yes... We might have an advantage in number, but they're a lot stronger than us," Erebus interjected, his voice carrying a hint of grimness as he walked towards the group. "We have six Primordials, and a sage, while the enemy has seven sages, two Primordials, and one Supreme... It'll be a miracle if we survive."
"Don't say that, love, we can do it," Nyx retorted, casting a sharp glance at her husband before turning a reassuring smile towards Jennifer and the six beside her. "We'll win this, okay? There's nothing else to think about." She added with conviction.
Jennifer simply nodded, her eyes still wide with disbelief. Who would have thought that one day she would stand in the presence of mythological gods, witnessing them bicker and offer words of encouragement like ordinary people?
"Come on, this is the final battle of the realms, either we survive to die... We should at least have a drink," Dionysus declared with a jovial smile, a sudden lightness entering the tense atmosphere. With a flick of his wrist, twenty-two elegant glasses filled with a rich, ruby liquid materialized before everyone.
"Come on, this is my best collection of wine. I have stored it for more than ten centuries, enjoy it!" Dionysus urged, his eyes twinkling with mirth.
"Wow, a wine from the god of wine himself... Let's see how this is," Aaron said, a hint of curiosity replacing the earlier tension on his face. He reached for the nearest glass and took a tentative sip. "Hmm... Impressive."
Jennifer watched as the others began to take their glasses, the initial shock slowly giving way to a sense of surreal camaraderie. After a moment of hesitation, she raised her hand and took a glass of the deep red wine, slowly bringing it to her lips.
Jennifer took a slow sip, and her eyes widened in genuine surprise and delight. "Wow, this is good... Are all aged wines this good?" she asked, taking another, more generous sip.
"What do you expect? He's the god of wine, any wine can be sweetened by him, let alone one he specifically brewed," Demeter answered with a gentle smile.
Jennifer's gaze drifted across the assembled gods, and she noticed one figure who remained untouched by the revelry. She stood slightly apart, clad in a pristine white temple gown, her head adorned with a delicate golden feather crown. Her long, flowing red hair cascaded down her back, almost reaching the ground. She exuded an aura of serene purity, truly embodying the image of a goddess.
Lost in her observation, Jennifer realized she had been staring at this innocent goddess for more than ten seconds. Noticing her gaze, the goddess turned her head, her gentle green eyes locking with Jennifer's blue ones.
"What happened, Miss Jennifer?" she asked, her voice soft and warm.
"Nothing, Goddess Hestia, just wondering why you aren't having wine with us," Jennifer replied, a slight blush rising on her cheeks.
"Wine is against my rule," Hestia explained calmly. "If I take any of these, my purity will be ruined, and I'll have to face the trial of heaven to wash away the stain."
The other gods, Darren, Drakon, and the rest of the group turned towards Hestia in mild confusion.
"You're about to enter a war, isn't that a sin?" Jennifer asked, her curiosity piqued.
"It is indeed a sin," Hestia acknowledged, her expression thoughtful. "But the heavens themselves granted me this one privilege... I discovered there are some sins in this world that must be committed to save someone else. Those are not recorded as sins, but as goodwill... As long as you don't kill innocent people in the process."
Jennifer nodded slowly, a thoughtful expression on her face. "Thanks for making that clear." She finished her wine in one swift gulp, the rich flavor lingering on her tongue.
BOOOOOM!!!
The sky a thousand meters from their location tore open with another earth-shattering roar, and a colossal red gateway materialized, pulsating with dark energy.
"I guess fun time is off," Dionysus sighed, finishing his wine and casually tossing his empty glass to the side, where it vanished in a puff of golden light.
BOOOOM!!
Another gateway ripped open directly above them, even larger and more menacing than the first, causing the entire group to crane their necks upwards, their eyes widening in renewed surprise and a growing sense of dread.
