Chapter 96: Scout...

It couldn’t be helped, these werewolves did not know that their Progenitor could hear their thoughts, if they did, I wonder what their reaction might be...

Ignoring the secret glares from the crowd as they had similar thoughts, the Prpgenitor continued:

"She couldn’t return to her human form because she stayed too long in her werewolf form. As for why I choose her, isn’t it obvious, out of all of us, she has the highest resistance to human blood"

"When I mean resistance I mean that, the human DNA in her werewolf body resonates and makes the human blood less tempting than it is to us, Werewolves with pure Wolfbloodline," The progenitor explained it in a deeper depth.

"So right now, she will have to venture into the human world and get this done for us, if there is anyone who can venture there and do this job, without getting her bloodlust high and unstable upon sight of Humans, then it has to be her" He added.

The crowd felt that what the Progenitor said was understandable and doable so they accepted his words wholeheartedly without any sign of dissatisfaction.

It had been long since they tasted humans, and they have waited patiently for chances like this, but if they did not send out a scout many things will be ruined, so it wouldn’t hurt to wait just for a few days if it meant that they would get information about the world they have a connection to.

Seeing them nod their heads to show their support, the progenitor smiled.

Although he has the power to force the entire werewolves in front of him to do his bidding, he’s not a tyrant, and neither does he like being one.

Even with his immense power he knew the effect tyranny can have on his subordinates, he want all of them to do things of their own free will, without having a bad taste in their mouth, especially when they are in times of war like this.

With this in his mind, the progenitor turned to the still-bowing werewolf Vero.

"Now, you’ve been given this mission, I hope you don’t disappoint us, don’t let the list for human blood get the better part of you," He said in a cold voice.

Vero in return, shivered and gulped in utter submission before saying:

"Yes Lord Progenitor"

"Go prepare, you will leave in an hour," The Progenitor said in an indifferent voice.

Meanwhile, back on hearth, Some Disciples of the Empyrean bureau gave been set to guard the Dungeon Vortex and inform them in the case of imminent danger.

An Hour later...

The Werewolf was sent out, it had been fed enough blood and meat so that its resistance to human blood would increase.

Soon, she was in front of the vortex.

By now, the vortex has absorbed enough Qi from both planets and is now stable for teleportation.

So without delay, the Werewolf snarled looking around the forest one last time before walking through the Vortex, and the vortex sucked her right in.

She was intrigued to know about humans and the human world.

Though the Progenitor said that she was once a human, she had forgotten about all of its human memories the moment it became a Werewolf.

So she had no memories of her human life, when she woke up as a werewolf, she found herself in this world without her human memories, so it could be said that she had not seen a human ever in her life.

As for how she knew it was a human that lived on the other side of the dungeon when the dungeon appeared, this was just a guess from the Information she had.

The human smell is unique, and even a newborn werewolf could guess a human from their smell alone.

To werewolves, this aura was tempting, it make them salivate and slowly lose control of their body if they resist the urge.

And if they lose control of their body, they would go rampant, feeding on humans until their ’Blood lust’ is satiated.

They could only regain control of their body once their bloodlust is satiated, for that, werewolves need to feed on humans regularly or they will go berserk the moment they spot just a single human.

But humans aren’t the only thing they feed on, they are many other species of animals they use to satiate their blood lust, but they only feel satisfied if they feed on humans, it’s as if humans were created to be their food.

So as the Werewolf came out of the portal, she found herself in another universe, a place which she found... Irritating.

The Day was Breaking/setting, and Sun was slowly coming out of its ’Shell’

And one thing werewolves hate so much, just like vampires and zombies, is the Sun.

She immediately started feeling extreme irritation on her skin, she first raised one of her claw-filled paws to her eyes, trying to cover her eyes from the sun’s rays.

Then she started clawing on her body trying to stop the extreme irritation she felt in her skin.

This was just too much...

She wanted to return to the misty world through that portal, but then, she decided against it.

If she goes back through that portal, the progenitor and all other Werewolves would be extremely disappointed in her.

It has not even been an hour since they sent her out, returning this early would be extremely disappointing.

So she can only endure everything.

SNARL

She snarled in anger as she tried to get used to the pain but the pain was just too much.

Thinking hard, she knew that she have to find shade as fast as possible.

But then she started hearing noises in front of her, she looked up and then saw two ’strange’ humanoid figures, not the usually hunched, hairy broad body werewolves she had usually seen all her life.

"Hey," The human shouted but upon seeing that it was a Werewolf, horror filled his eyes.
