Soul World Of Strong Souls-Chapter 50: “Where are you Kai?”

Soldiers arrived and found a lot of citizens in a group as they surrounded something. The place was chaotic, and it had a lot of bruises in the walls. There was also an apartment that had a big hole with a big human shape. Next to that hole, there was a crowd of people who created a big circle, some stretching their necks as their eyes craved to see what was in the middle.

"Let’s go over there; there should be something that we are after!" said Gilthunder as he pointed at the crowd. 5 soldiers escorted him; the leader was the suspicious soldier. He was running fast as if he knew what was over there, in the middle of the circle.

Suddenly, he stopped near the crowd and opened a road for Gilthunder. Gilthunder forced himself into the crowd. His gear showed that he was part of the army. The crowd respectfully opened the way in fear as Gil got inside shouting.

With a big voice, he said, "Coming through, open up, coming through!" Those words caught everyone’s attention, and that’s when he managed to get inside.

He found a giant lying down with his back, his mouth and nose showing the red, dry blood, while another guy, who was brown-haired, was pushing the giant’s chest while his eyes flowed with tears, and again, he was sniffing.

"Is this Goro?" Gilthunder asked as he was taken aback by the look of him. He was known as the undefeatable. He was more powerful than many Luminaris mages since a lot of them suffered a loss after they tried attacking him.

Suddenly, a woman’s voice came from the masked soldier. The suspicious soldier had a woman’s voice. The others glared at the soldier as he asked, "Goro? Kai? Where’s Kai?" he said as he started looking around.

"Huh?" said Gilthunder as he got astonished by the voice. The voice was a little unrecognizable since it was being deepened by the mask. Suddenly, the soldier took off his helmet, and long curly blonde hair swung down and covered the soldier’s back.

Gilthunder suddenly recognized the female soldier. He said, "Princess?" He paused, his eyes widened since he wasn’t wearing a helmet. He continued saying, "What are you doing here?"

"Kai!" The princess ignored Gilthunder and continued to look around, searching for Kai. She said, "Where’s Kai? Kai!"

Another citizen in the group heard Gil saying, *Princess!* Suddenly asked out of curiosity, saying, "What is she doing here?"

The other one who overheard the soldier asked, "Princess?"

"Is she Princess Sonia?"

Another man in the crowd proved to be a bit knowledgeable. He said, "Yes, it’s her. I last saw her when she was around 7 years old, and she had that golden-looking hair."

People started shouting, saying, "She’s the princess, Princess Sonia!"

Gilthunder was left thunderstruck. He asked, "Princess, what are you...?" She paused and looked down.

He then thought of continuing, "How did you...?" He paused again.

The princess wasn’t even listening to him; she was busy searching. She said, "Kai, Kai, where are you?"

She shouted his name louder, "Kaiiiiii!!"

Gilthunder then helped her to search for Kai. "Hey, we’re looking for a short guy, around the princess’s height. Did you see him?"

The guy asked someone, "Where is that guy?"

The asked responded, "He vanished into this thin clear air!"

"Huh?" Gilthunder was left surprised.

The other guy simply replied, saying, "We don’t know where he went!"

"Who beat Goro up?" Gil asked.

The citizen asked, "There’s this mage who was in black, with scary red eyes, and he looked scary."

The princess widened her eyes and asked, "Mage? Did he have black hair?"

"Yes, he was a bit taller than you, princess!"

’HUH, was it Kai? Kai was exactly my height or even shorter; maybe it wasn’t him.’ The princess thought and looked down.

She then asked, "Who was the first person who fought with Goro?"

"That mage!"

’Maybe it’s Kai!’ Then she loudly continued, saying, "Ohh okay, thanks!"

"Anything, my princess."

"Kai, where are you?" the princess asked as she cried.

Gilthunder weirdly asked, "Hey, is there any dead person around?"

Some people looked at Goro; without any more minutes, someone confirmed, "He’s alive; he’s breathing!"

Someone added, "He’s coughing!"

People got happy for it as they said, "Yes, he’s alive!"

They started singing, "Goro Goro.

Huuummm."

Another soldier asked, "Huh, what’s up? Is this a song?"

Gilthunder then said, "Princess, let’s go!"

"What? No, I’m not going back without Kai!" she said as she looked away.

"Where’s he?" Gil asked.

"He’s alive, around. Kai, where are you? Please come back. Wait, Satoru," she said as she ran away.

"Princess, wait up. Princess, please."

Gil looked at his soldiers and said, "Someone catch her!"

The soldiers were left taken aback, "Huh?"

Angrily, Gil said, "I said catch the princess. Where is she going?"

He continued trying to stop the princess; he said, "Wait!"

He even called her by her name, with less respect. "Sonia!"

The princess got in the middle of the city apartments while soldiers followed her.

The princess suddenly vanished in the middle of the apartments; soldiers searched for her, but they only found her gear and nothing more.

One of the soldiers said, "She’s gone!"

They started talking to each other, saying, "We are doomed!"

"No, we are fine!"

"Yes, she wasn’t our mission; let’s go back with this gear!"

The soldiers went back carrying her gear. They went as if they were carrying something. They looked more like they were carrying the princess.

Gilthunder caught a glimpse of soldiers walking as if they were holding the princess. He sighed and looked at Goro.

"Hey, take this giant away!" said Gilthunder as he pointed to the giant.

Kaito, the brown-haired one who was pushing Goro’s chest angrily, said, "What? no, over my dead body!"

"Move aside!" another soldier said as they tried to take Goro away,No, but Kaito was blocking the way.

Kaito responded, saying, "No, you’ll have to go through me!"

Gilthunder shouted, saying, "Hey, leave before we take you too!"

Kaito shook his head while his hands were stretched. He said, "No way!"

"Take him too!" Gilthunder finally thought of taking him.

Another soldier looked at Gil surprised, "Huh!"

"Yes, he’s violating our laws. He’s trying to prevent justice from happening!"

The soldier then held Kaito and said, "Okay, you are under arrest, Mr..."

Kaito angrily looked at Gil with his hands behind him, being held by two soldiers. "Grrr, you’ll pay for this! You can’t just arrest me while I’m protecting people!"

Gil looked at him and said, "Go and spend the day and night in the dark,dark; you’ll get sober, and hey, take this giant in too!"

Gil looked at the sky while thinking, ’It’s better we have the princess even though we don’t have that Kai guy. Wait a second, were those guys carrying the...’ Gilthunder looked at the soldiers surprised since he thought that they were carrying her.

Suddenly, he realized that they were carrying only her gear. "Huh?!!"

"She ran away, sir!" one of the soldiers said.

"She whaaaat?!" Gil said with a furious and astonished face.

"Yes, we couldn’t catch her!"

He started to yell, "Grrr, this gear got nothing; you should have left the gear and caught her. What are we going to tell the king if he realizes that she’s not there? Are we going to say, "She was on our crew, and she ran away"?

"No, sir!"

Angrily, Gil said, "Grrr, hraa! Let’s go!"
