Soul World Of Strong Souls-Chapter 53: THE PUNISHMENT 3

*"Growl," growled* the beast as it stood up. It was in pain, but not a big one.

Kai glared at the beast as he slowly walked towards the arctos. Its growl made Kai detect its anger, and he silently said, ’Ohh, it looks angry! What now, Kai? Die and you die, and Mom still needs that heart transplant.’

Kai thought of his mom, and that made him more furious. He tightened his clenched fist until his bones gave up on tightening more, and they started crackling in his knuckles.

The Arctos suddenly ran towards Kai with an angry face while it followed 7 snowballs that it sent in the lead.

Kai sneered and said, "That looks dangerous; it’s time to fight! Ohh gosh, and I’m tired." he said as he stretched his back and neck. He turned his neck to the left, then to the right, creating some crackling sounds.

He suddenly took off with his crazy speed too, charging towards the 7 flying balls that were followed by the white bear that ran on a pile of snow.

Kai went under the balls, and before he set his eyes on the bear, he faced an incoming paw that had its nails outside, ready to take a life.

He got a bit lucky, but he was struck away. When he saw the incoming hit, he was speeding; when that paw reached where Kai was, Kai was already in the better, safe spot. He wasn’t open to the risk of getting cut by its nails; he was after its paw.

So he was hit on his stomach since he turned around just in case he was in a bad spot. He was ready to hold off the attack with his hands.

When the hit came, he closed his eyes and received the hit while his hands protected his face, his elbows protecting his stomach. He was like a defending boxer.

He was sent flying for meters, then he rolled down and coughed; blood leaked on his mouth, painting his tongue.

Angrily, he thought, ’Damn, I smell blood. Don’t tell me...’ Kai said as he also had the taste of blood while he was lying on his left side, which clutched on the cold snow.

He opened his eyes and checked the beast. Instantly, his eyes widened as he saw nothing where it was; he then looked on top of him as he rolled to lie on his back, and he again saw a big paw going straight to his face, hitting all the snow pieces that were in the air.

Suddenly, he gasped, and in that same second, he managed to roll away from the paw’s hitting range. The bear hit the ground with its foot; the snow on the ground erupted up, leaving the paw on the ground.

Kai, who rolled away! When he was rolling, he saw a big snowball coming from the sky. He held his rolling brakes in an instant and jumped backward. He raised his two cold feet up and sent them to the back with a lot of energy that his upper body followed.

Lucky for him, he was already out of the range, and he landed on his feet like a cat. He then dodged a lot of snowballs that dropped like rain to the ground, shaking the ground with the big thuds.

The bear growled again, its fierce eyes on Kai after it missed him.

Kai looked at the Arctos; his eyes widened, but his mouth overworked as he panted. He was crouching, his left hand holding his chest, and his right one was enjoying the cold in the snow.

He silently said, ’Damn, this thing is fast. Ha, ha, ha.’ Kai panted to catch his breath; he then continued saying, ’I don’t know if I can keep up; the time is ticking, and 2 more creatures?! This life is just like walking on top of sharp spikes barefooted.’

*Growl*: The bear showed its anger by growling; it then glared at Kai Kai fiercely. It then started to use its magic again. The snow moved up from the ground, and it was poured on Kai’s face, blinding him for an easier attack.

Kai suddenly rushed away and stopped in a faraway place, mostly distanced from where he was. He ran off about 16 meters away from the beast with his eyes closed since the place looked deserted; he then wiped his eyes and glared at where he was standing.

With a deep voice, he smoothly and scarily said, "Ohh, that was a nice move, Arctos, bear, or whatever you are; you’ve got me pissed." He was also glaring at it with his scary red eyes.

Kai looked down, and then his eyelids slowly and gently closed. He swiftly charged towards the Arctos head-on.

He had his fist clenched, his red eyes scarily glowing at the beast. He slowed down when it started to shoot more balls that were moving on a lower latitude.

He changed routes and took a different way and reached behind the arctos.

He then gave it a warning before he punched it. "Goodbye!" he said while he was on top of it since he jumped up in order to hit its head. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

The beast glared at him and used its maximum speed to escape the scary punch.

Kai saw it leaving and acted as if he didn’t care about it. He landed on the ground, his punch on the ground too, but he slowed its force. When he landed, the punch landed like a 0.1 kilogram log; he then took a deep breath and stood up straight.

Suddenly, a big ball dropped on his head, leaving him off balance. Before he grasped the pain of the fallen ball, 4 claws deepened on his back, getting his blood off his body as it sprayed out.

*Hraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa* Kai’s mouth widened and also his eyes as he screamed in pain and fell on the ground. He started crawling and moving with his stomach like a snake.
