He then got a good idea and silently said, ’I guess I should check out the store for a better thing to use, because this thing....’

He looked behind and saw the bear on its way towards him while it slowly walked.

Kai widened his red eyes as he envisioned the screen in his eyes. He then rechecked the total amount of money that he had.

In a criticizing way, he spoke with his inner voice and said, ’Wow, I’ve got 10 coins, and there’s...’ He was about to say nothing, but he paused and looked at the prices again, and he continued, ’Wait, what’s a knuckle knife?’ He looked confused in his eyes, but he angrily changed his expression and said, ’Let’s find out.’ His inner voice deepened as he spoke. That was the time the Arctos jumped on him.

He concentrated on the knuckle knife that had an unclear red illustration. He suddenly saw a purchase notification.

When he purchased the blade, that’s when he turned to the right and cut the Arctos’ mouth.

The Arctos stood up and charged towards Kai. He also did the same.

On his way towards the Arctos, he silently spoke, his expression still solid. He said, ’This will be fun. It was hard to use hard punches since they drained a lot of my strength; now I can use this. Even though I don’t have experience, I’ll have it today.’

They met in the middle. Kai sliced the arctos more than once. With his speed, he made it possible. The vision was not clear; only flashes from his knife showed up, and the sounds of the swinging and slicing blade echoed in the windy atmosphere.

Kai crossed to the other side while the Arctos did the same. It landed and turned around to look at Kai, who smoothly landed and never turned around.

Suddenly, the Arctos’ mouth was in shreds, with more of the old torn woman’s skirt, more like underneath. Its blood stained the pure white ground, and then the bear on its own also polluted the atmosphere with its noisy growl.

He had his face stretched out from ear to ear as he grinned like a Cheshire cat waiting for the Arctos’ reaction.

When he finally heard its growl, he started giggling a bit with his teeth gritted and all visible outside as he acted emotionless.

When it charged towards him, he turned around while his hand tightened the handle of a knuckle knife. Its handle was blue with finger positions.

"Ohh, that looks scary, hihihi," he said as he looked at the aggressive white bear that was rushing towards him. He continued saying, "I guess it’s time to get serious."

Kai suddenly swooped out from where he was standing and appeared next to the arctos that was also rushing towards him.

He stopped for half of a second, and by that mini-second, the arctos saw him, and it suddenly raised its right foot and attempted to slice him off.

He took off before it reached him and cut its skin off. He cut its skin from its neck going to its back.

It growled in pain and turned around, raising a lot of snow from the ground.
