Kai woke, his heart racing as he glared at the white place full of snow that was raining, and at the same time, the wind was blowing it around.

He then looked down, his eyes filled with tears; the lids were all full, about to release all of the tears. He grabbed his chest tight, and his mind played his mother’s face and the way she showed her love.

He also silently said, ’Mom, I’m coming; hang in there. I’ll pave the way to success; I’ll grab that treasure of life soon and come straight back to you. Just wait and see.’ He said, his eyelids tightened while tears flowed down his cheeks.

He then opened his eyes as he continued saying, ’My journey starts here, by defeating this arct...’ He was about to say "arctos," but when he raised his face, he saw nothing.

He looked around and saw nothing in front of him that was alive; he then looked to the right and saw only the snow. He then heard a bit of a soft growl next to him, from the left side.

"Mh?" A simple reaction noise came from his chest as he got astonished; his eyes widened in fear while his mouth sealed.

In fear, he looked at the left side slowly. He got his eyes to the corner in order to see it before his face got exposed to danger.

Suddenly, he saw the white arctos lying on the ground as it lay next to him.

Kai suddenly jumped away in fear and astonishment and simply said, "Hrah," since he didn’t know what it was actually doing next to him. Surprisingly, it wasn’t attacking him; it was only lying down.

The second time, when they made eye contact, the Arctos raised its head fast, and that caused fear. His heart raced and loudly pounded like a faraway war drum, but he barely heard it, since it’s rare for anyone to be able to hear his or her heartbeat.

Suddenly the screen popped up, and fear seared in his heart and chills raced down his spine as he thought that maybe he failed the punishment since he passed out, and he also thought that he was defeated by the Arctos.

Kai widened his eyes in simple astonishment; his fear was already fading slowly. He silently said, ’The what? What’s up with those click-click things? My eyes can’t click, and again, why isn’t it giving more information at once without saying, ’click’? He looked a bit annoyed as he silently spoke, his eyes hanging in the middle of the air after he was lost in thoughts.

He then looked at the arctos and held its head and said, ’And, this guy is mine!’ He petted it and felt more relieved after he saw that it was friendly and it also loved to be petted.

He said, ’Phewww, scary, this is totally a pain!’ he said as he remembered the fear that he had before realizing its friendly side.

He looked around and took a deep breath. He also got an idea about what he read on the screen.

He looked at the beast again and said, ’Hey, this thing should be hidden, and I need that pocket, and the system thing said that I’ll have to buy it while I have nothing in my pockets too! Aww, man!’

He widened his eyes after an idea clicked in his mind, ’Wait, there was a click for more details, right? Let me check the history and check it out!’

He checked and went on more. He was shown a simple idea to hide his wolf.

You can also hide your beasts in your shadow. They will be there with you anytime and anywhere you go. Going with them in your shadow can be helpful because you can communicate with it using telepathy easily, and it can come out on time.

It can also protect you even in a dire situation when you can’t fight anymore, especially when you never summoned it.

But there is a certain level of experience that you are supposed to reach in order to acquire it.

Aww man, I guess I’ll roam around with the big guy on my side!’ he said as he stood up. After he was on his two feet, he took off all the snow on his head, and he looked at the beast that also stood up.

He loudly said, "Let’s go, big guy; we are off to search for that guy who lives in rocks!" he said as he went to the unknown. He was only searching, and he didn’t know which direction to use.
