Chapter 1473: Changed Stance

When contacting the Eighth Pharaoh of the Amenkha Empire, the Evileye Tyrant Monarch had completely enveloped the Evileye Temple within its own domain, sealing off all external probing.

Although numerous Gallant Federation legions were stationed within the Grand Eye Demon World, no overlord-class fleets had arrived so far.

The federation’s forces were still focused mainly on the Magus Civilization, which was pushing deeper into the Eye Demon Star Domain.

They had not anticipated that the Evileye Tyrant Monarch would attempt to reach out to others.

After concluding the communication, the Evileye Tyrant Monarch left the Grand Eye Demon World to inspect its defenses.

Countless legions remained stationed around the Grand Eye Demon World.

The world’s unique environment granted immense advantages to the Evileye Tyrant Monarch and other Eye Demon-type beings.

Yet when it looked down upon the billions of subjects below and the endless fleets of federal warships encircling the plane, the Evileye Tyrant Monarch felt an overwhelming urge to flee.

As a “tyrant”, it naturally cared little for the lives of its own subjects. It felt no real attachment to its homeplane either. The only thing it truly cared about was itself.

The Evileye Tyrant Monarch resembled an enormous, magnified eyeball.

The eye alone spanned nearly a kilometer in diameter. Unlike ordinary Eye Demons, countless tentacles sprouted from it, each ending in a smaller eyeball of its own.

It was a Rank Seven overlord with an extraordinary level of mental focus.

Though the Evileye Tyrant Monarch lacked a powerful physical body, its exceptional mental focus and mastery of mental powers made it a dangerous opponent even among Rank Seven beings.

As it soared high above the Grand Eye Demon World, gazing down upon its homeplane with an air of absolute dominion, the hundreds of millions of elite Eye Demon legions assembled below radiated terrifying power.

To the lower-ranking Eye Demons, the mere presence of their overlord was enough to fill them with fearless devotion!

Waves of purple miasma rolled and churned across the Grand Eye Demon World like tides of living mist.

Having only recently defected to the Gallant Federation, the Grand Eye Demon World remained largely untouched by the federation’s technology.

From high above, the Evileye Tyrant Monarch took in the sight of its world and the rising battle will of countless Eye Demons below.

The federation’s supreme commander in the Grand Eye Demon World’s star domain was a five-star general named Aveer Senhouse.

“I believe the Grand Eye Demon World still has a strong chance of holding out,” Aveer said firmly to his aide-de-camp and fellow commanders.

“As long as we stand our ground like a nail driven deep into the Grand Eye Demon World, meet the invading Magus Civilization legions head-on and persevere in our defense, we will inevitably usher in a turning point in this Clash of Civilizations!”

The man was a seasoned veteran of the Gallant Federation’s military.

Under the federation’s rank structure, each general commanded a full fleet of warships equivalent in might to a Rank Six lifeform.

A one-star general led a fleet on par with an early-stage Rank Six, a two-star with a mid-stage, a three-star with a late-stage, and a four-star with a peak Rank Six.

Having reached the peak of the general rank, Aveer was among the select few expected to one day rise to the rank of marshal.

Born into the Senhouse Family, a prestigious military lineage within the federation, Aveer had been groomed from a young age to become his family’s representative for his generation.

Barring unforeseen circumstances or death, Aveer was destined to command an overlord-class war fleet!

The fact that a five-star general from a prestigious military family, with virtually limitless potential, had been assigned to the Grand Eye Demon World’s star domain clearly showed that, at least at first, the Gallant Federation had no intention of abandoning it.

In fact, the federation had originally planned to deploy an overlord-class war fleet and an overlord-class interstellar fortress to this star domain!

However, the escalating crisis and shifting dynamics within the Netherworld Star Domain had forced the Gallant Federation to change its plans.

Five-star general Aveer, a military elite poised to advance to the marshal ranks, understood all too well the federation’s current deployments and the Grand Eye Demon World’s strategic importance.

Retreat was not an option.

The military did not tolerate desertion, and Aveer would never allow such a stain to tarnish the life he had built on honor and glory.

He saw only two paths ahead.

To endure in the Grand Eye Demon World Star Domain until the turning point came, earning the rank of marshal through valor and glory—or to die fighting in the Grand Eye Demon World!

Though the lifeforms of the Gallant Federation were often known for their fragile constitutions, they were no cowards.

“Defend the Grand Eye Demon World!” General Aveer declared, clenching his fist.

Under his command, the Gallant Federation’s fleets in the Grand Eye Demon World Star Domain began to mobilize.

Although the federation had assigned several generals to the Grand Eye Demon World front, Aveer was the only five-star general present.

His record of victories and his reputation within the military far surpassed those of the other commanders. Even the one-star to four-star generals were willing to follow his lead.

While overseeing the redeployment of the various federal warship fleets, Aveer came across a special group—the Black Ops!

This fleet was a secret force directly organized under the federal military. Its primary mission was not frontline engagement, but deep infiltration and surprise assaults behind enemy lines.

Its space-jumping capabilities rivaled those of overlord-class fleets, allowing it to operate far from support.

Even more impressive were its high-speed maneuverability, exceptional stealth systems, and devastating short-burst offensive capacity. Since its founding, the fleet had contributed greatly to the Gallant Federation.

Its only weakness lay in its limited endurance, making sustained engagements or prolonged pursuits difficult.

The federation’s strategy when using this fleet was to strike fast, vanish faster, and never give the enemy a chance to retaliate.

The supreme commander of Black Ops was a three-star federal general named Noxen. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

After a brief moment of contemplation, Aveer ordered his aide to establish communication with the capital ship of Black Ops.

“Our stance on the Grand Eye Demon World has changed. We must spare no effort to fulfill the mission entrusted to us by military command. But defense does not mean remaining passive. We must seize the initiative whenever possible,” Aveer stated.

“Deploy Noxen’s fleet to coordinate with our other special fleets. Their target will be the Magus Civilization’s logistics and supply planets. Disrupting those lines will ease the pressure on our front,” he ordered.
