Sovereign of the Ashes-Chapter 1579: White Stella’s Might
The crystalline blue trident appeared out of nowhere and pierced straight through the Sand Crocodile’s spine in a single, decisive strike.
Sein could tell that the creature had desperately tried to evade the blow at the last moment.
Yet a strange force of law suppression locked it in place, leaving the formidable Rank Five Sand Crocodile completely helpless.
This was the power of the sea!
Marvelous Plane was rich with life, its jungles and tropical rainforests spreading across vast stretches of land. Before the war, true wastelands had been rare.
In the Astral Realm, there was a saying that water was the source of life.
Marvelous Plane’s oceans were far more extensive than one might expect. While not as vast as those of Blue Star, they still covered nearly sixty percent of the surface.
When the crystalline blue trident descended, the origin law power contained within it seemed to resonate with the oceans of this low-level plane.
For a brief moment, the Rank Five Sand Crocodile was pinned in place by the very power of Marvelous Plane’s oceans!
A world-class secret treasure!
Without question, this crystalline blue trident was a world-class secret treasure!
After the Sand Crocodile was skewered in place, Sein faintly sensed a familiar aura coming from beyond the plane’s boundaries.
When he looked past Marvelous Plane’s barrier, the first thing that entered his vision was a colossal mermaid, her body stretching nearly ten thousand meters in length.
Then, near the giant mermaid’s earlobe, he noticed a tiny black dot—the true source of that familiar aura.
“Tourmaline?” Sein murmured in surprise.
The mermaid’s size rivaled that of an entire space fortress.
During Sein’s earlier clash with the Sand Crocodile, both had fought in their true forms.
Sein’s Ashen Demon form was only around a thousand meters tall, while the Sand Crocodile had expanded to more than three thousand meters.
Even so, both of them were almost laughably small when compared to White Stella.
Because of his friendship with Tourmaline, Sein already knew that White Stella’s ten-kilometer-tall physique was not the result of activating a true form. That was simply her natural size...
Tourmaline’s true form was likewise enormous. She was a colossal dragon turtle with a body spanning thousands of meters in diameter.
The petite form Tourmaline usually showed Sein was nothing more than a transformed appearance.
White Stella’s immense stature caused the world-class secret treasure in her grasp to grow dramatically in length, weight, and piercing power.
This treasured artifact of Magus World’s sea races was said to have once been the Mermaid Queen’s weapon. In terms of grade, it was no less formidable than that of the Faceless Mask.
Moreover, the Royal Trident was clearly being wielded to its fullest potential in White Stella’s hands.
It was a treasure perfectly matched to her attributes.
The crystalline blue trident pierced through the Sand Crocodile, and the once-ferocious Rank Five creature plummeted like a meteor, crashing straight toward the northern regions of Marvelous Plane.
The sudden turn of events stunned everyone present.
Sein was the first to react. Just as he prepared to fly north to intercept the Sand Crocodile, a painful groan sounded behind him.
Sein turned to see Queen Hippolyta naked and curled up. Her complexion was deathly pale.
When the Sand Crocodile’s fiery sandstorm had swept through, Sein had shielded her from most of it, but some of the flame energy still slipped through.
As a result, her tattered leather armor was completely destroyed by the flames.
Even with her Rank Five life level, Hippolyta could not muster enough divine power to conjure something to cover herself up. This was a clear sign of how badly injured she was.
In her current state, even a Rank Two or Rank Three creature might have been capable of becoming a “godslayer”.
A large part of Hippolyta’s weakness came from the negative effects of the radiation explosion.
For lifeforms encountering such radiation for the first time, the danger was indeed extreme.
Sein, by contrast, felt fine. He had undergone radiation-based body tempering long before reaching Rank Four, and his Rank Five lawful body was even more resistant to it.
The blue-purple crystal earlier had only surprised him with the sheer power of its explosion, but its radiative effect was unremarkable to him.
A beam of elemental light shot out from between Sein’s fingers.
The elemental robe it formed quickly wrapped around Hippolyta’s body.
With White Stella now on the battlefield, most Rank Four opponents posed little threat.
After instructing Kram and Yuri to escort Hippolyta back to the Ashen Fortress to recover, Sein turned and flew north alone.
***
In the northern battlefield...
The Rank Five Sand Crocodile plummeted from the sky, crashing straight into the ground and blasting out a massive crater.
Perhaps “basin” was a more accurate description.
The crystalline blue Royal Trident remained firmly lodged in the creature’s body, nailing it to the ground and rendering it immobile.
When Sein arrived, he could not help but marvel. Their earlier battle had left the Sand Crocodile weakened, and White Stella’s strike had come as a surprise.
Even so, the sheer force of that single blow made it clear that White Stella’s strength far surpassed his own.
She was clearly stronger than even Gregory.
Both Sein and Gregory walked the path of body tempering, placing them among close-combat mages.
Yet White Stella, with a natural physique stretching ten thousand meters, displayed terrifying melee power.
Her natural form alone was nearly ten thousand meters tall. One could only wonder whether she possessed an even more massive lawful body beyond that.
Thinking about it, Sein could not deny that bloodline power played a crucial role in determining a creature’s strength.
White Stella and Tourmaline’s extraordinary talent and overwhelming combat prowess owed much to the bloodlines they had inherited.
“Sein, let me help!” a clear voice called out from the sky.
What had been no more than a grain-sized speck instantly expanded into a dragon turtle so massive that even Sein was momentarily stunned.
Tourmaline looked even larger than he remembered.
Well, that was hardly surprising. After all, she was still “growing”.
After being apart for some time, it was natural for her to undergo changes, emerging with an even more majestic and imposing presence.
What had once been a somewhat adorable giant dragon head now exuded a faint but unmistakable aura of majesty.
A pair of enormous green arm-ribbons coiled around her body.
Then, razor-sharp dragon claws slammed down toward the spot where the Sand Crocodile lay pinned like a mountain!
Meanwhile, White Stella seemed rather concerned about Tourmaline.
After throwing the Royal Trident to subdue the Sand Crocodile, she also personally descended onto Marvelous Plane.
Whether it was due to the sheer number of law-wielding beings now present or the severely weakened state of this world, Sein felt the will of the plane tremble in pain when White Stella crossed the planar barrier and entered Marvelous Plane.
It was as if some colossal existence had been forcibly squeezed into a body that could barely contain it.
