Chapter 724: Isabella the Giant

"I assume you want proof that I truly am who I say I am." Eisen spoke in a dominating tone. None of the envoys said anything in response, although that was probably enough of an answer in itself. They felt too scared to admit they didn't believe Eisen, although that was clearly the case for most people here.

"Now, how do I prove that I am the existence I say I am?" Eisen asked into the room as he slowly moved his fingers through his beard in thought. He paced around the hall a bit, until finally Serio slowly nodded at Eisen.

"Ah, I know! How about I show you two beings of Divine Nature that will be able to verify this fact? Will you believe me then?" Eisen asked bluntly. All of a sudden, the envoys became nervous and confused at what this meant.

At the same time, the door to the throne room opened up as two figures walked into the room. One of them was Eisen's direct guest, and one of them was a being that made him terribly angry just looking at them like this.

"If I may welcome, the Devil Satel, and the Angel Ambriel. Now, you two, could you verify the fact that I am indeed Eisen, the first person in this world that reached the peak?" He asked. The envoys immediately jumped up and stepped to the side. Of course, their eyes were partially focused on Van Horgh. As an Archpriest, he must be able to figure out if they were truly divine beings or not with just a quick glance. 2

And Van Horgh was still there, bowing forward with his forehead pressed onto the floor. Clearly, they were truly the beings that Eisen said they were.

"Of course you are that Person. 'The first that peaked'. Hah, that must have given you quite some confidence to think you can-" Ambriel started, and Satel quickly interrupted them by punching their stomach with his elbow, "Yup, he really is Eisen. So all of you that are doubting him better shut the fuck up, or you can come right back to hell with me!"

"What are you speaking of, you have been bani-"

"Haha, Ambriel, always the jokester!" Satel exclaimed with a deep glare directed at the Angel. A bit startled and confused, Ambriel looked back at Satel and whispered, "I thought you wanted my help in killing that man for good. That you had a way to make sure he could not revive..."

"Eeh~? And you believed the words of a Devil so easily? What a dumbass~!" Satel exclaimed. Angry at being tricked like this, Ambriel looked at Eisen, ready to attack him on their own. But the moment that they locked eyes with each other, Ambriel's body froze up. This was the first time that the Angel saw the old man in this form. And the first time that Eisen tried to actively suppress Ambriel like this as well.

"Now..." Eisen stepped in front of the envoys with a bright smile on his face, a smile that soon faded as if it had been nothing but a lie in the first place. Instead, Eisen was putting direct pressure onto the envoys, "I hope you do not doubt my existence any longer. I am who I am. I did not owe you any sort of proof of this fact. However, I gave it to you; proof that you will have to accept, whether you want to or not. And now I ask of all of you that I see in front of me... for good relations between our countries."

The envoys looked up at Eisen and became filled with subtle fear, the kind that you felt right before you were about to do something you knew you shouldn't do.

"Now, I am sorry that I did not have much time today. We prepared some refreshments and snacks for you outside. Please go ahead and enjoy the weather a bit. There is just one person that I would like to stay behind for now." Eisen explained, slowly turning his head to the side to look at the Giant that was standing next to him, slowly nodding her head.

Eisen then locked eyes with Aaron for a moment and nodded, to tell him that he would call for him later, and then he had nearly all of the envoys leave the room. The old man took a deep breath and started to relax as he turned around and made his way back to his throne.

"Please, relax. There's no need for you to be so formal. I understand that you're the Daughter of the current Grandour?" The old man said, looking at the female Giant. With a quick nod, she looked back at Eisen, "Indeed, your Highness." She replied, although she clearly didn't let go of her formal mannerisms. That was her choice, so Eisen really didn't care too much.

"Can you explain the things mentioned in the letter in a bit more detail? It seems like there are quite hostile undertones within there." Eisen pointed out. The female Giant slowly nodded her head, "It is as you say. I am sure you heard about it, but the relations between the country of Giants and most countries controlling the central continent have become rather unstable in recent years. Therefore, the Clan Leaders concluded that you seem to be on the side of the central continent, and as such wanted to be careful in the way they approached you."

"Then I guess this is a good chance to make this clear. We are certianly not allied with any country in the central continent. We have good relations with some countries, but that doesn't imply that we will support them in any conflict. In general, this country will stay strictly neutral in any war. If we are attacked, we will retaliate. If we are given a proper reason to, we will attack. We will never gather any allies, no matter what anyone wishes of us." Eisen explained bluntly. The female Giant closed her eyes and let out a quiet breath.

"Your Majesty, do you realize that there are quite many countries that will see any act that doesn't directly help them as an act of aggression? In war, our country has often shown itself as such."

Eisen glared back at the female Giant and slowly rubbed the bridge of his nose, "I will pretend that I didn't hear that blatant threat right now and remind you of who we are, and where we are. We are the first five that peaked, and our country is placed on a group of islands that nobody else has ever managed to even approach. What makes you think that we would be scared of the mere threat of war?"

Eisen's words made the others in the room a bit surprised. He was saying things that they didn't expect him to. In particular, Brody was a bit worried, "Yo, I get that you're confident and all, but that doesn't mean that you should try and say provocative shit like that."

The old man turned his head toward Brody and lightly smiled, "Don't worry. I'm not being provocative. We giants are a race that love conflict. We aren't scared of things such as 'War'. Rather, the stronger the opponent, the more excited we get. Look at her, will you?" Eisen smiled lightly, and Brody turned his head toward the female Giant.

To his surprise, she actually had a slight smile on her face. But not only that, her fingernails were buried inside of her arm, and she seemed to be ready to jump up at any moment. Some would see this as anger, but in this context, Brody could only come to one conclusion...

"Is she... excited?" Brody asked with a wry smile, and Eisen couldn't help but smirk, "Isabella, was it? Drop the act and tell us what you really think."

"I think..." She replied instantly, "That this is a rather thrilling opportunity. What do you say about a short fight? One on one, just-"

"I refuse, obviously." Eisen sighed lightly, "But don't take this as disrespect, please. There is just no good outcome for our side. If we were to win, your country could twist this as us attacking an envoy that was sent for peace. Meanwhile, if you were to win, it would damage the image that I just attempted to establish for the past few hours. However, I have another suggestion. Return to your father, and tell him that I will come for a visit soon. One week from now, in fact. Prepare for any sort of official duel, and announce it to the public in the form of a 'display of good relations'. In that case, I will accept."

Isabella, the female Giant, looked back at Eisen. She seemed satisfied, "I understand. I will tell my father of this. If you do not mind, I would like to be on my way as soon as possible, however. To have the time to prepare for this."

"Of course. I will have one of our fastest vessels prepared for your trip." Eisen replied instantly, turning his head toward Serio, who quickly went on his way to do just that.

And just like that, the first Giant that Eisen met in this world already left again. And so, Eisen was able to take care of another business as all the others finally were able to relax, now that the show was officially over.

However, before anything else could happen, Eisen turned his head toward Ambriel who was currently being restrained using powerful magic that Xenia used on them to make sure they wouldn't cause any trouble during the rest of the audience.

Slowly, that Magic disappeared, and Ambriel was freed. The two beings that hated each other with their whole heart stared at each other for a moment.

"You tricked me, didn't you?" Ambriel asked with a deep glare, "How dare you, you disgusting, lesser being?"

"Ambriel. You're no longer in heaven, and I no longer have any obligation to hold myself back from killing you. Honestly, I would rather like having the parts of an Angel to experiment with."

"Then why don't you try to kill me? There is no way that you-"

Without a moment's hesitation, Eisen moved his hand forward and summoned his Demonic Greatsword from his Soul Storage. At his current size, it was just large enough so that the tip of the blade barely scratched the Angel's throat, "Don't worry, I will kill you soon enough. However, before then, there are a few things that I will have you explain to me. I despise you, but I will not let up the chance to use you to the greatest extent possible."
