Damon stared at the screen. One thrall he expected. Two? This meant that she had also become a thrall?

His thoughts drifted back to her standing at the door, dazed, mumbling that she needed to give him blood. That wasn't just sleepwalking. That was the bond talking.

The connection was very weak, but it was still there. He was also correct in thinking that her bloodline was a bit more special than this guy's bloodline.

"If I am not wrong, then she should have some ability related to ice?"

Then suddenly, a thought popped into his head. If he absorbed more blood from her, then could he also extract her ice-related ability in real life? Would the bond between them become stronger if he kept feeding on her?

It was not like he wanted to take advantage of her but she was right there and he needed more blood. Survival came first.

And he had more tests to run.

Damon looked at the infuriating guy in front of him who had a nice big smile on his face. "Let's go. Round 2." He did not to need to at the moment but he once again dug his fangs into the guy's neck and drained his blood.

Damon rubbed his chin. This was interesting. He had gained yet another stat point in luck, and when he checked the thrall status, the connection was still moderate. There was no change.

Hmmm. He did not give up. He spent the next hour draining the guy bit by bit and then letting his health regenerate. It helped that he had five health potions on him, which was really surprising.

However, at the end of the hour, there was simply no progress. He only managed to gain one more luck stat point, and that was that. The exercise was an absolute waste of time.

And if someone with no bloodline and no special ability was so hard to bring under control, then he could only imagine how difficult it would be to change the bond to that woman.

Damon gritted his teeth. His problem of finding a blood source in his real life was proving to be difficult.

Then another question popped into his mind. "What about turning someone into a vampire? Will I be able to do that?"

Contrary to the popular fantasy books, vampires in Earth Online could only be created under very specific conditions. Only needed to be a higher race within the vampiric hierarchy and possess a blood core. But since his bloodline was unique, perhaps there were exceptions?

Surprisingly, Bloodreign remained silent and did not respond.

Damon waited a while but moved on quickly. He was curious to test this out as well, but at the moment, he was short on time, so he did not bother messing with it just yet.

He turned to Panty Sniffer and started making arrangements. "Where are you from?"

"Italy." Panty Sniffer replied with a happy smile.

And Damon was currently in Vancouver. This was not going to work. "Fine, can you travel to this address as soon as possible?"

He gave him a random address near his home. He did not want to force him into any time frame, as he did not have a good grasp of the guy's financial status. Asking him to do something impossible might break the thrall bond.

"Is it possible? Can you do it? Do you have money?"

"Sure thing, boss." Panty Sniffer nodded with a big, beaming smile.

From Italy to Vancouver... "Can you make it within a couple of days? Do you have that Universal Travel Approved stamp?"

"Yes and yes to both, boss. Since I was young, I have always liked to travel, so I made sure to get-"

Damon quickly interrupted him. "That's fine. What about friends and family? Would anyone search if you were missing?"

"I am a very hard-working person by nature, boss. Take, for example, today I have been working since..." As the guy went on rambling once again, Damon rubbed his neck in frustration. "A simple yes or no would suffice."

Panty Sniffer looked hurt, but he replied anyway. "Yes, boss. No one would miss me."

"Good, and you have the money and everything?"

"Yes, boss."

"You are not some sort of criminal, are you?" Damon suddenly asked, just to make sure he was not getting into some deeper messy shit.

"No, boss. Of course, not. I am a very good person. In fact, just this morning, I helped an old lady cross the street and fed a stray cat!" Panty Sniffer said with a proud puff of his chest, like he'd just completed a divine mission.

Damon sighed. He didn't know whether to laugh or shake the guy by his shoulders. "Alright, alright. Just—stop talking."

The man fell obediently silent again, that same dumb grin still plastered across his face. Damon stared at him for a moment longer, his thoughts spinning faster than he could sort them. This guy was perfect in the worst possible way. How did he even pick up someone like this on the first try?

"Alright then, Rolan." Damon finally called him by name. Sure enough, the man's eyes practically sparkled. "Head to that address. I'll see you in a couple of days."

"Roger that, boss!" he saluted, like he was heading off to finish some office report and not flying across the globe to become a vampire's blood vending machine.

Damon's face twitched, watching the guy skip away, literally skip away. One blood problem might be solved, assuming the guy really showed up. Which meant... it was time to deal with the other.

The small issue of his real-life blood shortage for the next couple of days.
