SSS-Rank Talent: Super Upgrade System-Chapter 134: Raise It!
Chapter 134: Raise It!
Daniel let out a long, slow breath, a proud grin spreading across his face.
He recalled the exhausted but triumphant Nyx into his ring, promising her all the SS-Grade jerky she could eat.
He now knew her true limit, and the incredible potential that still lay dormant within her.
He then stepped forward into the empty white space, cracking his knuckles.
The A-Grade Kinetic Void Gauntlets on his hands hummed softly.
"Alright," he thought, a cold fire in his eyes. "My turn."
The silence in the plaza was absolute. The assembled aspirants and Academy staff had just witnessed a Level 20 familiar not only defeat the unbeatable Sango but undergo a draconic evolution while doing it.
The sheer impossibility of it all was still sinking in when Director Gareth Sterling, his face now a mask of obsessive fascination, roared a new command.
"Don’t stop! Raise it! Four times the strength! I want to see what the boy himself can do!"
The technicians, now looking like they were praying to whatever gods governed power grids, complied.
The test pod containing Daniel groaned audibly, the very metal of its reinforced hull seeming to protest the immense energy being channeled into it.
The wind picked up across the plaza, not from any weather system, but from the sheer displacement of energy around the single pod.
Inside, the world reformed. freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
The 4x Sango materialized, and it was a terrifying sight.
It was now over three meters tall, its featureless form radiating an aura of pure, crushing force.
The simple spear it once held had been replaced by a heavy, wicked-looking poleaxe, its blade glowing with a dangerous, unstable light.
It felt less like a training dummy and more like a virtual executioner.
Daniel stood before it, a calm, almost predatory smile on his face.
He had seen what Nyx could do. Now it was time to calibrate himself, to test his own myriad abilities systematically, from the ground up.
He needed to understand the limits of each tool in his arsenal.
"Alright," he murmured to himself, settling into a low fighting stance.
"Let’s start with the basics. No weapons, no speed skills, no elemental tricks. Just pure, unadulterated fisticuffs."
The 4x Sango charged. It moved with a speed and power that would have instantly overwhelmed any other Level 12 Awakened.
Its poleaxe swung in a whistling arc, aimed to cleave Daniel in two.
The wind shrieked with the force of its attack.
"Boom!"
Daniel didn’t dodge the attack.
He met the charge head-on. He activated his B+-Grade [Savage Might+], his muscles swelling with a significant boost to his already immense Strength.
Then, he channeled the foundational power of his S-Grade [Solar Flare Fist Art].
His hands, clad in their A-Grade gauntlets, ignited, glowing with the white-hot intensity of miniature suns.
He didn’t just block the poleaxe, he punched it.
"BOOM! KRA-KOW!"
The sound of impact was a physical explosion.
A visible shockwave of force erupted outwards, shattering the virtual ground beneath them.
The Sango’s poleaxe, upon contact with Daniel’s solar-infused fist, shattered, the virtual metal groaning and melting from the sheer, overwhelming combination of kinetic force and incandescent heat.
Sango stumbled back, its weapon arm momentarily disabled.
Daniel pressed his advantage. He became a blur of motion, a flurry of blazing punches, each one landing with the force of a wrecking ball.
The virtual space resonated with a continuous, thunderous "BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!" as his fists met Sango’s body, shattering its form faster than its regeneration could keep up.
With a final, devastating uppercut, Daniel completely obliterated the 4x Sango.

Outside, Travis Standen was hyperventilating with joy.
"Did you see that?! Pure martial arts! He didn’t even use his speed! The raw power... it’s divine!"
Director Sterling didn’t even wait for a report. "Five times!" he roared. "Now!"
The pod shuddered again. The 5x Sango appeared.
It was even larger, its form now crackling with a faint elemental resistance aura. It immediately lunged.
Daniel smirked. "Okay, fists are good for 4x. Let’s try some magic."
He didn’t use his S-Grade speed skill. He simply relied on his raw Agility to weave and dodge Sango’s powerful but now comparatively slower attacks.
As he moved, his hands became conduits of elemental chaos.
From his right hand, a torrent of chilling blue soulfire erupted, a gift from his very first familiar.
From his left, a burst of searing white frostfire shot out.
He stomped his foot, and jagged spears of crackling lightning, his assimilated A-grade skill, shot up from the virtual floor, impaling Sango’s legs.
The soulfire burned at its virtual spirit, the frostfire shattered its physical form, and the lightning disrupted its energy matrix, slowing its regeneration to a crawl.
With a final, contemptuous wave of his hand, Daniel unleashed a focused blast of all three elements at once.
"BOOM! FZZZZT-CRACKLE!"
The 5x Sango was torn apart from the inside out, dissolving into a shower of glittering, multi-colored data motes.

The crowd in the plaza was utterly silent now.
The casual, systematic destruction was beyond anything they could comprehend.
Director Sterling, his face pale but his eyes blazing with a feverish light, pointed a trembling finger at the technicians.
"Six times," he whispered, his voice hoarse. "Raise it to six."
The technicians looked at their consoles, then at the Director, their faces filled with pure terror.
"Sir," one of them stammered, "the Origin Power Core... it’s already diverting nearly thirty percent of its output to this single pod.
The lights in the upper residential sectors are starting to flicker. We... we can’t push it much further!"
Director Sterling’s gaze was unyielding. "I didn’t ask if you could. I told you to do it!"
"Sir, the core can’t handle it!" the head technician shrieked, his face pale and slick with sweat as he stared at his glowing console.
"The Origin Power Core is already diverting nearly forty percent of its output to that single test pod!
The lights in the main cafeteria are flickering!
People’s nutrient paste is getting cold! If we push it to 6x, we risk a cascading brownout across the entire Upper House!"
