Star Ship Girl Era: My Shipgirls Are Too Overpowered-Chapter 53: Catching Up With The Triplets
But before he could think much about that, he received a message from the triplets.
Mirei: Hey, Aurelian, are you done over there?
Seeing this, he quickly typed his message back: Yeah, what’s up?
Mirei: Is that so? Great, then let’s meet up and catch up. My sisters and I are very interested in the Sea Trials mission that led you to fight the Omnics.
With this message sent, Aurelian thought for a moment, then gave a straightforward reply: "Sure, tell me when and where; also, it’s just a normal mission."
Mirei then sent back the location and date for the meet-up, to which Aurelian simply replied: "Sure."
After seeing this, Mirei sent another message: "Make sure you give a good, detailed explanation."
After seeing the message, Aurelian smiled a little because, no matter how much they tried, they still had that certain way of showing their interest, which was both obvious and understandable.
Then, with the conversation over, Aurelian messaged his parents, both his father and mother, in their separate accounts.
He did not lie or exaggerate; he just laid down the facts.
He told them he had awakened a second purple-grade shipgirl and had become a Tier II commander, and that he would need resources and discretion soon because the academy would ask more questions once he stopped being just a promising cadet.
That is everything, nothing more and nothing less.
It was the least noisy way to tell them, so they knew the situation he was in without misunderstanding each other, which is something Aurelian always makes sure to avoid when dealing with family, because it was not necessary if you have good, simple communication.
He got a simple reply from them both: congratulations, and that there will be a celebration later, along with a single question: do you need anything right now?
He replied: I will message when I need something, because there was no point asking for things he could get from the academy through family channels if he did not need them urgently, which he did not as of now, so the offer was just a promise rather than a solution.
After that was all settled, he thought about it, and after letting the ship girls go to their quarters, which were near his own dorm, he decided to take a shower before going to meet the triplets.
As the warm water covered him, he thought about the new things that came with his promotion, which made him feel very comfortable and powerful, but also meant he was no longer the same as he used to be.
No, he is bigger, and with that being a Tier II, the whole system also started to upgrade itself, as did the starship’s power and function.
And while thinking about these changes, he realized the Destiny System that gave him all the clues and the advantage he needed was still in his head, giving him a very distinct, but at the same time very useful, piece of information that not everyone could have.
But while the Destiny System was good, he soon understood what kind of thing it was.
It gave him clues about things he had not thought about before, which was helpful in building a strong base to stand on when entering unknown territory fraught with danger.
And as long as he followed the correct path, the system would make sure to give him a proper clue about it that would enable him to overcome it.
But while it gave him clues on what would happen, it would also be the one to provide danger because it had also started to give him clues that seemed to make him go into dangerous situations, but he is up for the challenge because he knows that without going to these dangerous places, he will not grow up quickly.
Then, with those thoughts passing through his mind, he got out of the bath and started to put on the clean set of clothes that he brought with him.
While doing this, a smile soon broke out on his face because the clothes were very comfortable, as usual.
After he finished putting on the comfortable clothes, a fresh feeling came out of him as a new wave of energy coursed through his veins and into his body.
This feeling was, of course, the change he felt when he became a Tier II commander, which brought with it many small changes that all added up to a big one that would make him stronger than before.
And now, with a fresh feeling passing through his body after he got out of the bath, he wants to grow even stronger, and as he does, his own lifespan will also grow, which makes him and every commander similar to immortals who command ship girls and conquer planets.
But he had no time for those far-off things now, as it’s still too early to think about those things, and because of that, he walked out of his dorm with a confident smile on his face and a spring in his steps.
After walking out, he noticed many changes, like the building’s security being stricter and the dorms becoming better.
This change was for sure because he had shown great improvement that could not be ignored by those who rule, so they changed things to make it more convenient for the strong.
’As always, it’s the survival of the fittest,’ thought Aurelian to himself with a light smirk.
He then walked out of the building that housed many other commanders who had started awakening ship girls just like him, but most of them were out, as they all needed to level up to keep up with the class.
But he didn’t have that worry because of what he did just a few days ago; instead, he kept walking towards the destination written in the text from Mirei with a peace of mind, making sure to follow the path precisely.
And, as he expected, the location was not on any of the main streets because they wanted to keep it a private and secret affair so that no one else would disturb them.
