Starforce Warriors-Chapter 659: Enraged Li Xiaofei
Chapter 659: Enraged Li Xiaofei
Huang Dinggou realized he had fallen into a trap. But it was already too late. Wanli Hall was completely surrounded. Everyone present was a trusted and highly skilled subordinate of Nie Yuntao. Escape was impossible.
“Nie Yuntao, a real man takes responsibility for his actions,” said Huang Dinggou. Suppressing the terror in his heart, he forced his voice to harden. “This has nothing to do with the Bai sisters. Let them go.”
“Heh, do you take me for a fool?” Nie Yuntao sneered coldly, “I already knew you’d be hiding here... I’ll give you one chance. Tell me where Li Qingchen is, and I’ll let the three of you live.”
Huang Dinggou’s teeth chattered slightly. But the more dangerous the situation became, the clearer his mind grew.
He said, “Even if I tell you where Brother Chen is hiding, you still won’t let me go.”
“Hahaha.” Nie Yuntao laughed loudly. “I didn’t expect a low-level gang rat like you to have a bit of a brain. Fine then, tell me where Li Qingchen is, and I’ll let these two sluts live.”
Huang Dinggou glanced at the Bai sisters. The two of them shook their heads in unison.
Huang Dinggou steeled his heart and said, “I won’t tell you even if you beat me to death.”
“Oh? Trying to act tough with me?” Nie Yuntao sneered, “You earn a few kilograms of celestial jade a month, and you’re playing the hero now?”
Huang Dinggou gritted his teeth and said nothing.
Nie Yuntao smirked darkly as he asked, “Even if you’re made of iron, what about them?”
He pointed at Bai Xuan and Bai Zhi.
“These two little whores with soft skin and tender flesh. How much torture do you think they can take? I’ve got fifty brothers here. Even if each one takes a turn, they’ll be crippled by the end. Then I’ll find the best medic to heal them up... and we’ll start over. Heh. Huang Dinggou, are you really going to stand there and watch them get humiliated right in front of you?”
“You... Are you even human?” Huang Dinggou couldn’t hold back and cursed, “There are rules in the underworld. Families are off-limits! You’ll be struck by lightning for this!”
“Men, do it,” said Nie Yuntao, his face twisted with cruelty. “Strip them and line up one by one.”
A few gang martial artists burst into laughter and rushed forward.
“No! Get away!” Bai Zhi screamed as she shrank into her sister Bai Xuan’s arms.
A hint of determination flashed in Bai Xuan’s eyes. She pulled the golden hairpin from her hair and drove it toward her sister’s temple.
The hairpin was laced with deadly poison. If they could draw a single drop of blood, death would follow. Since there was no way out, she would give her sister a quick end first, then take her own life. Even in death, she would never betray Brother Chen.
Ding!
A crisp sound rang out. A flash of sword light shot from Nie Yuntao’s hand, knocking the hairpin away.
“You want to die? Not so easy,” said Nie Yuntao.
He had been on guard against this from the beginning. Huang Dinggou’s eyes nearly split from rage. But he was held back by several experts so he couldn’t change anything.
“Haha! Let me have the first taste!” said a middle-aged expert with a shoehorn-shaped face as he reached out, grabbing the collar of Bai Xuan’s dress, ready to tear it off with force. At that moment—
Swish!
A dark light tore through the wall. A pitch-black meteoric iron spear shot forward like divine thunder, instantly piercing through the chest of the shoehorn-faced man. It carried him four or five meters away, pinning him alive to the wall.
“Who’s there?!” Nie Yuntao shouted.
A white figure flashed into the room.
Bang!
The hall doors exploded into splinters. Everyone saw a blur before their eyes as a figure, dressed in pure white as pristine as snow, appeared in the hall.
It was Li Qingchen! He yanked the spear free of the wall. The shoehorn-faced man’s corpse dropped to the floor with a dull thud, blood pooling silently beneath him.
The other gang members looked terrified. For a moment, not a single one dared to step forward.
“You were looking for me?” asked Li Xiaofei, looking straight at Nie Yuntao.
Just that one glance sent a chill down the spine of the newly favored rising star of the gang.
“Fuck... Ugly bastard,” said Nie Yuntao, taking a few steps back as he gritted his teeth and cursed. His bravado was barely covering his nervousness. “You’re fat as a pig, but you’re still wearing white and trying to act cool... What, you think you’re some kind of legendary swordsman?”
Li Xiaofei was instantly rattled. He had been a symbol of handsomeness all his life. Even the most casual gesture from him would make countless girls swoon in their dreams. But now? He had become a fatty.
“Fuck your mother, I’ll stab your damn mouth open!” shouted Li Xiaofei furiously as he thrusted his spear forward.
Nie Yuntao had long been on guard. He raised his twin swords, crossing them into an X-shape to block. The power of earth laws surged, forming an orange-yellow sword-disc shield in front of him.
This was his trump card, something he had painstakingly cultivated over the past few days, specifically to defend against Li Qingchen. But, it was worthless.
Boom!
The spear light shattered the sword-disc shield. The spear tip pierced through Nie Yuntao’s left shoulder in the blink of an eye. Blood exploded into the air and bone fragments bounced off the ground.
Nie Yuntao felt a sudden lightness on his left side. His left shoulder, along with his entire arm, had vanished.
“Ahhh—!” He let out a scream and immediately activated a teleportation talisman, shifting ten meters away in an instant.
“Trash. How dare you come after me with that level of skill?” said Li Xiaofei. He hefted his spear as he advanced slowly.
On the other side, Nie Yuntao’s soul nearly fled his body. A bone-chilling cold surged from his tailbone, climbing up his spine as if it would blast his skull open.
What is going on?! The strength of this Chongque weirdo seemed to have grown even more!
Li Xiaofei stood protectively in front of the Bai sisters. Huang Dinggou seized the moment and dashed over, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Li Xiaofei.
“Come on, you bunch of trash! You actually dared to come after the two of us? Pathetic, you’re not even worth the effort!” shouted Huang Dinggou with a straight back and puffed out chest as he loudly provoked them.
Li Xiaofei kicked him lightly, “Take care of Little Bai and Little Bai first.”
Huang Dinggou quickly nodded and replied, “Alright, alright.”
He immediately turned around, took out some healing medicine, and began tending to Bai Zhi and Bai Xuan’s wounds. He also covered them with clothing to protect their dignity.
“Brother Chen, you’ve been exposed. You can’t stay here for long,” Bai Zhi said through her pain, trying to warn him.
Li Xiaofei shook his spear.
“It’s fine.” He spoke calmly, “If soldiers come, I’ll face them; if water floods, I’ll block it. I have my own plans.”
He was strong enough now. After this period of closed-door cultivation, there was no longer any need to hide.
Li Xiaofei gripped his spear and strode forward. Although his body was wrapped in fat, and every step seemed to make his flesh tremble, the aura he exuded was like an ancient divine mountain—stable and unfathomably deep.
Nie Yuntao felt as if a primordial behemoth was bearing down on him.
“Stop him! Stop him now!” shouted Nie Yuntao as he rapidly retreated backward.
At the same time, over a dozen gang members brandished their swords and sabers, forming a rather sophisticated joint attack formation as they closed in on Li Xiaofei. However, Li Xiaofei’s strength had far surpassed the limits of what they could defend against. Their blades shattered and their flesh was torn apart by just a single thrust of his spear.
Four or five gang members screamed as their bodies were reduced to mangled limbs that flew backward like broken dolls. No one could withstand even a single blow from the spear.
Nie Yuntao’s face turned deathly pale with fear. His soul nearly left his body as he spun around, desperate to flee. Just then—
Swish!
Two beams of deathly light shot toward Li Xiaofei from afar. The eerie, silent rays carried a terrifying killing force. Li Xiaofei’s heart tensed in shock.
Clang! Clang!
Li Xiaofei thrust his spear into the air. Spear light scattered like cold stars in the dark night.
Bang! Bang!
The death rays were deflected. However, the meteoric iron spear that Li Xiaofei had hastily purchased was also destroyed as the spear tip exploded. The only thing that remained in his hand was a burnt stick.
Four figures, moving at incredible speed, streaked through the air and landed in front of Shenyin Pavilion’s Wanli Hall from a thousand meters away. The four each landed east, west, north and south of Li Xiaofei, perfectly encircling him.
The man standing in the east was the leader. He had a square face, fair complexion, and wore black-framed glasses. There was a faintly sinister, ruthless aura about him.
It was none other than Ma Tuo, who had recently been promoted to Deputy Gang Leader of Exploding Star Gang.
“Master, you’re finally here!” Nie Yuntao gasped like a drowning man who had just surfaced, “I lured out Li Qingchen, that fat pig!”
