Chapter 124: Chapter 124

"This is nothing. It’s just the stuff I can talk about," Shuichi sighed deeply, as if there were countless unspoken hardships weighing on him.

"Isn’t this bullying?!" Yūsuke exclaimed angrily. "This is too much! You don’t have to put up with this!"

Shuichi shook his head. "For someone like me, an introverted, anime-obsessed guy, being able to even live like this is already pretty good. What else can I ask for?"

"Not at all, not at all! Being into anime doesn’t mean you deserve this. And you, Chiba-san, are so handsome. You could definitely find someone better suited for you."

"If it’s really that bad, I could introduce you to the manager of our team. She’s pretty cute and really good at taking care of people." Yūsuke offered enthusiastically.

Shuichi was a bit taken aback. Wait, you’re offering to introduce me to a girl? You’re actually kind of a good guy, huh?

"What are you all doing here? Don’t you have class?" At that moment, a stern voice echoed from outside the bathroom.

Shuichi immediately recognized it—it was Sumire.

The students gathered at the door quickly parted, making way for the female teacher to enter.

Right behind her was Uchida!

Shuichi instantly realized what had happened—Uchida had sneaked off to find reinforcements. He had misunderstood him earlier; Uchida was actually loyal.

As soon as Sumire entered and saw Shuichi cornered by a muscular guy, her eyebrows immediately shot up.

She walked over quickly, standing in front of Shuichi, and turned to face Yūsuke with a cold expression. "Name. Class."

"Huh? This... you’re mistaken, Nagase-sensei," Yūsuke stammered, clearly taken aback by the teacher’s reputation for being strict.

"I’m asking you for your name and class. Didn’t you hear me?" Sumire scolded sharply.

Yūsuke’s scalp tingles from the pressure. "Yūsuke Takeshima , Class 2."

Without saying another word, Sumire pulled out her phone and dialed the homeroom teacher of Class 2. "Come to the third-floor men’s restroom immediately."

"Teacher, you misunderstood. Takeshima-san just asked me a few questions; he didn’t do anything inappropriate." Shuichi quickly intervened, offering an explanation.

After all, Yūsuke was planning to introduce him to a girl. It wouldn’t be right to let things escalate.

Yūsuke immediately shot Shuichi a grateful look. If this situation led to him being accused of bullying, things could get really bad.

Because of Tsuki being the president, the school’s discipline and management were exceptionally strict. Any issues like this were dealt with immediately, with no leniency.

There had even been students expelled for similar matters.

"Really? You can tell the teacher the truth, don’t be afraid," Sumire said, turning to Shuichi.

However, as soon as her eyes landed on his delicate, handsome face, her heart began to race uncontrollably again.

Ugh, no... I really want to keep protecting him like this!

"Really," Shuichi blinked, a playful gleam in his eyes. "The teacher knows me, I’m never afraid to speak the truth."

Sumire snapped out of her dazed state. Of course! This guy was smooth-talking and always playing tricks on people—what was she worried about?

If he could so openly admit to doing things like this, what else would he be afraid to say?

She suddenly felt a wave of irritation. How could she think of protecting this sly bastard? He didn’t need any protection!

Turning her gaze, she shifted her frustration to Yūsuke. With sharp eyes, she coldly said:

"Although this isn’t bullying, trapping a classmate in the bathroom like this is still unacceptable. When your homeroom teacher arrives, I’ll have him contact your parents."

Yūsuke immediately nodded, looking miserable. At least he wouldn’t get a demerit.

Before Sumire could say anything else, the door to the bathroom opened again—Tsuki stepped in.

Tsuki exuded an even stronger aura than Sumire. As she walked through the crowd, everyone instinctively stepped aside.

She approached the group, glanced at the situation, and then coldly turned her gaze to Yūsuke . "Confess on your own, or do you want to go to the student council to confess?"

"..." Yūsuke felt numb.

He looked over at Shuichi’s companion, who had gone off to seek help—how clever! Meanwhile, where was his own friend?

Just as he thought that, the saying "speak of the devil and he shall appear" came true.

Ren had returned—and he wasn’t alone. He was accompanied by the principal.

The principal was a kind-looking old man, his hair somewhat graying, but still quite healthy in appearance. He entered with a smile, saying cheerfully:

"I told you, our school’s students would never do anything so outrageous. It must be a misunderstanding. There’s no need to worry, good communication will resolve this—"

"Principal, sorry to interrupt, but matters of school discipline fall under the jurisdiction of the student council," Tsuki said expressionlessly. "As for how to discipline the offending students, it shouldn’t be something that requires your involvement, right?"

"..." The principal wiped the sweat from his forehead with a handkerchief. "Well, true as that may be, this has escalated quite a bit. It wouldn’t look good if we let it slide..."

"Since you’ve already acknowledged that, please feel free to head back," Tsuki said flatly, shutting him down.

The principal: "..."

Sumire couldn’t help but twitch her lips at the scene. She took a small step back and whispered to Shuichi, "The principal always tries to smooth things over. I’ve been wanting to shut him down for a long time."

"Teacher, I’m so touched that you came to protect me. It seems like you really care about me," Shuichi whispered back with a teasing smile.

Sumire’s heart skipped a beat, and she retorted stubbornly, "I would do the same for any other student, don’t get all full of yourself."

"Really? I don’t believe you," Shuichi blinked. "Wasn’t your foot hurting just now? You were walking a bit strangely."

"..."

Sumire’s heart skipped a beat as she realized he had noticed. She had been trying to hide the pain from her foot all this time, thinking she had covered it well, but he had spotted it...

"Later, let’s go to the infirmary. I’ll help the teacher with a massage," Shuichi said softly, lowering his head slightly.

The warm breath brushed against the back of her neck, making her tense up, her heart racing from the thrill.

To flirt with her so openly in public like this!

What a brazen little punk!

But everyone’s attention was on Tsuki confronting the principal, so no one noticed them.

The principal finally couldn’t withstand the pressure. He was only ever good at smoothing things over and couldn’t outtalk the stubborn Tsuki. In the end, he just shook his head and left.

Uchida winked at Ren, the meaning clear without words: ’The backup you called is useless.’

Ren shrugged helplessly. Who could’ve known the student council president would show up too? If it was just Teacher Nagase, it might’ve worked.

"Don’t you all have classes to attend?" Tsuki’s icy gaze swept the room, and instantly, the students scattered like frightened animals.

Shuichi couldn’t help but jab, "Teacher, your authority is nowhere near the student council president’s. Same words, but the effect is worlds apart."

Sumire’s eyelid twitched. Gritting her teeth, she snapped, "You ungrateful brat! I sprained my ankle trying to save you, and now you’re taking shots at me?!"

"Huh? The teacher admitted that they specifically came to save me? Not every student gets that kind of treatment?" Shuichi’s lips curled into a slight smile.

Sumire: "..."

As the crowd dispersed, only Shuichi, Yūsuke , and their respective friends remained in the bathroom, along with two reinforcements from the same side.

At this point, it could be said that the situation was completely one-sided.

Yūsuke was numb, too scared to look at Tsuki. After all, this whole incident started because of the president’s younger sister. If it came out, he might just die of embarrassment right there!

"Alright, alright, it’s over. You guys can go back now."

Seeing that it was all his people now, Shuichi didn’t hide it anymore. He directly stepped forward to end the farce and signaled Yūsuke and the others to leave.

"The matter isn’t cleared up yet..." Tsuki frowned slightly.

"It’s fine, I’ll explain everything to the president later," Shuichi stopped her and signaled for Yūsuke and the others to hurry up and leave.

Yūsuke hesitated for a moment but was still dragged away by Ren. Before leaving, he threw a grateful look.

The president is usually so ruthless behind the scenes. With today’s situation causing such a scene and bringing so much trouble to everyone, Chiba-kun will definitely be severely bullied, right?

Even though he knew all this, he still stood up to help explain. Truly...

Shuichi wasn’t sure what kind of thoughts Yūsuke had been imagining, but he felt that look was somewhat like admiration, which immediately gave him goosebumps.

Could it be that today’s damned charm was off the charts, not just attracting girls but also...?

Thinking this, he looked at Uchida. Luckily, his good buddy seemed normal.

"Uh... I’ve done everything I can. The rest, you’re on your own?" Uchida shrank his neck, mimed something, and then quietly sneaked away.

"..."

Shuichi rolled his eyes. As expected, no loyalty—he just dumped him to deal with the two fierce women and ran off.

The class bell rang, and Sumire immediately said, "Since everything’s settled, I’ll be leaving now."

Nothing bad had happened, and she was relieved. She couldn’t be bothered to get involved any further.

"Wait a moment, Teacher."

"What?!" Sumire’s eyelids twitched. The student council president was here, and he still dared to act out?

"It’s nothing, just..." Shuichi turned to Tsuki. "Let’s have the teacher reintroduce herself."

"Chiba-kun, are we revealing everything now?" Tsuki paused for a moment, then asked excitedly.

She had been looking forward to this day for a long time!

"Reveal... reveal everything?" Sumire’s heart suddenly skipped a beat, and a terrifying guess floated in her mind.

Earlier this morning, Ichika had asked about Tsuki, and had specifically mentioned both her and Shuichi together. Could it be...?

Shuichi raised an eyebrow and pinched Tsuki’s chin. "What did you call me?"

"Mas... Master..." Tsuki instantly lost her usual student council president demeanor, her voice softening.

"You two..." Sumire stared in shock, her mouth agape, unable to believe her eyes as she looked at Tsuki, who seemed like a completely different person. "She called you Master?!"
