Chapter 61: A Caring Wife

Zhen Rou is an elegant woman.

But even elegant women could become sex-crazed when they haven’t shared a bed with their strong husband for so many months.

She made sure to feed Li Qingmu properly so he would have enough energy to crush her body into the most unnatural positions and pound her into submission.

This wife is crazy.

"Husband... I’ve waited too long for this."

She said that then ripped off his robes.

In just a few seconds.

Li Qingmu had her pinned against the wall.

Her thighs were wrapped tightly around his waist and he kept thrusting deep into her, like he was trying to use his stiff dragon covered in veins to poke some hidden treasure buried inside her tight little peach.

"Ah—!"

Outside, Li Zimo’s ears turned pink.

She was sitting cross-legged on the porch as she cradled the little newborn while a ruffled Li Er tried to look anywhere but at the abode.

Another moan slipped through the paper-thin walls.

It was always long and high.

You would think Li Qingmu is sleeping with a wolf.

Li Zimo slapped her hands over her ears.

"Er-er! It’s starting again!"

Li Er’s solemn little face flushed crimson.

He scooped up the baby with gentleness.

"We should take younger brother outside."

"But it’s so hot today..."

Li Zimo whined.

But then came that thump-thump sound followed by Zhen Rou’s breathless pleas.

"Please, husband—harder—yes, like that—!"

Li Er stood up abruptly, face burning.

"We’re going to the stream. Now."

They fled.

The entire afternoon belonged to the couple.

Li Qingmu took his wife against the wall, on the floor, bent over the small table—every surface of the cramped abode became sacred ground.

Zhen Rou’s bedroom noises got him harder.

Sometimes soft whimpers.

Sometimes shameless cries.

At one point, the heat became too much.

Li Qingmu stepped outside in robes and barefooted to receive some cool air.

Hiding behind a boulder with the baby, Li Zimo peeked out and sighed in relief.

"Finally! Father’s done!"

Li Er nodded stiffly.

"We can go back—"

The door slammed open again.

Li Qingmu rushed back in to find his wife.

Moments later, the noises resumed.

"Husband—too deep—ahh—I’m going to—! ♥️"

Li Zimo buried her face in her hands.

"He went back in! Why did he go back in?!"

Ears scarlet, Li Er gnashed his teeth.

"We’re staying here until nightfall."

They did.

By then the abode was finally quiet.

Zhen Rou lay boneless in Li Qingmu’s arms as sweat rolled from her flushed rose body to his own.

They were both still naked.

The wife hid her burning face against his chest.

"I... I didn’t faint once this time..."

Li Qingmu stared down at her in mild wonder as he traced lazy circles on her bare back. He tugged her closer by the waist until she was draped half across him.

"Where did my shy little wife learn to be so brutally wicked in bed?"

Zhen Rou squeaked and hid her face more.

He gave one soft buttock a possessive squeeze.

"That mouth—Rou-er, you nearly killed me."

Her ears went scarlet.

She mumbled into his sweaty chest.

"S-, Senior Sister Su... when she’s not busy with elder duties, she... she tells me things. Like how to pleasure a man and all that stuff..."

Li Qingmu’s brows shot up.

Su Liyue was still a pure woman so she likely learned them from dual cultivation manuals.

A wicked grin touched his face.

"Remind me to thank Liyue properly when we return." 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

Zhen Rou’s glow dimmed instantly.

She bit her lip as her eyes watered.

"Does that mean... you won’t come back with me?"

The tremor in her voice pierced him.

Li Qingmu pulled her fully into his arms and pressed a tender kiss to her forehead.

"Rou-er, listen. Earlier, before we got in bed, I told you about Chen Yuxuan and the supreme yin constitution lady I’ve been searching for. I have to finish that matter first. Then I’ll come home."

Her lashes trembled.

She was on the verge of tears.

"You haven’t even married them yet... and already there’s no time for me..."

"No, no, no."

He cupped her face, thumbs stroking her cheeks.

"Don’t ever think that. What man would be foolish enough to neglect his wives?"

She sniffled and nodded submissively.

"I... I’m not happy about it. But we only just settled our first big fight so I’ll accept it."

She grumbled a bit.

"For now."

His smile was soft.

"Good girl. And—speaking of reconciliation—I have something for you."

Her pink eyes lit up instantly.

"A present!?"

He stretched to fish a bottle from beneath the pile of torn robes and placed it in her palm.

Zhen Rou snuggled closer and popped the cork.

Inside gleamed a single golden pill that swirled with six layers of spirit refinement.

Far superior to any beauty pill he’d gifted before.

Li Qingmu gently caressed her thigh.

"Eat this when you get home and your cultivation will surely skyrocket by tomorrow."

To at least Peak Foundation Establishment.

He waited for her radiant smile.

Instead, she burst into loud, hiccuping tears.

Li Qingmu jolted upright in panic.

"Rou-er!? Did I say something stupid!?"

He started thinking of ways to make it up to her.

She only cried harder as she clutched the pill bottle between her sweaty breasts.

"H-, Husband is the best man in the entire world—!"

She hiccuped.

"You always give me such precious gifts... it makes me feel so special..."

Relief flooded him.

He clutched his heart dramatically.

"Aiya, woman, you’ll be the death of me."

He gathered her close again.

"Never think I don’t want you. No matter how many wives I take, you will always be precious to me. If not, why would I fight so hard for us?"

She was still crying softly.

He wiped a tear with his thumb.

"Just trust me."

Zhen Rou nodded obediently.

"Mhm..."

He leaned down and kissed her.

Half an hour later.

They had a languid bath in a small stream.

Rou’er insisted on washing every inch of him herself.

Later, they emerged in fresh bathrobes.

In the courtyard.

They found the children.

Li Zimo was curled into a tiny ball on the stone bench as she snored softly.

Li Er sat against the peach tree where he slept with his tired baby brother in his arms.

Zhen Rou’s hand flew to her lips.

"Aww... they waited for us all day."

She leaned into Li Qingmu and slipped her hand inside his robe to caress his bare chest.

"That’s kind of hot, husband."

He grinned as his arm tightened around her waist.

"Isn’t it?"

Her gaze softened on the children.

"So these are just two of the many little ones from your concubines. They look well cared for."

"I send resources every month."

"Wouldn’t it be better to bring them to live in the family palace instead? With us?"

He shook his head at once.

"I’d never disrespect you like that."

No sane man drags his concubines and their children into his marital home.

Zhen Rou pressed a soft kiss to his neck.

"I’m fine with it. I’ll hire extra servants and make sure they have the best tutors—everything."

His eyes widened.

"Really?"

She winked playfully.

"Consider it my present to you. You’re not the only one who gives gifts."

She giggled with fingers over her rosy lips.

Li Qingmu laughed warmly and hugged her.

Then she tilted her head.

"Then... can we name our son now? It’s hard caring for him when he has no name."

He nodded approvingly.

"Let’s call him Yuantian."

"Li Yuantian?"

"You don’t like it?"

She smiled sweetly and laughed.

"I love it."

They high-fived like mischievous children.

An hour later.

A clothed Zhen Rou carried a sleeping Li Zimo inside and tucked her into a guest cot.

Next she settled Li Er beside his sister then returned to the doorway cradling little Yuantian.

Her entourage of weary servants waited in the courtyard with frustrated eyes.

She looked up at Li Qingmu.

He had walked her to the gate.

"I really wish I could stay longer..."

He brushed a thumb across her cheek.

"I do a lot of ugly things here so it’s better my pretty angel doesn’t see any of it."

She gave a sad little smile.

"I’ve done far worse to husband."

His eyes softened with old pain.

"Don’t bring up that shameful past."

"Mhm!"

She nodded quickly.

Li Qingmu leaned down to playfully tickle Yuantian’s plump cheek.

"Daddy will be home soon to play, little man. Be good for Mother, okay? No making her tired."

The baby gurgled and kicked his tiny feet as he let out the most adorable laugh.

Both parents teared up dramatically.

"SO CUTE!! ♥️"

The servants stared ahead like lifeless statues.

After one more kiss, Zhen Rou left.

Li Qingmu stood watching until she was gone.

Only then did he glance upward.

High above the abode.

A shapely figure hovered on a flying sword.

His heart stuttered.

"Big Sis Song...?"

Song Yan turned her face away as moonlight caught the cold line of her profile.

"So now I’m ’Big Sis’ am I? Hmph."

She didn’t look at him again and flew off.
