Starting with Growing Mushrooms-Chapter 374 - 289: Crushing the Undersea Civilization and Return (Part 2)
God said concisely: "I have explored here and need some manpower, so I choose to awaken you as Fairies."
"In the distance, there’s a truly living civilization. Your first mission is to persuade them."
K98 couldn’t help but frown slightly, and spoke very rationally, "If I may be blunt, we’ve been trapped here for too long, the civilizations that have survived here are mostly madmen with some mental issues. To persuade them..."
God said coldly, "In our world of gods, there exists the Seventh Tier!"
The Seventh Tier?
The entire K98 train trembled.
Isn’t this what they had longed for?
Or perhaps this is the obsession of all civilizations in ruins, even to an intensely paranoid degree.
Countless dead bones paved this junkyard, the despair in it was beyond words.
Everyone was for the Seventh Tier!
"If that’s the case, I’m confident, to persuade any civilization!" The two indicator lights of the K98 train kept flashing, they were its big eyes.
"The only difficulty is, finding more living civilizations in these ruins isn’t easy, as their numbers are sparse, and the ocean currents in the underwater space are like a maze."
God nodded, "Go ahead."
These small trains immediately ran out happily.
They moved like fish in the water in this ocean current space, even stronger civilizations were not as nimble as they were.
Unfortunately, for Liu Jun, awakening over a thousand was already ninety Fairies of the Divine Era’s Thousand-legged Clan, consuming one-tenth of his physical strength.
For stability, he did not plan to awaken more Fairies.
After all, he still needed to consider surfacing, resisting other ocean currents, and potential changes.
"In the end, having left the magic network, my physical strength is insufficient, unable to harness the Power of Heaven and Earth."
"The consumption of physical strength is too great, precautions must be taken."
Liu Jun, valuing his life more than anyone, pondered for a moment, "When the time comes, think of a way to open a channel in the underwater space, forming a direct back-and-forth... it will be convenient to enter and exit here."
This time, obtaining a high-level Space Divine Object key, opened a new adventure map... it was quite meaningful.
Although it was somewhat disappointing, with some rather ordinary Divine Era civilizations, this underwater adventure map had basically no danger, quite barren.
The only headache was the natural disasters, those ocean currents in the space.
The might of heaven is hard to resist.
As God, he was merely an individual of the Sixth Tier, commuting was the most troublesome issue.
Like an ordinary person holding an umbrella, walking into the rain under a level 8 typhoon, not fatal.
But uncomfortable, certainly uncomfortable.
And he could feel the helplessness of holding an umbrella alone, facing the vastness and pressure of heavenly might.
While Liu Jun was musing, K98 had already brought over representatives from that distant new underwater world civilization.
Named Yiba.
The Divine Era’s 175th Layer, relatively strong, with no special advantages.
Quite ordinary.
"There really is a Seventh Tier?" Yiba’s leader evidently didn’t believe, "A mere 30 layers... how did you?"
God wasted no words, the overwhelming coercion swept over, the other party collapsed to the ground instantly.
"Please..." Yiba’s leader’s expression softened instantly, trembling with fear, looking like a little dog begging for mercy.
God released the coercion, not paying attention to Yiba, turning to K98, and said coldly:
"You are to dwell in this Yiba civilization’s world, collect some interesting civilizational heritage, or find other surviving clansmen."
"Also, send some of your group with me back to the abode of the gods."
K98 was taken aback, quickly asked, "Will you be coming back?"
"I will return." God straightforwardly told them to gather their belongings.
"I will..." A trace of unhidden resentment and jealousy flashed in Yiba’s leader’s eyes.
"Still harboring rebellious thoughts?"
God snorted coldly, "Sure enough, trapped here too long, brains have gone awry."
Without more words, a ball of fate was thrown in, twisting personalities.
Then the power continued to spread.
The surviving clansmen within the civilization were all twisted, their worldview, civilization, even architecture... all reshaped.
Majestic godly halls rose from the ground, appearing at central areas of Yiba civilization’s cities.
In every citizen’s eyes, God was the spiritual pillar in their history, the greatest sect.
"Thank God, I will follow Your will!" said Yiba’s leader respectfully.
"Let it be." God paid no further heed.
Beside him, K98 displayed a fanatical gaze, "Exaggerated, so exaggerated, with a mere thought, the world was reshaped, new history, new civilization, and faith..."
"Is this God?"
He clenched his fists, excitedly, "The world of gods, the world of the deities... truly something to look forward to!"
Three days later, taking a batch of Thousand-legged Clan folk, they began to ascend.
As for that Yiba civilization?
They weren’t taken along, as a featureless race offers no benefits.
They became a civilization of devoted believers praying to God undersea, where golden godly halls flourished, and countless believers prayed.
...
Ten years later.
After passing through tumultuous space ocean currents, Liu Jun finally emerged out of the sea, beholding the endless vast starry sky.
After being in that oppressive underwater region for so long, the previously dull starry seas now felt a sense of overdue tranquility.
And nearby, K98 and other train folk cried with joy, "It’s the starry sea, it’s the starry sea, it’s the land... the land our ancestors spoke of!"
They wept with joy as though seeing sunlight for the first time, like cave dwellers who had never seen the sun before.
"Is that a planet?"
"So fascinating!"
A train joyfully circled a planet like a child, twisting around it like a slender thread twining two loops around a basketball.
K98 couldn’t help but introduce, "In the past, our planet, while coexisting with the race that created us, was said to be like a giant egg wrapped with bandages..."
"We trains orbited it like satellites, with incredibly convenient transportation."
He excitedly recounted past stories,
"But by the time of the space train era, we had sunk into the space... our dozens of people, linking tail to head, could become a long, narrow space transport tunnel, quickly."
Liu Jun pondered, sensing vaguely that this civilization was certainly interesting before, with immensely developed transportation.
What a pity, many splendid cosmic civilizations ended like this, leaving the universe barren, in the age of great voyages, only scattered planetary islands remained.
In Liu Jun’s view, this cosmic environment was too dull.
A growing, intense thought arose in his mind, "The real universe is truly trash! Reality is indeed a garbage OL, I really need to create a mythic world and reshape this universe."
"However I wish to shape it, I’ll shape out a mature Seventh Tier road."
After briefly resting on the surface, they continued onward, quickly arriving at the star system of the God’s land continent.
Ignoring K98 and the trains’ exclamations, Liu Jun led them into the Mushroom Soup, returning to the place of all gods.
After this wave of toil was over, Liu Jun felt somewhat exhausted, this long-distance travel was quite mentally taxing.
Next time, he likely wouldn’t go personally, but have other gods figure out new technology, creating a fast underwater passage.
What?
You think it’s impossible?
With the Divine Power held by the gods, anything is possible.
If truly impossible, just start stewing soup, concocting corresponding Divine Power to manage this underwater junkyard.
Handling civilization’s junkyard, protecting the environment, everyone’s responsibility!
