Stolen by the Beastly Lycan King-Chapter 94: What Does It Mean?
Chapter 94: What Does It Mean?
Lorelai’s face flushed with embarrassment. She recalled how he did the same with the coins back in the gambling room––a simple trick he seemed to have mustered to perfection, but his little action of deception was filled with unconcealed seduction which worked on the princess every single time.
Rhaegar truly enjoyed the sight of Lorelai’s blushing face. Even when struggling to resist the temptation, he loved that her body was always honest with him. At least he knew that he was not delusional.
Removing the ribbon from his mouth, the king kissed her face and neck, intoxicating her senses. Still resisting, Lorelai managed to push him away, and although the man obeyed and pulled his upper body away from her, his strong legs were still holding her thighs trapped between them.
Rhaegar spread his lips into a cunning smile, his eyes glistening with desire. He grabbed the princess’ thighs with both hands and opened them, the back of his right hand sliding shamelessly over her inner thigh.
Although Lorelai was wearing pants and the king was wearing leather gloves, his touch was still so vivid that she could not help but shudder every time his long fingers would change their direction, teasing her as they moved up between her legs, pausing right before her mound before change direction again.
Lorelai was already wet and Rhaegar could sense it. The pheromones she was exuding were so strong, that he felt as if the entire tent was soaked in her enticing scent.
Letting out a long sigh, he smiled bitterly. "It’s a shame, I really don’t have much time left."
Lorelai blinked her long eyelashes, dumbfounded. She found herself secretly wishing he would do something to her, but she had to admit that it was for the best. If he had enough time, the princess would have been left unable to continue with the hunt.
Positioning himself between her legs, Rhaegar stood above her on his knees, smiling down at her.
The couch creaked under his shifting weight, slightly increased today because of the weight of the sword and protective armor. His bow and quiver were probably strapped to his horse, but he kept his sword with him.
Rhaegar played with the black ribbon for a few moments, sliding his long fingers over its silky surface before finally reaching for the hilt of his sword.
If he tied the ribbon around the hilt, everyone would wonder where he had gotten it as soon as they saw it, and Lorelai’s name would be their first guess.
The princess wanted to stop him but he moved his hand away from the sword, going all the way up to his neck.
"Should I wear it around my neck? I saw you wrapping it around a black dog’s neck earlier... Since I am a dog myself, will it suit me too?"
Lorelai’s eyes widened as his words sank in. "A dog?"
As soon as she said that, she recalled a simple black ribbon she tied around the old hunting dog’s neck and it made her blush again. She had no idea the king saw her do that.
But what was even more surprising was that he wanted her to do the same to him.
’Well,’ she thought to herself, ’at least this way, no one will see it...’
The princess nodded and Rhaegar unbuttoned his shirt, exposing his strong tanned neck and collarbones. He leaned down again, their bodies dangerously close.
With trembling fingers, Lorelai accepted her ribbon back and reached for the king’s neck, pausing for a brief moment to think about the way to tie it discretely. As if having read her mind, the man chuckled and said, "Just make a loose knot. No one will see it under the shirt, I promise."
Lorelai nodded again and did exactly that––she carefully wrapped the ribbon around Rhaegar’s neck, gasping lightly as her naked fingers brushed over his warm skin, then tied a simple knot, letting the ribbon hang loosely.
Once she was finished, the princess was about to pull her hand away but the king caught it with his right hand and planted a kiss on her palm, his amber eyes glowing as he said, "Think of me as your loyal hunting dog today, princess. If there is a particular prey you want, just say the word and I will bring it to you."
Lorelai’s cheeks flushed red again, she could not believe the lycan king had just said those words. She thought he hated to be called an animal, but it seemed that he did not mind being an animal for her.
"You sound ridiculous," she finally replied, pulling her hand away.
"It’s normal to act a little crazy when you are in love," he said, grinning.
She didn’t understand why he mentioned love out of nowhere. Rhaegar tilted his head to the side and that action made him look like a curious dog.
"Take a good look at me, Lorelai." His eyes narrowed and the wide grin suddenly turned into a bitter smile. "I am only this ridiculous around you, wouldn’t you agree?"
Lorelai looked at him, utterly stunned, the king’s words echoing in her head.
Rhaegar’s face was almost emotionless as if he had not just said something so heavy and meaningful. The princess’ green eyes grew wider and wider as the words sunk in deeper, her thoughts swirling, and she put a startled hand to her mouth.
But he said it, right? She was not sure anymore.
As she sat there without any idea what to do, Rhaegar pulled her hand away from her mouth and leaned closer for a little kiss, his lips barely brushing over hers. Then, he whispered,
"The hunt might be a long one, so take your time and think it over. You are a smart girl; a sensible one. Unlike me who is guided by nothing but beastly instincts and desires. But what does it mean? I am no longer sure."
"Not sure..?" she began and stopped. She tried to get the words out, but couldn’t stop stuttering. "What-what does it mean?"
