Stranger Danger-Chapter 1337: Easy As Turning My Palm

Ye Qing and Papersmith continued forward as if they couldn’t feel the pressure though. Every time Ye Qing took a step, the roaring white tiger in the sky would back a step, and the powerful wind that swept heaven and earth would fall back a tad.

By the time Ye Qing reached the entrance of White Tiger Monastery, he white tiger had been forced all the way back into the dark clouds, afraid to show its face. As for the powerful wind, it had been pushed back into the monastery itself and toppled over walls.

It was at this moment a man wearing a Taoist robe stepped out from inside the monastery. He had a human body but a tiger’s head.

The Bone Cutting Wind stripped one of their flesh and turned them into skeletons instantly. Hence the name. It was also how White Tiger Temple collected enough skeletons to make a whole monastery out of it.

Several years ago, White Tiger Monastery was just a small monastery. It wasn’t built from bones either. But after Taoist Tiger arrived, anyone who tried to invade the monastery by force would be stripped into bones by the Bone Cutting Wind. Taoist Tiger would then mix their bones into the monastery’s walls.

Over time, White Tiger Monastery kept becoming bigger, and Taoist Tiger became more and more famous as well. Eventually, it became a forbidden zone like the city entrance of the Void Stomach City.

Everyone in Void Stomach City feared White Bone Monastery and Taoist Tiger as much as they feared the Rain of Aging, Bloody Wind, the yin fire of the city entrance and all other disasters and Anomalies.

In the past, these people would have run off as soon as they caught sight the Bone Cutting Wind and Taoist Tiger. But today, despite being so afraid that they were as pale as a sheet, they did not run away.

It was because of the young man standing in front of them.

Taoist Tiger narrowed his eyes slightly. “You know a way?”

“I do!” Ye Qing declared with absolute confidence. “I found my way in. Naturally, I can find my way out.”

“In fact, this offer extends not just to you. I can save everyone from this place.”

When Ye Qing said this, everyone’s eyes lit up at once. The light in their eyes was so bright that it seemed capable of illuminating everything; fierce enough to burn everything.

It was madness, zealotry, and hope.

No one was yelling or cheering or talking though. No one was even making a peep.

After all, their god was talking.

Taoist Tiger’s eyes were no less bright than the others, but they were also full of danger. “Why should I believe you?”

The bones of the giant bone tiger clashed and rubbed against each other. The individual noise created by two bones might be soft and dull, but thousands, no, millions of them making noises at the same time? It became a shrill, deafening, horrifying roar that resembled a tiger or a ghost’s.

“Nothing.”

Ye Qing smiled. “All I ask is that you help me with a small matter.”

Taoist Tiger replied affirmatively, “Please enlighten me, warrior.”

Taoist Tiger did not reject Ye Qing even though he did not believe that the “small matter” was really an insignificant matter.

He wouldn’t have caused all this commotion otherwise.

Even if that wasn’t the case, this matter was important enough to convince a Half-Sage to come to this heaven forsaken place in person. With that in mind, how could it be insignificant?

“I need your help to find my friends.”

Ye Qing revealed his objective immediately. “They were kidnapped to this place by the Yin Horse Carriage several days ago. I would like to recruit your help in finding them.”
