Stranger Danger-Chapter 1669: Fishing In Muddy Waters

“You cannot escape, Qi Yue. We outnumber you vastly. You cannot escape the Celestial Market On A Cloud no matter what you do.”

As he said this, the nail behind his back abruptly burst into crimson gold flames.

A bloodcurdling scream erupted from the nail, and Qian Lian’s energies abruptly skyrocketed. Then, he thrust his hand forward and surrounded Qi Yue in the Demon Burning Divine Flame.

“Elders, please capture this traitor with me!”

The reason he wasted all these breaths on Qi Yue was to gather his strength and expel the nail in his back in one go.

The elders also attacked Qi Yue in perfect unison as if they had anticipated this.

“Did you think that you’re the only one stalling for time?” Qi Yue said scornfully. The next moment, the ancient corpse that had been suppressed by the elders earlier abruptly exploded with power and broke free from her restraints in one go. Then, she threw a punch at the nearest elder.

The elder’s astral qi and Magia were ripped apart like they were made of paper. His chest caved in and he was sent flying through the air. He was unconscious long before he hit the ground.

Qian Lian was stunned to say the least. At that moment, he felt as if the arrays and restrictions maintaining and preserving the Celestial Market On A Cloud had taken a huge blow. As a result, the Strange Artifact was collapsing rapidly.

“Hahaha... this is my final gift to you. Do you like it?”

Qi Yue laughed loudly before looking at the guests. “Oh right, thank you so much for enjoying the show I’ve prepared today. I have prepared a big gift for all of you as well. Please accept them!”

“Hahaha... pot calling the kettle black much, oathbreaker?” Qi Yue sneered. “You best not waste anymore time, by the way. Dilly dally some more, and you’re actually going to lose the Celestial Market On A Cloud.”

“Anyway, this is as far as I’ll bother you. I’m going.”

Qi Yue abruptly disappeared after saying this. “No need to see me off.”

“Don’t chase him. The Celestial Market On A Cloud is more important!”

A livid Qian Lian only wished that he could rip Qi Yue into a million pieces, but he did not go after the old man. Even if he succeeded in killing Qi Yue, the price would be losing the Celestial Market On A Cloud. It wouldn’t be worth it.

Ye Qing then recalled Qi Yue and asked Feng Qingyou, “Say do you think Qi Yue could keep his Primordial Celestial Dew?”

When Qi Yue left the Celestial Market On A Cloud and escaped, a lot of people chose not to take part in the looting and went after him instead. Of course, it was to obtain his Primordial Celestial Dew. The treasures were great, but none was greater than the Primordial Celestial Dew after all.

To be honest, if they didn’t have something important to do, they would have gotten involved in the fun and try to snatch the drop of Primordial Celestial Dew for themselves.

Sometimes, some things just weren’t in store for you.

“That Qi Yue is a formidable warrior.”
